Handmade Women’s 10K White Gold Snowflake Necklace — Twinkle Snow CZ, 18 Inches

José Lux builds this women’s 10K White Gold snowflake necklace in 10K gold — 41.7% pure gold — in White Gold. It’s 18 inches long, weighs 1.53 grams, and closes with a handmade lobster clasp. Six Twinkle Snow Swiss CZ (Cubic Zirconia) stones and one clear CZ are set in a six-armed snowflake pendant. There’s no Moissanite on this necklace. The snowflake is the design, and the CZ is the accent.

The pendant is a six-armed snowflake in White Gold. Each arm ends in a flared tip. A smooth, polished outline frames the arms, and the panels inside are cut with fine lines that run along each arm and catch light in stripes. At the middle, the clear CZ sits inside a ring of small beads. A Twinkle Snow CZ sits at the base of each arm. The chain attaches at the two upper arms, so the snowflake hangs flat, and one small bead sits on the chain beside it. The back is finished too: fine lines radiate from the center in a sunburst, so the side against your skin isn’t left plain. That’s a lighter, more detailed build than our Moissanite necklaces, which carry a GRA-certified center stone. Here every stone is an accent, and we’d rather say that up front than let you assume otherwise.

The Gold and Karat

The necklace is solid gold — never gold-filled, never gold-plated. It’s 10K gold, which is 41.7% pure gold, alloyed with more of the harder metals than 14K gold — 58.3% pure gold — so it resists everyday scratching a little better. The trade-off is that it carries less pure gold than 14K gold. This listing sells one karat.

White Gold gets its color from the alloy formula. Pure gold is yellow. During alloying, we mix copper, silver, zinc, or palladium into it in a set ratio, and each gold color uses a different ratio. The color is in the metal. It isn’t a coating, and there’s no plated layer on top. The White Gold alloy uses no nickel.

Length and Clasp

Every José Lux gold necklace is 18 inches — the standard length for women. It sits at the collarbone, so you can wear it alone or layer a shorter chain above it. The Twinkle Snow CZ

Twinkle Snow is the name of the stone color, a light blue. The six outer stones are Swiss CZ in that color, set by hand one at a time, one at the base of each arm. The clear stone in the middle is CZ too. CZ is the accent stone on this necklace, and it isn’t a diamond. This necklace has no Moissanite stone, so it ships without a GRA report. We’d rather say that plainly than let the paperwork imply something it isn’t.

Colored stones read differently in different light. Yours may look a little bluer or greener than in the photos. The clear stone gives one bright point, and the six blue stones ring it like frost on the arms.

How It’s Made

Every necklace goes through four stages at the José Lux workshop before it ships. First, alloying. We melt pure 24K gold with alloy metals in the exact ratio for 10K gold, in the White Gold formula. Second, design and mold making. The pendant starts as a 3D CAD design and a wax model, then goes through lost-wax casting. Third, fabrication and finishing. We cut, file, and solder, set each CZ stone by hand, make the lobster clasp by hand, and polish the smooth surfaces to a mirror finish. All of it happens at the bench. Fourth, quality control. We test the karat with an XRF machine, check nickel content, and stamp the legal karat hallmark.

A snowflake has six arms and a lot of edges, so every arm has to match the others. Each CZ at the base of an arm has to sit at the same height. We’ve alloyed gold and set stones at the same bench in Hồ Chí Minh City for years.

Care

Take the necklace off to clean it and to store it. Wipe it with the jewelry cleaning cloth in the box. Open the lobster clasp, lay the chain flat in its jewelry box, and close the clasp so the chain doesn’t tangle. Keep the necklace away from hard knocks. A hard impact is the most common cause of a loose stone.

Every José Lux gold necklace carries a lifetime warranty. Repairs are free — for life, no expiration date. CZ resetting is always free. We hand-set every stone and check every setting before the necklace ships, which is why a stone coming loose under normal daily wear is rare.
