The hook engages the terminal ring of the chain with enough tension to stay closed through daily movement. It doesn't spring open. It doesn't rattle against the link. When you want to take it off, a slight flex on the hook releases it from the ring — clean, fast, one-hand operation.

The clasp is also easy to unhook from a pendant bail when you want to swap pieces. Press in, release, done. Every hook is tested at the workshop before the chain ships. Care

Clasp: if the S-hook fails under normal daily wear — no impacts, no bending from force — José Lux repairs or replaces it. Contact the workshop with a description and we handle it.

Chain integrity: Bullet Link in 925 sterling silver is a structurally stable pattern. Link deformation or connector ring failure from normal daily wear is extremely rare. If it happens without impact damage, José Lux assesses and repairs it.

What's not covered: visible physical damage from a hard pull, drop, or impact. We inspect each case and communicate what we observe. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we quote the cost clearly before any work is done.
