José Lux has been setting Moissanite stones for over a decade. The Bypass Swirl is not the easiest ring in the workshop to build — the swirl geometry means both baguette CZ arms have to be set and aligned while the shank is already in its swept, crossed position. There's no shortcut on that. You either set it right at the bench or the lines don't track. This is bench work, not machine output.
The center cluster is three GRA certified Moissanite stones: one 7.2mm round brilliant at the center, flanked by two 7mm round brilliant stones, all three prong-set and aligned on the same horizontal axis. The accent stones on both swirl arms are Swiss CZ baguettes — cubic zirconia, not Moissanite. The band is 925 sterling silver, hand white-gold plated at our Vietnam workshop. José Lux will tell you exactly what's in this ring, because that's how we work.
The Three Moissanite Stones
The center cluster has three stones, all GRA certified Moissanite. The center stone is 7.2mm, round brilliant cut, 58 facets, 1.3ct equivalent. The two flanking stones are 7mm each, round brilliant, 58 facets, 1.2ct equivalent each. All three are Color D — colorless — and Clarity FL, internally flawless. Each stone comes with its own GRA certificate and a unique report number traceable to that specific stone. Physical certificate, not a card.

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a diamond, and José Lux doesn't say it is. What it does have is more fire than diamond — more rainbow flashes in direct and angled light. With three Moissanite stones set side by side, that fire reads across the entire cluster simultaneously. From the top, the three stones read almost as one continuous surface. That's the point of the design.
Three-stone designs traditionally represent past, present, and future. That's one way to read it. Another is simpler: three round brilliant stones at 7.2mm and 7mm each create a face surface that reads significantly larger on the finger than any single stone of the same total carat weight would. The bypass swirl arms frame that cluster and pull the eye inward. It's a well-engineered design.
The Bypass Swirl Arms and Baguette CZ Setting
The shank sweeps up from both sides in a swirl motion — each arm curving, rotating, and wrapping around the center cluster before the prongs lock the Moissanite stones in place. Both arms cross and overlap underneath the head, creating the bypass effect visible from the side profile. From the top, the baguette arms frame the three Moissanite stones in a wide, swept setting that adds visual width to the ring without adding height.
Both swirl arms carry two rows of baguette-cut Swiss CZ running their full length. Baguette stones are step-cut rectangular stones — they reflect light in long, clean lines rather than the scattered sparkle of round brilliants. On this design, the baguette arms create a strong visual contrast with the round Moissanite cluster: the cluster fires and scatters, the arms sweep and reflect. That contrast is what gives the ring its movement.
Every baguette stone on both swirl arms is individually hand-set at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. Not pressure-cast. The channel settings are adjusted by hand, tension checked before the ring leaves the bench. José Lux has seen cheaper versions of swept-arm designs where the baguette channel walls shift over time because the silver wasn't gauged right. Ours don't, because the setting work and the silver gauge are both done correctly.
About the Metal and Plating
The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for the structural rigidity a bypass swirl design requires. A swept shank carries stone weight differently than a straight band. The gauge has to be right or the swirl geometry shifts under wear. At José Lux, the silver is properly gauged for this design. We've seen cheaper bypass rings distort at the crossing point within a year. Ours don't.
Each ring gets a rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand at our Vietnam workshop. Not machine-dipped. The artisans at the José Lux workshop have been plating silver for years, and it shows in the result — the finish is more even, more durable at the baguette channel edges and the bypass crossing point where coverage matters most. Rhodium is harder than gold and sits as a barrier between the silver and the air, which is why this finish outperforms standard white gold plating.
In practice, the rhodium plated white gold finish typically holds for around three years of regular daily wear before you notice any fading. Based on José Lux's records, the reality is often longer — many customers come back to re-plate after five years, and some have recorded eight years before the first re-plate. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop. No conditions, no time limit.
Certification Included with Every Order
Every ring ships with the full GRA gemological certificates for all three Moissanite stones. Each report confirms Color D, Clarity FL, Round Brilliant cut — and carries a unique report number traceable to that specific stone. Physical certificates, not cards. The same format used in professional gemological documentation. Three stones, three certificates.
Warranty and Repairs
The prong and channel settings on José Lux rings are hand-adjusted by our artisans in Vietnam. Each stone — every baguette on both swirl arms, all three Moissanite stones in the cluster — is individually fitted and secured by hand. Not pressed in by machine. That's why stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare at José Lux.
If a stone does become loose or fall out under normal everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux will handle it:
CZ and Swiss ECZ accent stones: Re-setting or replacing these stones is always free. José Lux imports CZ and Swiss ECZ in volume directly from our suppliers, so we absorb this cost entirely. This covers every baguette stone on both swirl arms.
Moissanite center stones: If any of the three Moissanite stones is lost or needs replacement, José Lux charges at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier — never at retail price. That's the lowest possible charge. The labor to re-set it is always free.
Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No conditions, no time limit.
What's not covered: stones lost due to a hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation of the band or prongs consistent with a fall. That's accidental damage, not a manufacturing defect. José Lux inspects each case individually and communicates honestly about what is observed. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we'll still fix it — at cost, with a clear quote first.

Our Workshop
Our workshop is in Vietnam. Every stone in this ring was hand-set there by José Lux artisans — all three Moissanite stones individually prong-set and aligned, every baguette CZ channel-set by hand, every band hand-plated and hand-finished. No machine output. This is José Lux's own workshop. The artisans here specialize in silver. The Bypass Swirl takes more bench time than a standard solitaire — that's not a selling point, it's just what aligning three Moissanite stones inside a swept, crossed shank geometry actually requires.

Your Ring Arrives Protected — Two-Layer Box Packaging, USPS Insured

Your ring ships in two layers of packaging. The inner ring box holds the ring securely in place. The outer box protects everything during transit. On top of that, the ring itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — so there's no movement, no impact damage, nothing shifts in transit.
Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. Even if an address was entered incorrectly at checkout, José Lux refunds you in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That's the José Lux standard.
FAQ
Why three Moissanite stones instead of one?
Three round brilliant stones set side by side at 7.2mm and 7mm create a combined face surface that reads significantly larger on the finger than a single stone of the same total carat weight. The cluster spreads the light across a wider area. The bypass swirl arms frame that cluster and draw the eye inward. If the goal is presence on the hand, three stones achieve it more effectively than one.
What are the baguette stones on the swirl arms?
Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia. Not Moissanite. Every baguette stone on both swirl arms is Swiss CZ, channel-set by hand at the José Lux workshop. Baguette cuts are step-cut rectangular stones — they reflect light in long, clean lines rather than scatter it. On this ring, they contrast with the round brilliant Moissanite cluster: the cluster fires and flashes, the arms sweep and reflect. The CZ is the structural architecture of the design. The Moissanite cluster is the certified stone.
What is a bypass swirl setting?
Both shank arms sweep upward in a curved, rotating motion — each arm curving around and overlapping the other before converging at the center cluster. The crossing is visible from the profile view. From the top, both arms frame the three Moissanite stones in a wide, swept formation. The swirl effect comes from both the curvature of the arms and the baguette stones running their full length — the lines of the baguettes follow the sweep and give the whole design its sense of movement.
Are all three Moissanite stones GRA certified?
Yes. All three Moissanite stones are individually GRA certified — Color D (colorless), Clarity FL (internally flawless). Each stone comes with its own GRA certificate and a unique report number traceable to that specific stone. Three stones, three physical certificates. The same format used in professional gemological documentation.
What is a rhodium plated white gold finish, and how long does it last?
Rhodium is a platinum-group metal — harder than gold, naturally white, and resistant to tarnish. Applied over 925 sterling silver by hand at our Vietnam workshop, it creates a bright, durable surface that holds longer than standard white gold plating. José Lux applies it by hand — not by machine — which gives more even coverage at the baguette channel edges, the bypass crossing point, and the prong bases where detail work matters most.
In terms of durability: the finish typically holds around three years of regular daily wear. In practice, many José Lux customers come back to re-plate after five years, and some have gone eight years before they noticed any fading. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — whenever the time comes, we take care of it.
What does the warranty cover on this design?
The prong and channel settings on José Lux rings are engineered for durability and adjusted by hand — stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare, even on a design with this many stones. If a stone does come loose or fall out with no evidence of impact damage: CZ and Swiss ECZ baguette stones on both swirl arms are re-set for free. José Lux imports these in volume and absorbs the cost entirely. Moissanite center stone replacement is charged at José Lux's import cost from our Hong Kong supplier — never at retail. Re-plating is always free.
What's not covered: impact damage — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux will still repair it in that case, at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.
How does shipping work?
Free USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking included, sent the day your order ships. Estimated 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — José Lux is upfront about that rather than promising a delivery window that can't be controlled. Every shipment is 100% insured.
How do we find your ring size?
José Lux makes every ring to your size — custom fit. Use our sizing guide and 60-second measurement video to get your measurement right before ordering. If you're between sizes or unsure, message us first — it's easier to get it right upfront than to adjust later.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. Our artisans specialize in silver. The Bypass Swirl takes significantly more bench time than a standard solitaire — aligning three Moissanite stones and setting the baguette channels while the shank is already in its crossed geometry is bench work that can't be rushed. This is José Lux's own workshop. The origin isn't a footnote — it's the reason the craft is consistent.
