José Lux has been setting Moissanite stones for over a decade. Most of what we set is colorless D-FL white. The Champagne Moissanite is different — and it’s worth being specific about why. The center stone on this ring is a warm yellow-gold Moissanite. That champagne tone is a naturally occurring color in the crystal, not a treatment or coating. It shifts in different light: golden indoors, amber-cognac in direct sun. Against the white Swiss CZ halo and the rhodium-plated silver band, the contrast is the design. The warm center, the icy white surround.

The halo around the center stone is built from three concentric rows of round Swiss CZ — all round brilliant cut, all prong-set, all forming one large circular halo. Three rows of round stones radiating outward from the champagne Moissanite. The band runs three rows down both shoulders. Every stone in every position is individually hand-set at our Vietnam workshop.
The Center Stone — Champagne Moissanite, 8.2mm, 2CT Equivalent
The center stone is GRA-certified Moissanite — 8.2mm round brilliant cut, 58 facets, 2ct equivalent weight. Each stone ships with its own GRA certificate carrying a unique report ID traceable to your specific stone. Physical certificate, not a card.
This is a Champagne Moissanite — a naturally occurring warm yellow-gold tone. The color develops during the silicon carbide crystal growth process. It is not applied after the fact. It is not a coating. It does not wear off. What you see in the stone is the stone itself.

Moissanite has more fire than diamond — more rainbow dispersion in directional light. On a champagne stone, that fire reads differently than on a colorless stone. The warm base color combined with the high dispersion produces amber, gold, and rainbow flashes in direct sunlight. Indoors under warm light, the stone glows. In daylight, it flashes. Against the white Swiss CZ halo, the color contrast is immediately visible and is the defining visual feature of this ring.
All halo stones and shoulder band stones are white Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia. Their job is to frame the champagne center and create the color contrast. The Moissanite is the certified center stone. The Swiss CZ is the white architecture around it.
The Halo — Three Concentric Rows of Round Swiss CZ
The halo on this ring is three rows of round Swiss CZ arranged in three concentric circles around the champagne Moissanite. All round brilliant cut. All prong-set. All white. Three rows form one large round halo that spreads significantly wider than the center stone alone.
The inner row sits directly against the center stone — smaller round CZ, tight to the Moissanite, creating the first ring of white sparkle immediately around the champagne color. The middle row is the dominant row — larger round CZ, prong-set, the widest row in the halo. The outer row completes the circle — round CZ, prong-set, extending the halo to its full diameter.

Three rows of round stones produce three different distances of white light from the warm center. The combined diameter of the full halo makes this ring read significantly larger on the finger than the 8.2mm center stone alone. In direct light, all three rows scatter simultaneously — the whole halo flashes as one continuous ring of white around the champagne Moissanite.
The Shoulders — Three-Row Band
The band runs three rows of Swiss CZ down both shoulders. The top and bottom rows are round pavé CZ — small round stones hand-set close together. The center row is baguette-cut CZ, channel-set between the two round pavé rows. Three distinct stone cuts, three distinct rows, all hand-set at our Vietnam workshop.

The baguette center row in the shoulder echoes the rectangular cuts visible in the halo structure when viewed from the side. It connects the design visually from halo to band. From above, the three shoulder rows extend sparkle outward from the halo down into the band. From the side, the shoulder reads as a wide, dense strip of mixed-cut stone.
The Metal and Plating
The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity. A three-row halo and a three-row shoulder band carry significant stone load on the mount. José Lux uses a properly gauged silver blank for this design — the halo frame and shoulder settings need a stable base to hold tension over years of daily wear.

Each ring gets a rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand at our Vietnam workshop. Not machine-dipped. The artisans doing this work have been plating silver for years. On a design this surface-varied — three halo rows of prong-set round stones, three shoulder rows of mixed-cut stones, the four center prongs — hand plating gives more consistent coverage at every detail point than machine dipping.
Rhodium is harder than gold and sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline for this finish: three years of regular daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, many José Lux customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have recorded eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect how long it holds. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.
Certification
Every ring ships with the full GRA gemological certificate for the Moissanite center stone. The report confirms the stone grade, cut, and dimensions — and carries a unique report number traceable to your specific stone. Physical certificate, not a card. The same format used in professional gemological documentation.

Warranty and Repairs
Every stone position on this ring — all three halo rows, the center prong mount, and the three-row shoulder band — is hand-set by our artisans at the José Lux Vietnam workshop. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. That’s by design, not luck.
If a stone does come loose or fall out under everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux handles it:
CZ and Swiss CZ accent stones: Re-setting or replacing any halo stone or shoulder band stone is always free. José Lux imports CZ in volume directly from our suppliers. We absorb the cost entirely. This covers all three halo rows and all three shoulder rows.
Moissanite center stone: If the center stone needs replacement, José Lux charges at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier — never at retail. That’s the lowest possible charge. Re-setting labor is always free.
Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.
Shipping
Ships free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the same day your order ships. Estimated delivery 7–14 business days. European orders occasionally see customs delays — José Lux states that honestly rather than promise a window we can’t control.

Our Workshop
Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who hand-set every stone on this ring and hand-plate every band have been doing this work for years — longer than most jewelry brands have been selling online. Every prong in the three-row halo is adjusted by hand. Every stone in the three-row shoulder band is set by hand. Every band is plated by hand. This is José Lux’s own workshop, not a third-party factory.
The triple-row halo requires precise individual placement across three concentric rows — the spacing and sizing have to be consistent for the full circle to sit flat and read as one halo. The mixed-cut shoulder requires clean transitions between the round pavé rows and the baguette channel row. That’s not marketing language. It’s just what making this ring correctly requires. We’ve done it enough times to know what right looks like.

FAQ
What is a Champagne Moissanite?
Champagne Moissanite is a naturally occurring color variant of lab-created Moissanite. The warm yellow-gold tone develops during the silicon carbide crystal growth process — it is not a dye, treatment, or surface coating applied after the stone is grown. The color is intrinsic to the crystal. It does not fade, wear off, or change with normal wear. Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a diamond. The champagne variant refers to stones where the crystal grew with a warm golden hue rather than colorless.
What does the halo look like?
Three concentric rings of round white Swiss CZ, all prong-set, forming one large circular halo around the champagne Moissanite. The inner ring sits directly against the center stone. The middle ring is the widest row — the dominant visual layer of the halo. The outer ring completes the circle at the full halo diameter. From above, the whole halo reads as one large round frame of white sparkle around the warm champagne center. In direct light, all three rows flash simultaneously.
How does the color look in different lighting?
The champagne tone shifts with the light source. Under warm indoor light, the stone reads as rich golden amber. In direct daylight, the Moissanite’s high fire produces rainbow flashes through the warm base — amber, gold, and scattered color simultaneously. In shade or cool fluorescent light, the champagne reads as more muted gold. Against the white CZ halo and the rhodium-plated silver band, the contrast between the warm center and the white surround is visible in every lighting condition.
Is the color permanent?
Yes. The champagne color is in the crystal — not on its surface. It grew that color. It is not a treatment, coating, or finish. It does not wear off, fade, or change with daily wear, cleaning, or re-plating.
What are the halo and shoulder stones made of?
All accent stones are white Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia. Not Moissanite. The center stone only is Moissanite. The three halo rows and all three rows of the shoulder band are Swiss CZ, individually hand-set. They are colorless and bright — the color contrast between the white CZ halo and the champagne Moissanite center is intentional and visible. José Lux states this clearly because we want you to know exactly what you’re buying.
How does the ring look in person?
The champagne Moissanite is immediately the focal point. The warm color against the white rhodium setting and the three-row white CZ halo makes the center stone unmistakable from across a room. The 8.2mm stone reads large on its own. The three-row halo adds significant spread — the full halo diameter is considerably wider than the center stone alone. The three-row shoulder band extends coverage down both sides. The rhodium plated finish is mirror-bright white across the entire setting. This is a ring with presence. The champagne center is what people notice first.
How long does the plating last?
The rhodium plated white gold finish is hand-applied at our Vietnam workshop — not machine-dipped. Conservative baseline: three years of regular daily wear. In practice, many of our customers come back to re-plate after five years, and we’ve recorded eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, how often you wear it, and whether you take it off around chemicals all affect the timeline. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop. Whenever the time comes, we take care of it.
What does the warranty cover?
The halo and shoulder settings on José Lux rings are built to hold — stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. If it happens: all Swiss CZ stones across all three halo rows and all three shoulder rows are re-set for free. José Lux imports CZ in volume and absorbs the cost entirely. Champagne Moissanite center stone replacement is charged at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier — never at retail. Re-plating is always free.
How does shipping work?
Free USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the same day your order ships. Estimated 7–14 business days. European orders occasionally see customs delays — José Lux is honest about that rather than promising a window we can’t control. Every shipment is 100% insured. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, including an incorrect delivery address, a full refund is issued.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. Our artisans specialize in silver. Three concentric rows of round prong-set stones forming one halo, plus a three-row mixed-cut shoulder band — every stone position is set by hand. Every band is plated by hand. This is José Lux’s own workshop. The origin isn’t a footnote — it’s the reason the work is consistent.
