José Lux has been setting Moissanite stones for over a decade. This ring — the Five-Row Halo — is one of the most setting-intensive designs in the workshop. Five concentric rings of Swiss CZ surround the center stone — each individually hand-set. The band runs Swiss CZ in a pavé setting down both shoulders. When you look at it under light, every stone activates at once. That's not an accident — it's what this design is built for.
The center stone is GRA certified Moissanite, Color D, Clarity FL. The halo stones and band stones are Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia, not Moissanite. The band is 925 sterling silver, hand white-gold plated at our Vietnam workshop. José Lux will tell you exactly what you're buying, because that's how we want to work.
The Center Stone
The center stone is GRA certified Moissanite — Color D (colorless), Clarity FL (internally flawless). Round brilliant cut, 8mm, 58 facets, 2.0ct equivalent. Every stone ships with its own GRA certificate carrying a unique report number traceable to your specific stone. Physical certificate — not a card, not a printed label.
Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a diamond, and José Lux will not tell you it is. What it does have is more fire than diamond — more rainbow flashes in direct light. On a five-row halo design with this many stones, that fire multiplies across the setting. The ring reads significantly larger on the finger than the center stone measurement alone would suggest.
The Five-Row Halo and Pavé Band
Five concentric rings of Swiss CZ surround the center Moissanite — each ring individually hand-set at the José Lux workshop. Not pressed in by machine. The artisans set each stone one by one, adjust each prong by hand, and check the tension before the ring leaves the bench. Five rings of stone, each needing its own setting work — this is what makes this design one of the most bench-intensive settings we make.

The band runs Swiss CZ stones in a pavé setting down both shoulders. Each stone is individually hand-set — not cast in by machine. The pavé band extends the sparkle from the five-row halo across the shoulders, so the ring stays active under light from every angle.
The five rings of CZ halo stones and the pavé band stones are well-matched in color brightness to the Moissanite center. They are a different material with different hardness — the center Moissanite is the certified stone. The CZ builds the shape and extends the sparkle across the band.
About the Metal and Plating
The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for the structural rigidity a five-row halo design requires. A band carrying this stone load needs proper gauge or it flexes under wear and stones work loose. José Lux has seen cheaper versions of this design fail at the shoulder joints within a year. Ours don't, because the silver is properly gauged and every setting is done by hand at the Vietnam workshop.

Each ring gets a rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand — not machine-dipped. The artisans at the José Lux workshop have been plating silver for years. The result is more even coverage at the details, better hold at the prong edges, and a brighter, more durable surface at the halo channel and pavé shoulders. Rhodium is harder than gold. It sits as a barrier between the silver and the air, which is why this finish holds longer than standard white gold plating.
The conservative baseline for the plating is around three years of regular daily wear. In practice, many José Lux customers come back to re-plate after five years. The longest recorded: eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no conditions, no time limit.
Certification Included with Every Order
Every ring ships with the full GRA gemological certificate for the Moissanite center stone. The report confirms Color D, Clarity FL, Round Brilliant cut, 8mm, 2.0ct equivalent — and carries a unique report number traceable to your specific stone. Physical certificate, not a printed card. The same format used in professional gemological documentation.
Warranty and Repairs
The prong settings on José Lux rings are hand-adjusted at the Vietnam workshop. Every stone — all five halo rings, every pavé stone on the band, the center Moissanite — is individually fitted and secured by hand. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare at José Lux. When a stone does become loose or fall out under normal everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts — José Lux handles it:
CZ and Swiss ECZ accent stones: Re-setting or replacing these stones is always free. José Lux imports CZ and Swiss ECZ in volume directly from suppliers and absorbs this cost entirely. This covers all halo stones and all pavé band stones.
Moissanite center stone: If the center stone is lost or needs replacement, José Lux charges at import cost from the Hong Kong supplier — never at retail. That's the lowest possible charge. Labor to re-set it is always free.
Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No conditions, no time limit.
What's not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation of the band or prongs consistent with a fall. That's accidental damage, not a manufacturing defect. José Lux inspects each case individually and communicates honestly. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we'll still fix it — at cost, with a clear quote first.
Shipping
Ships free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the same day the order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — José Lux notes that honestly rather than promise a window that can't be controlled. Every shipment is 100% insured. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, or damaged — you're covered in full. Even if an incorrect address was entered at checkout, a full refund is issued.
Your ring ships in two layers of packaging. The inner ring box holds the ring securely. The outer box protects everything in transit. The ring itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — no movement, no impact damage in transit.

Our Workshop
Our workshop is in Vietnam. Every stone in this ring was hand-set there by José Lux artisans — every band stone hand-placed, every prong hand-adjusted, every band hand-plated and hand-finished. No machine output. This is José Lux's own workshop. The artisans here specialize in silver. The Five-Row Halo is the most setting-intensive design in the current range — that’s not a selling point, it’s just what hand-setting this many individual stones requires.

Your Ring Arrives Protected — Two-Layer Box Packaging, USPS Insured

On top of that, the ring itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — so there's no movement, no impact damage, nothing shifts in transit.
Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. Even if an address was entered incorrectly at checkout, José Lux refunds you in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That's the José Lux standard.
FAQ
What are the halo and band stones made of?
Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia. Not Moissanite. The center stone is the GRA-certified Moissanite. All five halo rings and the pavé band stones are Swiss CZ. They're well-matched in color brightness, but they are a different material with different hardness. José Lux states this clearly because we want you to know exactly what you're buying.
What is the five-row halo setting, and why is it more complex?
A standard halo adds one ring of accent stones around the center. This ring has five — five concentric rings of Swiss CZ, each set independently by hand. Every stone in every ring is individually fitted and prong-set. That’s five times the halo setting work versus a single halo design. The result is a setting that makes the center stone appear significantly larger on the finger and gives the ring substantial visual depth under light.
What are the pavé band stones, and how do they differ from the halo?
The band stones are round brilliant Swiss CZ, set pavé — each one individually seated and secured by hand. Pavé setting puts small stones in tight formation so the whole surface catches light at once. On this ring, the pavé band extends the visual weight of the five-row halo down the shoulders. It’s what stops the design from looking top-heavy.
What is a rhodium plated white gold finish, and how long does it last?
Rhodium is a platinum-group metal — harder than gold, naturally white, and longer-lasting than standard gold plating. Applied over 925 sterling silver, a rhodium plated white gold finish creates a bright, durable surface that holds longer than standard white gold plating. José Lux applies it by hand at the Vietnam workshop, not by machine — which gives more even coverage at the detail points like prong edges and the halo channels.
In terms of durability: the conservative baseline is around three years of regular daily wear. Many José Lux customers report five years before they notice any fading. The longest José Lux has recorded before a first re-plate is eight years. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — whenever the time comes.
What does the warranty cover on a design this complex?
The prong settings on José Lux rings are engineered for durability and adjusted by hand — stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare, even on a design with this many stones. If a stone does come loose or fall out with no evidence of impact damage: CZ and Swiss ECZ stones — all five halo rings and pavé band stones — are re-set for free. Moissanite center stone replacement is charged at José Lux's import cost from the Hong Kong supplier — never at retail. Re-plating is always free.
What's not covered: impact damage — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux will still repair it in that case, at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.
How does shipping work?
Free USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking included, sent the day the order ships. Estimated 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — José Lux is upfront about that rather than promising a delivery window that can't be controlled. Every shipment is 100% insured. If delivery fails for any reason — including an incorrect address at checkout — a full refund is issued.
How do I find my ring size?
José Lux makes every ring to your size — custom fit. Use the sizing guide and 60-second measurement video before ordering. If you're between sizes or unsure, message us first — it's easier to get it right before the ring is made than to adjust it after.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. Our artisans specialize in silver. The Five-Row Halo takes significantly more bench time than a standard solitaire — that’s what hand-setting five rings of individual stones requires. This is José Lux's own workshop. The origin isn't a footnote — it's why the craft is consistent.
