José Lux has been setting Moissanite stones for over a decade. Most of what we set is colorless D-FL. The Green Moissanite is a different stone entirely — and the contrast it creates against the white Swiss CZ halo and the rhodium-plated setting is what makes this ring impossible to confuse with anything else in our lineup.

The center stone is an 8mm Green Moissanite, 2ct equivalent, in a four-prong mount. A single row of round white Swiss CZ circles it in a prong-set halo. The band runs three rows of round pavé Swiss CZ down both shoulders — covering the full face of the band, front and back, all the way around. Every stone is hand-set at our Vietnam workshop.
The Center Stone — Green Moissanite, 8mm, 2CT Equivalent
The center stone is GRA-certified Green Moissanite — 8mm round brilliant cut, 58 facets, 2ct equivalent weight. Each stone ships with its own GRA certificate carrying a unique report ID traceable to your specific stone. Physical certificate, not a card.

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a diamond and we won’t tell you it is. The green color in this stone develops during the crystal growth process — it is not a coating, not a treatment, not a surface application. The color is in the crystal itself. It does not wear off, fade, or change with daily wear, cleaning, or re-plating.
The tone shifts with light. Indoors under warm light, the stone reads as a deep forest green with blue-teal undertones. In direct daylight, Moissanite’s high fire produces rainbow dispersion through the green base — you see blue, teal, and scattered color simultaneously. In sunlight it does not sit still. The 8mm size is substantial on the finger. At 2ct equivalent, this is not a stone that goes unnoticed.
The halo and band stones are white Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia. The color contrast between the green Moissanite center and the white CZ surround is immediate and visible from across a room. The Moissanite is the certified center stone. The Swiss CZ is the white architecture around it.
The Halo and the Band
The halo is a single row of round white Swiss CZ, prong-set in a continuous circle around the green Moissanite. Each stone is individually hand-set. The halo sits flush to the center stone and adds visible spread to the face of the ring — the full halo diameter is significantly wider than the 8mm center stone alone. In direct light, the white CZ ring around the green Moissanite is the clearest expression of what this design does: it frames the color.

The band carries three rows of round pavé Swiss CZ running down both shoulders. This is not just the top face. All three rows run on the front face and the back face of the band — full coverage. Turn the ring over and the pavé is there. Look at it from the side and the pavé is there. Every surface of the band that isn’t the plain lower shank is covered with round stone. From the side, the ring profile is dense with stone from the halo down through the full band width. Every one of these pavé stones is individually hand-set at our Vietnam workshop.
The Metal and Plating
The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity. A triple-row full-band pavé carries real stone load across the entire shoulder width. José Lux uses a properly gauged blank for this design so the pavé settings hold tension over years of daily wear — not just when the ring leaves the workshop.

Each ring gets a rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand at our Vietnam workshop. Not machine-dipped. The artisans doing this work have been plating silver for years. On a ring with pavé on both faces of the full band, hand plating reaches the front face, back face, the halo channel, and the prong bases consistently. Machine dipping doesn’t cover all of those surfaces at the same depth.
Rhodium is harder than gold and sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline for this finish: three years of regular daily wear before any fading is noticeable. Many José Lux customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have recorded eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and exposure to chemicals all affect how long it holds. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.
Certification
Every ring ships with the full GRA gemological certificate for the Green Moissanite center stone. The report confirms the stone grade, cut, and dimensions — and carries a unique report number traceable to your specific stone. Physical certificate, not a card. The same format used in professional gemological documentation.

Warranty and Repairs
The prong settings and pavé settings on José Lux rings are built to hold. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare — that’s by design. Every halo stone, every pavé position on both faces of the band, and the center prong mount is hand-set by our artisans in Vietnam. Not pushed in by machine.
If a stone does come loose or fall out under everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux handles it:
CZ and Swiss CZ stones: Re-setting or replacing any halo stone or pavé band stone is always free. José Lux imports CZ in volume directly from our suppliers. We absorb the cost entirely. This covers the full halo and all pavé positions on both band faces.
Green Moissanite center stone: If the center stone needs replacement, José Lux charges at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier — never at retail. That’s the lowest possible charge. Re-setting labor is always free.
Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.

Our Workshop
Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who hand-set every stone on this ring and hand-plate every band have been doing this work for years — longer than most jewelry brands have been selling online. Every prong in the halo is adjusted by hand. Every pavé position on both faces of the band is set by hand. Every band is plated by hand. This is José Lux’s own workshop, not a third-party factory.
Setting a Green Moissanite is no different technically than setting a colorless stone — the bench work is the same. What’s different is what the stone does once it’s in the ring. We’ve set enough of them to know how the green reads against a white CZ halo and a rhodium-plated band. The contrast is the point. The white surround makes the green center visible from further away. That’s what this ring is built to do.

Your Ring Arrives Protected — Two-Layer Box Packaging, USPS Insured
Your ring ships in two layers of packaging. The inner ring box holds the ring securely in place. The outer box protects everything during transit. On top of that, the ring itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — so there's no movement, no impact damage, nothing shifts in transit.
Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. Even if an address was entered incorrectly at checkout, José Lux refunds you in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That's the José Lux standard.
FAQ
What is a Green Moissanite?
Green Moissanite is a color variant of lab-created Moissanite. The green tone develops during the silicon carbide crystal growth process — it is not a dye, surface coating, or treatment applied after the stone is grown. The color is intrinsic to the crystal. It does not wear off, fade, or change with daily wear, cleaning, or re-plating. Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a diamond. The green variant refers to stones where the crystal grew with a green-teal hue.
How does the color look in different lighting?
The green tone shifts with the light source. Under warm indoor light, the stone reads as deep forest green with blue-teal undertones. In direct daylight or sunlight, Moissanite’s high fire produces rainbow dispersion through the green base — blue, teal, and scattered color simultaneously. In shade or cool fluorescent light, the green reads as more saturated and even. The stone is not a flat, static color at any light level. Against the white Swiss CZ halo and the rhodium-plated silver setting, the green center is immediately visible in every condition.
Is the color permanent?
Yes. The green color is in the crystal — not on its surface. It grew that color. It is not a coating, surface treatment, or finish. It does not wear off, fade, or change with normal wear, cleaning, or re-plating at the José Lux workshop.
What are the halo and band stones made of?
All accent stones are white Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia. Not Moissanite. The center stone only is Moissanite. The single round halo row and all three pavé rows on both faces of the band are Swiss CZ, individually hand-set. They are colorless and bright — the color contrast between the white CZ and the green Moissanite center is intentional and visible. José Lux states this clearly because we want you to know exactly what you’re buying.
What does 'triple pavé front and back' mean?
Three rows of round Swiss CZ run down both shoulders of the band. Those three rows cover the front face of the band — the side visible from above and straight-on — and the back face of the band — visible when you turn the ring over or see it from behind on the finger. The band is covered with stone on both faces, not just the top. Turn it over and the pavé is there. Look at it from the side and all three rows are visible. Every one of those stones is individually hand-set.
How does the ring look in person?
The green Moissanite is the first thing you see. An 8mm stone at 2ct equivalent is large, and the green color makes it impossible to miss. The white CZ halo around it creates immediate contrast — white frame, green center. The triple pavé band reads as wide and fully stone-covered from every angle. The rhodium plated finish is mirror-bright white across the entire silver setting. This ring does not read subtly. The green center stone is what people notice first, and it holds attention.
How long does the plating last?
The rhodium plated white gold finish is hand-applied at our Vietnam workshop — not machine-dipped. Conservative baseline: three years of regular daily wear. Many of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. The longest we’ve recorded before a first re-plate is eight years of daily wear. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and exposure to chemicals all affect the timeline. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop. Whenever the time comes, we take care of it.
What does the warranty cover?
The halo and pavé settings on José Lux rings are built to hold — stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. If it happens: all Swiss CZ stones — the halo row and all three pavé rows on both band faces — are re-set for free. José Lux imports CZ in volume and absorbs the cost entirely. Green Moissanite center stone replacement is charged at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier — never at retail. Re-plating is always free.
How does shipping work?
Free USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the same day your order ships. Estimated 7–14 business days. European orders occasionally see customs delays — José Lux is honest about that rather than promising a window we can’t control. Every shipment is 100% insured. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, including an incorrect delivery address, a full refund is issued.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. Our artisans specialize in silver. The halo row, three rows of pavé on both faces of the full band, and the center prong mount — every stone position is set by hand. Every band is plated by hand. This is José Lux’s own workshop. The origin isn’t a footnote — it’s the reason the work is consistent.
