We’ve set a lot of wide band rings. Here’s exactly what makes this one different.

Most of the rings in this collection put the stone work on a face above the band and leave the shoulders as support. This ring inverts that logic. The band is the subject. There’s no elevated pedestal, no octagonal frame standing above the band. Five stone rows extend all the way across — shoulder to shoulder — the center stone sitting flush within the middle row rather than riding above it. What you see from above is the full width of the ring, covered end to end in CZ rows. That’s a different read than any halo or pavé ring in this collection — horizontal coverage from edge to edge.

The five rows are organized deliberately. Rows 1, 2, 4, and 5 are all round CZ — round brilliant cut, Swiss-certified, set full width. Row 3, the center row, is the only baguette-cut CZ on the ring — rectangular stones with flat facets, set in a channel running the full width of the band. That single baguette center line reads differently from the round CZ above and below it: where the round rows throw radial bursts of light, the baguette row reflects in flat horizontal planes. Up close you see both cuts. From a distance it reads as one solid field of CZ.

The center is a round brilliant CZ set in a square bezel frame on four prongs, positioned at the midpoint of the center baguette row. Two round CZ stones continue the row on either side of the frame, keeping the horizontal stripe unbroken. The center doesn’t interrupt the band pattern — it anchors it. That’s the cluster logic: the center stone and the flanking round CZ stones on the center row all read as a single grouped setting at the heart of the band.

On the hand it sits wide and flat. Five rows don’t add height the way a halo or double halo does. The coverage is lateral — the ring extends across the knuckle and the stone rows read as a band of light running side to side. If you want a ring that fills the knuckle with CZ from side to side rather than concentrating the stone work in the center, this is the one.

The CZ throughout this ring comes from certified Swiss import batches with documentation from the Swiss source to our Vietnam workshop — all stones from the same certified lot. Round brilliant CZ for four of the five rows, baguette CZ for the single center row. Both precision-cut. On a five-row band, consistency matters — one inconsistent stone in any row stands out immediately. Ours don’t.

About the Metal and Plating

The band is 925 sterling silver throughout — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural strength. High-polish on every surface. The interior has a decorative cutout lattice cast — reduces weight without structural compromise.

Each ring gets a rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand at our workshop in Vietnam. Not machine-dipped. The artisans at the José Lux workshop have been plating silver for years, and the result shows — the finish is more even, holds better across the five-row band surface, the baguette channel edges, and the inner band. Rhodium is harder than gold and sits as a barrier between the silver and the air, which is why this finish outperforms standard white gold plating.

In practice, the rhodium plated white gold finish typically holds for around three years of regular daily wear before you notice any fading. Based on José Lux’s records, the reality is often longer — many customers come back to re-plate after five years, and some have recorded eight years before the first re-plate. How long it holds depends on skin chemistry, how often you wear it, and whether you take it off around chemicals. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop.

To keep it looking its best: warm water, a drop of mild soap, 30 seconds with a soft cloth. Dry it right away. A polishing cloth is included with every order.

Handcraft — What That Means Here

Hand-finished at our Vietnam workshop by artisans with 20–30 years of bench experience. Setting a five-row band requires sequencing: the rows are set one at a time, from the outer edges inward. The center baguette row requires the most attention — baguette stones have flat facets that show any gap or tilt in the channel setting immediately. Every ring goes through a close visual inspection before boxing. On a ring with this much stone coverage across the whole band, that inspection step is long. It’s supposed to be.

Warranty and Repairs

The prong settings on José Lux rings are hand-adjusted by our artisans in Vietnam. Every stone across all five rows — round CZ in rows 1, 2, 4, and 5, the baguette channel in row 3, and the center stone — is individually set by hand. Not pressed in by machine. That’s why stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare at José Lux.

If a stone does become loose or fall out under normal everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux will handle it:

Swiss-certified CZ stones: Re-setting or replacing any CZ stone is always free. José Lux imports Swiss CZ in volume directly from our suppliers, so we absorb this cost entirely. This covers every stone on the ring — all five band rows and the center stone.

Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No conditions, no time limit.

What’s not covered: stones lost due to a hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation of the band or prongs consistent with a fall. That’s accidental damage, not a manufacturing defect. José Lux inspects each case individually and communicates honestly about what is observed. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we’ll still fix it — at cost, with a clear quote first.

Our Workshop

Our workshop is in Vietnam. Every stone in this ring was hand-set there by José Lux artisans — every band hand-plated, hand-finished. No machine output. This is José Lux’s own workshop. Five rows set sequentially, the baguette center row last. The artisans here specialize in silver. That’s all they do.

Your Ring Arrives Protected — Two-Layer Box Packaging, USPS Insured

Your ring ships in two layers of packaging. The inner ring box holds the ring securely in place. The outer box protects everything during transit. On top of that, the ring itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — so there’s no movement, no impact damage, nothing shifts in transit.

Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. Even if an address was entered incorrectly at checkout, José Lux refunds you in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That’s the José Lux standard.

FAQ

What does ‘cluster CZ wide band’ mean on this ring?

Two things. The ‘cluster’ refers to the center: the round brilliant CZ at the midpoint of the band, the square bezel frame around it, and the round CZ stones flanking it on either side within the same row — all read as one grouped setting. The ‘wide band’ refers to the full structure: five horizontal rows of CZ running the full width of the band, with a single center row of baguette-cut CZ running through the middle. The band isn’t just a mount for the center stone. The band is the ring.

How many rows of stones does this ring have?

Five rows, full width. Rows 1, 2, 4, and 5 are round CZ — the same Swiss-certified grade as the center stone. Row 3, the center row, is the only baguette-cut CZ on the ring, set in a channel running the full width of the band. The center stone bezel frame sits within that center row. From above, you see five rows of CZ across the full band — four round, one baguette line through the middle.

What cuts are the stones on this ring?

One cut for most of the band, one for the center row. Rows 1, 2, 4, and 5 are round CZ — round brilliant cut, Swiss-certified. The single center row is baguette-cut CZ in a channel setting. That’s the only baguette on this ring. The center stone itself is also round brilliant CZ. So the only baguette stones are in the center row of the band — everything else is round CZ.

What is a rhodium plated white gold finish, and how long does it last?

Rhodium is a platinum-group metal — harder than gold, naturally white, and resistant to tarnish. Applied over 925 sterling silver, it creates a bright, durable surface noticeably longer-lasting than standard white gold plating. We apply it by hand at our Vietnam workshop, not by machine — which gives more even coverage across the full five-row band surface and the channel edges.

In terms of durability: typically three years of regular daily wear before fading. Many customers re-plate at five years. Some have gone eight. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop.

What kind of stones are these? Are they diamonds?

CZ — cubic zirconia, premium grade. Not diamonds, not Moissanite. All stones — round CZ for four of the five band rows, baguette CZ for the single center row, and the round center stone — come from certified Swiss import batches with documentation from the Swiss source to our Vietnam workshop, all from the same certified lot. On a five-row band, consistency matters — every stone has to match in clarity and light return or the rows read unevenly. Our Swiss-certified grade handles that.

What does the warranty cover?

The settings on José Lux rings are engineered for durability and hand-adjusted individually — stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare, even on a ring with five full rows of coverage.

If a stone does come loose or fall out with no evidence of impact damage: every Swiss CZ on this ring is re-set for free. José Lux imports Swiss CZ in volume and absorbs the cost entirely — all five band rows and the center stone. Re-plating is always free.

Not covered: impact damage — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation consistent with a fall. We’ll still repair it in that case, at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.

How does shipping work?

Free USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking included, sent the day your order ships. Estimated 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — we’re upfront about that. Every shipment is 100% insured. Any issue — contact us directly and we sort it out.

How do we find your ring size?

We make every ring to your size — custom fit. Use our sizing guide and 60-second measurement video to get your measurement right before ordering. If you’re between sizes or unsure, message us first — easier to get it right upfront than to adjust later.

Where is this ring made?

Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. Hand-set stones across all five rows, rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand, hand-finished band. This is José Lux’s own workshop. Artisans here specialize in silver. The origin isn’t a footnote — it’s the reason the craft is consistent.
