The structure of this ring starts at the center and works outward in layers. The main stone is a 6.0mm round brilliant GRA Moissanite at 0.8ct, four-prong set on a raised platform. Around it runs a full halo of round brilliant Swiss CZ — each stone micro-pave set, running the complete perimeter of the center mount. The halo does one thing well: it makes the Moissanite read larger and pushes more light out from every angle.

From the halo, the band extends outward in three rows running across the shoulder and down the shank. The center row is princess-cut Swiss CZ set in a flush channel — square stones seated tight between two metal rails, no visible prongs, clean face. On either side of that channel row sits a row of round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pave. Three rows total across the width of the band: round pave on top, princess channel in the center, round pave on the bottom.
From the top, the eye goes to the Moissanite. From the side, the profile reads as a wide layered band — pave edge, princess channel, pave edge — with the raised halo platform and solitaire sitting above. This build runs three different setting types on the same piece: micro-pave halo, flush channel, micro-pave rail. Every row has to sit level relative to the others. Our Vietnam workshop artisans do not move a ring forward until every row passes visual check under direct light.
The Center Stone — GRA Moissanite Solitaire
The main stone is a 6.0mm round brilliant Moissanite, 0.8ct, GRA certified. Color D. Colorless. Clarity FL. 58 facets. Four-prong set, each prong adjusted by hand at our Vietnam workshop.

Moissanite is not a diamond. We say that clearly. It is lab-created silicon carbide with its own optical profile — higher refractive index than diamond, which means more fire in directional light. In sunlight or overhead lighting, a 6.0mm Moissanite at 0.8ct throws strong rainbow dispersion. Raised on its own platform with a halo of stones below it, that effect is amplified. If you want something that sits quietly, this is not it. If you want a center stone that performs in any room, this does.
The ring ships with the physical GRA certificate for the Moissanite. Unique report ID. Traceable to your specific batch. Not a card, not a QR code. A gemological report in the same format used in professional trade documentation.
The Halo & Band Stones — Swiss-Certified CZ
Every stone outside the center Moissanite — the halo ring and all three rows on the band — is premium-grade Swiss-certified cubic zirconia. Not standard CZ. The batch we import to our Vietnam workshop carries lot documentation from the Swiss source to the bench. Tighter facets. Better light return per stone than what you find in catalog-grade settings.

The halo is set in micro-pave — round brilliant CZ stones run the full perimeter of the center platform, each one prong-set by hand. The halo stones have to sit at the same depth as each other and at the right height relative to the Moissanite above. If any halo stone sits proud or low, it reads immediately under direct light. Our artisans verify every stone in the halo before the ring moves to the band-setting stage.
The center row on the band is princess-cut CZ in a flush channel — square stones seated between two metal rails with no visible prongs. Each square is individually set and the seat depth is verified before the rail closes. If a stone sits even a fraction high or low, the row reads uneven from every angle. We check it. We do not ship rings that do not pass.

The two pave rows flanking the channel — one above, one below — are micro-pave set with round brilliant CZ, running the full length of the shoulder and shank on both sides. They add width and light to the band without competing with the center. The channel reads as a clean structural center stripe. The pave rows amplify light return on both edges. That is the balance that makes the three-row profile work.
The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver
925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural strength. The blank we use on this build is gauged heavier than what you will find in catalog versions of this setting. A raised solitaire platform, a halo mount, a channel shoulder, and two micro-pave rails put significant load on the structure underneath. The gauge has to carry all of that without flex. Ours does.

The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold
Every ring leaves our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish applied by hand. Not machine-dipped. Hand-plated and checked by the same artisans who set the stones. The result is even coverage across the prong tips, the halo frame, the channel rails, and the pave rows — the points where machine-dipping leaves thin spots.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath. It sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to replate after five years. Some have reported eight years of daily wear before the first replate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all factor in.
Rhodium replating at the José Lux workshop is always free. No time limit. No conditions. You send the ring in, we repolish and recoat, we return it at no charge.
Certification

The Moissanite center stone ships with the full GRA gemological certificate — Color D (Colorless), Clarity FL (Internally Flawless), Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets. Unique report number traceable to your specific batch. Physical certificate. Same documentation format used in the professional gemological trade.

The Swiss-certified CZ halo, channel, and rail stones are sourced under a verified supplier contract with lot documentation from import to bench. That documentation stays at the José Lux workshop.
Warranty and Repairs
Every prong on a José Lux ring is tensioned by hand before it ships. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. If it happens — no evidence of impact — here is how it works:
Moissanite center stone re-setting or replacement: charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only. Never at retail. Re-setting labor is always free.
Swiss CZ stone re-setting — halo, channel shoulder, or pave rail: always free at the José Lux workshop. No charge, no conditions. We import these in volume. Reset labor is free. Stone cost is free.
Rhodium re-plating: always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.
What is not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible band deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we fix it at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.
Shipping
Free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery 7-14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — José Lux states that honestly rather than promise a window we cannot control.
Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged, or an incorrect address at checkout — you are covered in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.
Your ring ships in two layers: the inner ring box holds the ring securely with a shock-absorbing layer underneath. The outer box protects everything in transit. Nothing shifts. Nothing impacts.

Our Workshop
Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who set your GRA Moissanite solitaire, micro-set the halo ring around it, channel-press the princess cuts across the shoulder, run the pave rows down both rail edges, and hand-plate the entire band finish have been doing this work for years. Some have over 30 years of bench experience. Every prong is tensioned by hand. Every channel stone is verified by hand. Every band is plated by hand and checked by the person who plated it.
This build runs three setting types on the same piece — micro-pave halo, flush channel, micro-pave rail. Each has its own tolerance. The halo stones have to sit level with each other and at the correct height relative to the raised center. The channel row has to be flush across its full length. The two pave rows have to align with the channel on both sides. We have set enough of these to know exactly where the tolerances are. The rings that leave our workshop are within all of them.

Your Ring Arrives Protected — Two-Layer Box Packaging, USPS Insured
Your ring ships in two layers of packaging. The inner ring box holds the ring securely in place. The outer box protects everything during transit. On top of that, the ring itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — so there's no movement, no impact damage, nothing shifts in transit.
Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. Even if an address was entered incorrectly at checkout, José Lux refunds you in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That's the José Lux standard.
FAQ
What is the center stone on this ring?
A single GRA-certified Moissanite — 6.0mm, round brilliant cut, 0.8ct. Color D, Clarity FL, 58 facets. Four-prong set on a raised platform, each prong tensioned by hand at our Vietnam workshop. The physical GRA certificate ships with your order.
What is the halo?
The halo is a complete ring of round brilliant Swiss CZ stones set in micro-pave around the perimeter of the center Moissanite mount. Each stone is individually prong-set by hand. The halo makes the center stone read larger and pushes more light return around the solitaire. From the top, the Moissanite sits inside the halo frame. From the front, the center platform reads as one bright, unified unit.
How many rows of stones are on the band?
Three rows, running across the shoulder and down the shank on both sides. The center row is princess-cut Swiss CZ in a flush channel — square stones, no visible prongs, clean edge-to-edge. The row above and the row below are round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pave. Three rows total: round pave on top, princess channel in the middle, round pave on the bottom. That three-row structure is what you see in the side profile photos.
What are the halo and band stones?
All Swiss-certified cubic zirconia. The round brilliants in the halo and the pave rows, and the princess cuts in the shoulder channel — all imported under a verified supplier contract with lot documentation from the Swiss source to our bench. Not standard CZ. Premium-grade, precision-cut, traceable by batch.
What is the difference between the Moissanite center and the CZ halo and band stones?
Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide — its own material with GRA gemological documentation, Color D, Clarity FL. CZ is cubic zirconia — a different lab-created stone. Both are not diamond. On this ring, the Moissanite is the center solitaire — the stone that carries the build and comes with GRA certification. Swiss CZ fills the halo, the channel shoulder row, and the pave rail rows. The combination gives you a documented center stone with strong fire, and a fully set band that reads solid from every angle.
What does the ring look like in person?
Wide, raised, and layered. The Moissanite sits elevated on its platform with the halo ring of stones below it. In direct sunlight or overhead lighting, the center throws strong rainbow dispersion — the halo stones amplify that with another ring of light around it. The band extends outward in three clean rows: the princess channel reads as a structured center stripe, the pave rows on either side add brightness and width. From the front, it is a bold center-stone ring. From the side, the three-row band profile is clear. There is no blank silver. Every surface has stone coverage.
Is there any visible metal on the face?
On the raised solitaire platform, the four prongs are visible — standard for this build. The halo prong tips sit between the round stones and are barely visible. On the channel shoulder, the two metal rail edges are flush with the stone faces. On the pave rows, prong tips sit between stones. No blank silver panels. Every surface either has stone coverage or structural metalwork.
How long does the rhodium plating last?
Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any change is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to replate after five years. Some have reported eight years before the first replate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect the timeline. Replating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.
What does the warranty cover?
If the Moissanite center stone comes loose under normal daily wear — no impact — replacement is charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only, never retail, and re-setting labor is free. If any Swiss CZ stone comes loose — halo, channel shoulder, or pave rail — the reset is completely free, no conditions. Rhodium replating is free for life. What is not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact, visible band deformation from a drop or hard blow. We inspect every case and communicate clearly. If a repair falls outside warranty, we fix it at cost with a clear quote first.
How does sizing work?
This ring is made to order, sized to your exact measurement. We use our own José Lux size chart, provided at checkout. No off-the-shelf standard sizes. You measure using our chart, submit your size when ordering, and we build the ring to that measurement at our Vietnam workshop.
How does shipping work?
Free USPS shipping to the United States and Europe. Tracking is sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7-14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — we state that honestly rather than promising a window we cannot control. Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, a full refund is issued. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. The artisans setting your Moissanite solitaire, micro-setting the halo, channel-pressing the princess cuts, setting the pave rail rows, and hand-plating the finish have been on the bench for years. Some have over 30 years of experience. The workshop is ours — not a third-party factory. That is how we control the stone alignment, prong tension, and finish quality on every piece that ships.
