José Lux has been setting Moissanite stones for over a decade. This is a two-piece bridal ring set — an engagement ring and a matching wedding band, designed to be worn together. Each piece is hand-set and hand-plated separately at our Vietnam workshop, then paired before shipping.

The engagement ring carries an 8.2mm round brilliant Moissanite center stone in a four-prong solitaire mount, flanked by two round accent CZ stones on each side, with three full rows of round pavé Swiss CZ running down both shoulders. The wedding band below is a full pavé band — two rows of round Swiss CZ running all the way around the ring. Stacked together, the two pieces read as a single wide stone-set band from every angle. On the finger, the Moissanite sits above a continuous field of pavé from shoulder to shoulder.

The Center Stone — 8.2mm Moissanite, 2CT Equivalent

The center stone is GRA-certified Moissanite — Color D, Clarity FL. Colorless and internally flawless. 8.2mm round brilliant cut, 58 facets, 2ct equivalent weight. Each stone ships with its own GRA certificate carrying a unique report ID traceable to your specific stone. Physical certificate, not a card.

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a diamond and we won’t tell you it is. It has more fire than diamond — more rainbow dispersion in directional light. On a set this stone-dense, with an 8.2mm center elevated above three rows of pavé shoulders and a full double pavé band below, that fire multiplies. The center stone throws color. Every pavé stone around it catches and scatters light. In direct sunlight, this set does not sit quietly on the finger.

The accent stones and all pavé stones across both rings are Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia, round brilliant cut, individually hand-set. Well-matched in color and brightness to the Moissanite center. Their job is to frame the center stone and carry sparkle across the full width of the set. The Moissanite is the certified center stone. The Swiss CZ is the architecture around it.

The Engagement Ring — Triple Row Pavé Shoulders

Immediately flanking the center Moissanite on each side sit two round Swiss CZ accent stones — larger stones, prong-set, bridging the center mount to the pavé shoulder rows. They create a visual transition from the center stone outward rather than a hard cutoff.

Behind the accent stones, three full rows of round pavé Swiss CZ run down both shoulders of the engagement ring. Three rows — not two. The stones are generously sized for pavé and set close together so the shoulder surface reads as fully covered with stone. From above and from the side, the shoulders are wide and dense. When the wedding band sits below it, the three shoulder rows on the engagement ring align flush with the top edge of the double pavé band, creating a seamless stone surface across the full width of both rings.

The Wedding Band — Double Row Full Pavé

The matching wedding band is a full pavé band — two rows of round Swiss CZ hand-set all the way around the ring. No plain silver sections. Stone runs the full circumference on both rows. The band sits flush against the engagement ring above it and is sized to stack correctly — the inner curve of both rings is matched at the José Lux workshop so the pair sits without a gap.

Worn alone, the wedding band is a clean double pavé eternity-style band. Worn with the engagement ring, it becomes the lower portion of a wide stone-set setting that reads as one piece. Both options work. The band is made for both.

The Metal and Plating

Both rings are 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity. A three-row pavé shoulder on the engagement ring and a full double pavé band carry significant stone load. The gauge on each ring is sized for what it carries. The settings hold because the metal underneath them is the correct weight.

Each ring gets a rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand at our workshop in Vietnam. Not machine-dipped. The artisans doing this work have been plating silver for years. Hand application gives more even coverage at the pavé rows, the prong bases, and the accent stone positions — the surfaces that matter most on a stone-heavy design like this.

Rhodium is harder than gold and sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. The conservative baseline for this finish is three years of regular daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, many José Lux customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have recorded eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect how long it holds. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.

Warranty and Repairs

Every pavé setting, every accent stone prong, and the center stone mount on both José Lux rings is hand-adjusted by our artisans in Vietnam. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. That’s by design, not luck.

If a stone does come loose or fall out under everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux handles it:

CZ and Swiss CZ pavé and accent stones: Re-setting or replacing any pavé stone or accent stone on either ring is always free. José Lux imports CZ in volume directly from our suppliers. We absorb the cost entirely. This covers the three shoulder rows on the engagement ring and both pavé rows on the wedding band.

Moissanite center stone: If the center stone needs replacement, José Lux charges at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier — never at retail. That’s the lowest possible charge. Re-setting labor is always free.

Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions. Applies to both rings in the set.

Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who hand-set every pavé stone on both rings and hand-plate every band have been doing this work for years — longer than most jewelry brands have been selling online. Every accent stone prong is adjusted by hand. Every pavé position on both rings is set by hand. Every band is plated by hand. This is José Lux’s own workshop, not a third-party factory.

A matched bridal set requires both rings to be made to the same standard — the pavé sizing has to match, the plating has to match, the finish has to match. Ours do, because both pieces come off the same workshop bench. That’s what hand-making a matched set actually means.

Can the wedding band be worn alone?

How long does the plating last?

The rhodium plated white gold finish is hand-applied at our Vietnam workshop — not machine-dipped. Conservative baseline: three years of regular daily wear. In practice, many of our customers come back to re-plate after five years, and we’ve recorded eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate.
