Most pavé bands have one row of stones. This one has three. Here's what that actually means.
I've set a lot of pavé bands at José Lux. Standard pavé is one row of small stones running along the top edge of the band — clean, simple, does the job. Triple row micropavé is something different. Three rows of 1.5mm CZ stones, set tightly across the full surface width of the band, running shoulder to shoulder on both sides. No gaps. No bare metal on top. Just stone across the entire surface from the base of the crown down to where the band narrows at the back. When you see this ring in direct light, the band reads as one continuous surface of white sparkle. That's the point.
The center stone is a 7mm round brilliant Moissanite, GRA certified Color D, Clarity FL, Excellent cut. 1.2ct equivalent, 58 facets. Report number 20388379 — registered to your specific stone, included as a physical certificate with every order. Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide, not a diamond. I won't tell you otherwise. What it has is more fire than diamond, which means more rainbow flashes in direct and natural light. At 7mm on a band this heavily paved, the center stone sits above a platform of sparkle rather than rising from plain metal. The contrast is the design.
The CZ stones on the band are Swiss CZ — 1.5mm, scratch-resistant, set in three tight rows. Not Moissanite. The center stone is the only GRA-certified stone on this ring. The band CZ matches the center stone closely in color, but they are a different material. I want that clear upfront.
About the Band Width, Metal, and Plating
The band on this ring is deliberately wider than a standard pavé band. It has to be. Three rows of 1.5mm stones need enough surface area to sit without crowding. A narrow band would collapse the rows together and the setting would fail. The width is a function of the design, not just an aesthetic choice. It's also what gives this ring its weight on the finger — it sits differently than a thin solitaire band.
The metal is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for strength. Each ring gets a rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand at our Vietnam workshop. Not machine-dipped. Three full rows of micropavé across a wide band is a complex surface to plate evenly — every stone, every channel between stones, every edge. We do it by hand because hand plating covers the details that machine dipping misses. Rhodium is harder than gold and sits as a barrier between the silver and the air, which is why this finish outperforms standard white gold plating.
In practice, the rhodium plated white gold finish typically holds for around three years of regular daily wear before you notice any fading. That said, in my experience tracking customer orders over the years, the reality is often longer — many customers come back to re-plate after five years, and some have recorded eight years before the first re-plate. How long it holds depends on skin chemistry, how often you wear it, and whether you take it off around chemicals. Re-plating is covered under the lifetime warranty, so the ring keeps going as long as you want it to.
Care note: warm water, mild soap, soft cloth, 30 seconds. Dry it completely. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners — with three rows of micropavé, the vibration can work stones loose over time. That's the entire routine.
Certification Included with Every Order
Every ring ships with the full GRA gemological certificate for the Moissanite center stone. Report number 20388379. Color D, Clarity FL, Round Brilliant, 7.0mm, 1.2ct, Excellent cut. Physical certificate — not a card. Same documentation format used in professional gemological assessment worldwide. The report number is registered to your stone.

Warranty and Repairs
Lifetime warranty. Band cracks — I repair it. Center stone loosens — I reset it. A micropavé CZ works loose and falls out — I replace and reset it. Normal wear, always covered. What's not covered: stones you've lost that can't be returned, impact damage, alterations done elsewhere. Anything outside that scope, we fix at cost — with a quote before we start.
Shipping
Free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking goes out the day your order ships. Estimated delivery 7–14 business days. European orders can hit customs delays — I'd rather tell you that now than promise a timeline I can't back up.

Our Workshop
Our workshop is in Vietnam. Every stone in this ring was hand-set there. Every band hand-plated, hand-finished — no machine output. The artisans who made yours specialize in silver. That's all they do.

Your Ring Arrives Protected — Two-Layer Box Packaging, USPS Insured

Your ring ships in two layers of packaging. The inner ring box holds the ring securely in place. The outer box protects everything during transit. On top of that, the ring itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — so there's no movement, no impact damage, nothing shifts in transit.
Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. The only situation we can't guarantee is an address entered incorrectly at checkout. Even then, we refund you in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That's the José Lux standard.
FAQ SECTION
What makes triple row micropavé different from standard pavé?
Standard pavé is one row of small stones along the top edge of the band. Triple row micropavé is three rows of 1.5mm stones set across the full surface width of the band — no bare metal showing on top, both shoulders covered completely. The band reads as one continuous surface of stones rather than a line of accent stones beside a plain band.
Are the band stones Moissanite?
No. The band stones are Swiss CZ — 1.5mm cubic zirconia, scratch-resistant. The center stone is the only Moissanite on this ring — 7mm, 1.2ct, GRA certified Color D-FL, report number 20388379. CZ and Moissanite are different materials with different hardness. I want that clear before you order.
Why is the band wider than a standard ring?
Three rows of 1.5mm stones need enough surface width to sit properly without crowding. A narrow band can't hold this configuration — the rows would collapse together and the setting would fail. The wider band is a structural requirement of the triple row design. It also gives the ring more presence on the finger than a thin band would.
What is a rhodium plated white gold finish, and how long does it last?
Rhodium is a platinum-group metal — harder than gold, naturally white, and resistant to tarnish. Applied over 925 sterling silver, a rhodium plated white gold finish creates a bright, durable surface that's noticeably longer-lasting than standard white gold plating. On a wide triple row band, we apply it by hand at our Vietnam workshop to ensure even coverage across every stone, every channel, every edge.
In terms of durability: the finish typically holds around three years of regular daily wear. But in practice, many of our customers come back to re-plate after five years, and some have gone eight years before they noticed any fading. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and exposure to chemicals all affect how long it lasts. Re-plating is covered under the lifetime warranty — so whenever the time comes, we take care of it.
Does sterling silver tarnish?
Yes. 925 sterling silver reacts with air, moisture, and skin chemistry over time — that's chemistry, not a defect. The rhodium plated white gold finish slows this down significantly. When the plating eventually wears, cleaning is straightforward: warm water, a drop of mild soap, 30 seconds with a soft cloth, dry it immediately.
How do I clean a triple row micropavé band?
Warm water, a drop of mild soap, soft cloth, 30 seconds. Dry it completely. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners — with three rows of micropavé, the vibration can slowly work stones loose over time. That's the whole routine. No complicated products needed.
What does the lifetime warranty cover on this design?
Band repairs, center stone resetting, and micropavé CZ replacement if stones fall out from normal wear. Lost stones that can't be returned aren't covered. Accidental damage and third-party alterations aren't covered. Anything outside the warranty scope, we still repair — at cost, with a quote first.
How do I find my ring size?
We make every ring to your size — custom fit. Use our sizing guide and 60-second measurement video to get your measurement right before ordering. If you're between sizes or unsure, message us first — it's easier to get it right upfront than to adjust later.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at our workshop in Vietnam. The artisans who set the micropavé on this band have been doing this work longer than I have. Three full rows across a wide band is time-consuming to set correctly. Every stone individually placed and checked. Rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand. That shows in how the band holds up over time.
