Every stone in all three rows is individually hand-set at our Vietnam workshop. No machine pressing. No shortcuts on the setting work.

What the three-row pavé does on the finger: it widens the band significantly, it extends the sparkle from the center stone down both sides of the ring, and it gives the whole piece a substantial presence that a single-row band can’t match. The center Moissanite sits elevated above that field of pavé, which makes the stone read even larger. In direct light, the whole ring moves — center stone fire and pavé flash working together across the full width of the band.

The Center Stone — 8.2mm Moissanite, 2CT Equivalent

The center stone is GRA-certified Moissanite — Color D, Clarity FL. Colorless and internally flawless. 8.2mm round brilliant cut, 58 facets, 2ct equivalent weight. Each stone ships with its own GRA certificate carrying a unique report ID traceable to your specific stone. Physical certificate, not a card.

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a diamond and we won’t tell you it is. It has its own optical properties — more fire than diamond, which means more rainbow dispersion in directional light. On a design this wide, with a stone this size elevated above three rows of pavé, that fire multiplies. The center stone throws color. The pavé band catches and scatters it. In direct sunlight, this ring does not sit quietly on the finger.

The three pavé rows are all Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia. Round brilliant cut, individually hand-set into the band. Their job is to frame the Moissanite and carry the sparkle across the full shoulder width. The Moissanite is the certified center stone. The Swiss CZ is the pavé architecture that surrounds it.

The Metal and Plating

The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity. A three-row pavé band carries a significant stone load. The gauge has to be right — too thin and the band flexes under wear, which works pavé settings loose over time. José Lux uses a properly gauged silver blank for this design. The band holds its shape because the metal is correct for the stone load it carries.

Each ring gets a rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand at our workshop in Vietnam. Not machine-dipped. The artisans doing this work have been plating silver for years. The result is more even coverage at the detail points — across all three pavé rows, along the prong edges, and at the transition between the solitaire mount and the band shoulders where the geometry changes.

Rhodium is harder than gold and sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. The conservative baseline for this finish is three years of regular daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, many José Lux customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have recorded eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect how long it holds. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.

Every ring ships with the full GRA gemological certificate for the Moissanite center stone. Warranty and Repairs

Every pavé setting and every prong on a José Lux ring is adjusted by hand at our Vietnam workshop. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. That’s by design, not luck.

If a stone does come loose or fall out under everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux handles it:

CZ and Swiss CZ pavé stones: Re-setting or replacing pavé stones is always free. José Lux imports CZ in volume directly from our suppliers. We absorb the cost entirely. This covers all three pavé rows on both shoulders.

Moissanite center stone: If the center stone needs replacement, José Lux charges at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier — never at retail. That’s the lowest possible charge. Re-setting labor is always free.

Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.

Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who hand-set your pavé stones and hand-plate your band have been doing this work for years — longer than most jewelry brands have been selling online. Every stone in every pavé row is set individually by hand. Every band is plated by hand. This is José Lux’s own workshop, not a third-party factory.

The Triple Row Pavé is one of the more stone-intensive designs we make. Three full rows of round pavé down both shoulders means a lot of individual stone positions to set correctly. That’s not a selling point — it’s just the reality of what hand-setting this band requires. We’ve done it enough times to know what makes it hold.

What are the pavé band stones made of?
