The Rope Chain

The chain included with this pendant is a rope chain — twisted strands of 925 sterling silver links that spiral around each other. Rhodium re-plating: always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit. The finish wears over years of daily wear — that's expected. When it does, we re-plate at no charge.

Clasp: if the lobster claw fails under normal daily wear — no impacts, no bending from force — José Lux repairs or replaces it.

What's not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — pendant dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or with visible prong deformation from a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually and communicates honestly about what's observed. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we quote the cost clearly before any work is done.

Getting the stone coverage even across both faces, the border row aligned, the bail set to the same density as the body — that's not machine work. It's bench work, done stone by stone.
