The Two-Tone Finish — White Silver and Gold

The Box Chain

The Metal and Plating

The pendant and chain are 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural strength. The flared-arm cross frame, the Jesus face sculpt, the Crown of Thorns element, and the box chain are all 925. The two finish materials — rhodium white on the cross and chain, gold on the crown — are applied over the same 925 silver base.

The cross, face, and chain receive rhodium plated white gold finish applied by hand at our Vietnam workshop. Not machine-dipped. The Crown of Thorns receives gold plate applied separately before being fitted to the cross. Care

The pendant has two finish zones that require the same basic care: avoid prolonged chlorine, bleach, strong household cleaners, and perfume applied directly to either the cross face or the gold crown. These accelerate finish wear on both rhodium and gold.
