We've been setting stones at our Vietnam workshop for over a decade, and this Full Micropave Square Halo Ring is one of the densest, most detailed builds we make. At the center sits a 7.0mm round brilliant Moissanite, raised on four prongs inside a square pavé halo. From there, almost nothing is left bare. Both shoulders step out into flat, squared panels, and every one of those panels is filled edge to edge with fine pavé, split into a windowpane grid by polished vertical bars. Two more pavé rows run the full length of the shank on either side of the face.

"Full micropave" describes exactly what you're looking at: instead of a few larger stones, the halo, the shoulders, and the shank rows are built from a high count of small, identically cut CZ, set stone-to-stone so the surface reads as one continuous field of light rather than individual settings. It's a slower, more exacting build than a halo with fewer, larger stones — every one of those small stones has to sit at the same height and the same spacing, or the grid reads uneven.

This is a mixed-stone build, and we say that plainly. The center stone is Moissanite, graded and documented in its own right. The halo, the windowpane shoulder panels, and the shank pavé are all Swiss-certified CZ. We don't mix stone types to cut cost — a micropave field this dense needs a volume of matched small stones that only makes sense in CZ, and Swiss CZ's tighter cut tolerances are what keep a grid this fine looking level from edge to edge. The center is where the size and the GRA documentation go.

Turn the ring over and the gallery underneath is cut open into an ornamental pierced lattice, not left as a solid plate. On a ring with this much metal and stone across the top, that open structure does real work: it pulls mass out from directly under your finger, which means less flat surface pressing into the skin and less of the pinching, fatigued feeling a solid-backed wide ring can cause over a long day of wear. It's what makes a fully paved halo ring comfortable enough for daily wear, not just for photos.

The Center Stone — 7.0mm Moissanite, Color D-FL

The center stone is a 7.0mm round brilliant Moissanite — approximately 1.25 carats diamond equivalent weight, the standard round brilliant sizing at that diameter. Color D, Colorless. Clarity FL, Internally Flawless. 58 facets. This is the same colorless D-FL grade we use across every José Lux Moissanite piece.

It sits raised on four prongs at the center of the square halo, lifted just above the pavé field around it so light reaches the stone from the side as well as from above. On a ring this densely set with smaller accent stones, the center still has to read as the focal point — height and fire are how it holds that role.

Moissanite is not a diamond. We say that plainly: it's its own material, lab-created silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale, with a higher refractive index and more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light — than diamond has. Under any overhead light, the center throws color while the CZ pavé around it throws a flatter, brighter white sparkle. Two distinct kinds of light on one ring.

Every center stone ships with its own GRA certificate: a physical document, a unique report ID laser-inscribed on the girdle, carat weight equivalent and dimensions to 0.01mm, traceable to your batch at our Hong Kong supplier. Not a card. Not a QR code.

The Halo & Micropave — Swiss CZ

The square halo framing the center stone, the windowpane panels across both shoulders, and the pavé rows running the length of the shank are all Swiss-certified CZ — premium grade, imported in certified batches from Switzerland, not standard commodity CZ. Full micropave work is unforgiving: every stone in the field has to sit at the same height and the same spacing against its neighbors, or the grid reads uneven the moment light crosses it at an angle. Swiss CZ's tighter cut tolerances are what let us hold that line across this many stones.

The polished vertical bars dividing each shoulder into windowpane sections aren't just decorative — they break the pavé field into panels we can set and check individually, so any unevenness shows up at the bench, before plating, not after the ring is on someone's hand.

We use CZ for the halo and pavé for a practical reason, not a cost one: a field this dense needs a large volume of identically cut small stones, and Swiss CZ gives us that consistency at the scale this build requires. The center stone is where the size and the GRA documentation go. The halo and pavé are there to frame it.

The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver

The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity, with the 925 hallmark stamped inside. A fully paved square halo puts a high stone count and a lot of prong work across a wide surface, and the squared shoulder panels have to hold crisp, flat faces while the windowpane dividers stay straight and even. We use a heavier silver blank on this build for exactly that reason — the geometry only holds if the metal underneath it does.

The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish

Every ring comes out of our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish, hand-applied by electroplating. Not machine-dipped. On a full micropave build, that matters: there are hundreds of small surfaces here — prong tips between every pavé stone, the polished window dividers, the pierced gallery underneath. Hand plating lets us check coverage across all of them. A machine dip tends to pool in some corners and skip others.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath and sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline for this finish: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have gone eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect how long it holds.

Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit. No conditions. Send the ring in, we repolish and recoat, we return it at no charge.

Comfort — The Gallery Underneath

A ring this fully covered in stone usually carries a lot of solid metal directly under the head, and that's what leaves a deep pressure line and a tired finger by the end of the day. We build this ring differently: the gallery underneath the halo is cut open into an ornamental pierced lattice instead of a solid plate.

That open structure pulls metal mass out from directly under your finger. Less flat surface stays in constant contact with the skin, which means less of the pinching, fatigued feeling a solid-backed wide ring can cause over a long day of wear. It's a functional detail as much as a decorative one, and it's what lets a fully paved square halo like this one work as an everyday ring.

Certification

The center stone ships with its own GRA gemological certificate: Color D (Colorless), Clarity FL (Internally Flawless), Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets, carat weight equivalent and dimensions to 0.01mm, with a unique report number laser-inscribed on the stone and traceable to your specific batch. The Swiss CZ halo and pavé ship with a material authenticity card confirming Swiss origin and lab-created status.

Warranty and Repairs

Every prong on this ring — the four holding the center stone and every stone across the halo, windowpane shoulders, and shank pavé — is hand-set at our Vietnam workshop, and the center stone is push-tested at 5 to 8 pounds before it ships. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare — that's a result of how the stones are set, not luck.

This is a lifetime warranty. Not a one-year policy. Not two years. For as long as you own the ring.

If a stone comes loose or falls out under everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux handles it:

CZ halo or pavé stone reset: Always free. No charge, no conditions — we import these stones in volume.

Moissanite center stone re-setting or replacement: Resetting labor is always free. If the stone is physically lost, replacement is charged at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier only — never at retail.

Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.

What's not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we fix it at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.

Shipping

Free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days to the US, 10–18 business days to Europe — customs adds time on that side, and we say so rather than promise a window we can't control.

Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged, or an incorrect address at checkout — you're covered in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.

Your ring ships in two layers: the inner ring box holds the ring securely with a shock-absorbing layer underneath. The outer box protects everything in transit. Nothing shifts. Nothing impacts.

Our Workshop

Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who set your center stone, build the square halo, lay the windowpane pavé panels, and hand-plate the finish have been doing this work for years. Some have over 30 years of bench experience. Every prong is adjusted by hand. Every pavé row is checked level against its polished divider before plating. Every band is plated by hand, checked by the person who plated it.

A full micropave build changes what the bench has to do — there's no busy texture or larger stone to hide an uneven row behind, and a windowpane panel with one stone sitting high is visible from across a table. We check the field under magnification before plating and push-test every center stone at 5 to 8 pounds before it leaves the bench, the same standard we hold for every José Lux piece, dense build or simple one.

FAQ

What does "full micropave" mean on this ring?

It means the halo, both shoulder panels, and the rows running down the shank are all set with a high count of small, closely matched stones rather than a few larger ones, so the surface reads as one continuous field of light. On this ring, that field is split into a windowpane grid across each shoulder by polished vertical dividers.

Is every stone on this ring Moissanite?

No, and we want to be clear about that. The center stone is a 7.0mm Color D-FL Moissanite with its own GRA certificate. Every other stone — the square halo, the windowpane shoulder panels, and the shank pavé — is Swiss-certified CZ. We're upfront about the split because a field this dense only makes sense at the volume and consistency Swiss CZ can supply.

What size is the center stone?

7.0mm in diameter, round brilliant cut, 58 facets. That's approximately 1.25 carats diamond equivalent weight, the industry-standard way Moissanite is rated. It means the stone is the same visible size as a 1.25-carat round diamond. Moissanite is less dense than diamond, so the actual physical weight is a little lower.

What is Moissanite and how does it differ from diamond?

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale. It is not a diamond and we won't describe it as one. It has a higher refractive index than diamond, which means more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light. If you want diamond, buy diamond. If you want a lab-created stone with strong fire and GRA documentation, this is a solid choice.

What's the pierced gallery underneath, and does it actually help with comfort?

Yes. The gallery under the halo is cut open into an ornamental lattice rather than left as a solid plate. On a ring with this much stone and metal across the top, that open structure pulls mass out from directly under your finger — less flat surface in constant contact with the skin, which means less of the pinching or fatigued feeling a solid-backed wide ring can cause over a full day of wear. It's a functional detail as much as a decorative one.

How does the ring look in person and on the hand?

Dense and bright. The square halo anchors the center stone, the windowpane shoulders carry the sparkle out to both edges of the band, and the shank rows keep the light going all the way around. In direct light, the Moissanite throws strong rainbow flashes at the center while the CZ halo and micropave throw a flatter, brighter white sparkle around it — two distinct kinds of light on one ring. This is not a subtle ring.

How long does the rhodium plating last?

Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have reported eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and exposure to chemicals all affect the timeline. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.

What does the warranty cover?

This is a lifetime warranty, not a one- or two-year policy. Settings are built to hold, and stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. CZ halo and pavé stone resets are always free. If the Moissanite center stone is lost outright, replacement is charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only, never at retail — resetting labor stays free either way. Rhodium re-plating is always free. What's not covered: impact damage — visible deformation of the band, the halo, or a prong seat from a drop or hard blow. José Lux inspects every case individually and communicates honestly.

How does sizing work?

This ring is made to order and sized specifically to your measurement. We use our own José Lux size chart, provided at checkout. There are no standard off-the-shelf sizes. You measure using our chart, submit your size when ordering, and we build the ring to that measurement at our Vietnam workshop.

How does shipping work?

Free USPS shipping to the United States and Europe. Tracking is sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days to the US, 10–18 business days to Europe — customs adds time on that side, and we're upfront about that rather than promise a window we can't control. Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, including an incorrect delivery address, a full refund is issued.

Where is this ring made?

Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. The artisans setting your center stone, building the halo, and laying the windowpane pavé panels have been doing bench work for years — some for decades. The workshop is ours, not a third-party factory. That's how we control the setting quality and the finish on every piece that ships.

José Lux Buying Guide 5 FAQs

1. Is it safe to order online at José Lux?

Yes. Our store runs on Shopify, one of the world's most trusted ecommerce platforms. Shopify protects your personal information and your payment with SSL encryption and a secure checkout, so your details stay private and your payment is safe.

2. Do Moissanite and Cubic Zirconia Jewelry Come with GRA Certification?

The main Moissanite stone in each José Lux piece ships with its own GRA (Gemological Research Association) certificate. The report records the stone's color, clarity, cut, and size, and carries a unique report number traceable to that specific stone. Smaller Moissanite accent stones are the same material, hand-matched to the main stone, but they are not certified individually.

Swiss CZ pieces don't come with a GRA certificate. Instead, our CZ is imported with Swiss lot records, so every batch is documented.

3. Is José Lux Jewelry Quality and Accurately Described?

Every José Lux piece is handcrafted to order at our own workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, in 925 sterling silver or solid 10K and 14K gold. Before it ships, we check every prong and stone setting by hand, and each gold piece is tested for karat and stamped with its hallmark. Each listing states the metal, karat, and stones, and your piece is made to match. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen. If what arrives isn't what you ordered, we'll give you a full refund.

4. Is José Lux Jewelry Shipping Safe?

Yes. Your piece is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer, set inside a jewelry box, and packed in an outer protective box, so it doesn't shift or get scratched in transit. Every shipment is covered by 100% USPS jewelry insurance. If your order is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit, we cover it. We email your tracking number the day your order ships, so you can follow it all the way to your door.

5. How long does it take to receive my order?

Every piece is made to order, so your total time is production plus shipping, counted in business days.

Silver jewelry: Production takes 3–4 business days. Shipping via USPS takes 7–14 business days to the US, 10–15 to Europe, 7–12 to Asia, and 10–20 to other countries. From order to your door, that's about 10–18 business days to the US, 13–19 to Europe, 10–16 to Asia, and 13–24 to other countries.

Gold jewelry (10K and 14K): Gold ships to the United States only. Production takes 6–8 business days and shipping takes 5–7, so about 11–15 business days from order to your door.

We email your tracking number the day your order ships. Customs processing can add time on international orders.
