The center of this ring is a color decision. The main stone is an 8.0mm round brilliant Moissanite at 2ct — GRA certified, Turquoise green. Not colorless. Not green-tinted. A full, saturated turquoise green that shifts under different light sources and does not sit still in any of them. That stone is the reason this ring exists, and everything around it is built to give it the right setting without competing with it.

The halo is two concentric square frames. The outer frame — the one visible from across the room — carries one row of round brilliant Swiss CZ running all four sides. The inner frame is a clean polished metal channel, no stones, sitting between the outer CZ row and the center stone platform. That gap between the two frames is not an oversight. It is the architectural detail that gives the center stone room to read as its own element inside a layered surround. Two squares, two different materials, one platform.

The shoulder runs five rows. Two rows of round brilliant Swiss CZ above the baguette center row, two rows below it. The baguette row runs the full shoulder width — step-cut rectangles flush in a channel, producing clean light return distinct from the round CZ flanking it. The shank is wide and polished, no stone coverage below the shoulder. From the top, the turquoise stone reads center. From the side, the five-row shoulder and double-frame halo profile are both clear.

The Center Stone — GRA Turquoise Green Moissanite

The center stone is an 8.0mm round brilliant Moissanite, 2ct, GRA certified. Color: Turquoise. Clarity FL. 58 facets. Four-prong set, each prong hand-tensioned at our Vietnam workshop.

GRA documents this stone as Turquoise — a saturated blue-green that is neither purely blue nor purely green. In natural daylight it reads as a cool teal. Under warm indoor light it shifts toward a deeper green. In directional light it fires — Moissanite has a higher refractive index than diamond, which means more color dispersion per facet. On a 2ct stone in turquoise, that fire has color behind it. It reads from across a room and changes as you move.

Moissanite is not a diamond, not a natural emerald, not a natural sapphire. It is lab-created silicon carbide. The color is intrinsic to the crystal structure — not a coating, not a treatment, not a dye. It does not fade, chip, or peel. The GRA certificate documents everything: Turquoise color grade, FL clarity, Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets, 2ct. Physical certificate ships with your order — unique report ID, traceable to your specific batch.

The Double Square Frame — CZ Outer, Polished Metal Inner

The halo on this ring is two square frames, not one. Looking at the ring face-on, you see the outer frame first: one row of round brilliant Swiss CZ running the four straight sides of a square perimeter around the center platform. That is the CZ frame — the one that catches light and defines the outer edge of the halo.

Between that CZ outer frame and the center Moissanite platform sits the inner frame: a square channel of polished rhodium-plated silver with no stones. No CZ. No pavé. Just clean metal. That inner frame is visible in the photos as a flat, bright border directly around the center stone — a deliberate space between the outer stone row and the raised platform.

Why two frames instead of one? The polished inner frame gives the turquoise center stone visual separation from the white CZ outer row. Without that gap, the center stone and the halo CZ compete in the same visual plane. With it, the eye reads the green Moissanite as a distinct, elevated element surrounded by its own clean border — and then the CZ outer frame as the second ring around it. The layering is intentional. It shows clearly in the front-view and three-quarter photos.

Setting the outer CZ row on a square frame requires all four sides to be level at the same depth and height. The corners have to close cleanly. Our Vietnam workshop artisans set each side individually and verify all four before the ring moves to shoulder assembly.

The Shoulder — Five Rows, Baguette Center

Each shoulder runs five rows from the halo frame edge to the polished shank. Two rows of round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé at the top. One row of baguette-cut Swiss CZ in a flush channel at the center. Two rows of round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé at the bottom.

The baguette center row runs the full shoulder width — wall to wall, rectangles seated flush between two metal rails. Baguette cuts are step-cut: parallel rectangular facets that produce clean, broad reflections rather than the point-source sparkle of round brilliants. Between four rows of round CZ, the baguette row reads as a structured horizontal band of mirror-like light. From the side, the five-row profile is visible: pavé, pavé, baguette, pavé, pavé.

All shoulder stones — round and baguette — are premium-grade Swiss-certified CZ imported in documented lots from the Swiss source to our Vietnam bench. Not standard CZ. Each baguette seat depth is verified before the channel rail closes. Each round brilliant is individually prong-set by hand and checked under direct light before the ring moves to finishing.

The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver

925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural strength. The blank on this build is gauged for the load of a raised solitaire platform, a double-frame square halo, and five-row shoulders on both sides. The inner frame of the halo — the polished metal channel between the CZ outer row and the center mount — is part of the silver structure. It has to stay flat and level under daily wear. The gauge carries that. The inner band carries a crosshatch grid openwork pattern — visible in the underside photo — which reduces weight while maintaining wall strength.

The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold

Every ring leaves our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish applied by hand. Not machine-dipped. Hand-plated and checked by the same artisans who set the stones. The polished inner halo frame depends on even rhodium coverage to read as a clean, bright border. That is one of the points where machine-dipping consistently leaves thin spots or uneven buildup. We hand-plate to control it.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath. Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to replate after five years. Some have reported eight years before the first replate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all factor in.

Rhodium replating at the José Lux workshop is always free. No time limit. No conditions. Send the ring in, we repolish and recoat, we return it at no charge.

Certification

The Moissanite center stone ships with the full GRA gemological certificate — Color: Turquoise, Clarity FL (Internally Flawless), Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets. Unique report number traceable to your specific batch. Physical certificate. Same documentation format used in the professional gemological trade.

The Swiss-certified CZ — outer halo row, baguette channel, and all four shoulder pavé rows — is sourced under a verified supplier contract with lot documentation from import to bench. That documentation stays at the José Lux workshop.

Warranty and Repairs

Every prong on a José Lux ring is tensioned by hand before it ships. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. If it happens — no evidence of impact — here is how it works:

Moissanite center stone re-setting or replacement: charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only. Never at retail. Re-setting labor is always free.

Swiss CZ stone re-setting — outer halo row, baguette channel, or any shoulder pavé row: always free at the José Lux workshop. No charge, no conditions. We import these in volume. Reset labor is free. Stone cost is free.

Rhodium re-plating: always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.

What is not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible band deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we fix it at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.

Shipping

Free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — José Lux states that honestly rather than promise a window we cannot control.

Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged, or an incorrect address at checkout — you are covered in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.

Your ring ships in two layers: the inner ring box holds the ring securely with a shock-absorbing layer underneath. The outer box protects everything in transit. Nothing shifts. Nothing impacts.

Our Workshop

Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who set your GRA Turquoise Green Moissanite solitaire, build the outer CZ square frame around it corner to corner, finish the polished inner metal frame between the CZ row and the center mount, press the baguette channel across each shoulder, set all four round pavé rows, and hand-plate the rhodium finish have been doing this work for years. Some have over 30 years of bench experience. Every center prong is hand-tensioned. Every halo stone is individually verified. Every baguette seat depth is checked before the channel closes. Every pavé row passes visual inspection before the ring ships.

The double square frame is the detail that takes the most bench time on this build. The outer CZ row has to be level on all four sides — same stone depth, same height, corners that close cleanly. The inner polished metal frame has to be flat and even — it reads directly under the center stone in every photo and in every room. If the inner frame is off, the eye catches it immediately. The rhodium coat on that inner frame has to be consistent — that is why we hand-plate rather than machine-dip. We have done enough of these to know where the tolerance is. The rings that leave our workshop are within it.

Your Ring Arrives Protected — Two-Layer Box Packaging, USPS Insured

Your ring ships in two layers of packaging. The inner ring box holds the ring securely in place. The outer box protects everything during transit. On top of that, the ring itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — so there's no movement, no impact damage, nothing shifts in transit.

Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. Even if an address was entered incorrectly at checkout, José Lux refunds you in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That's the José Lux standard.

FAQ

What is the center stone on this ring?

A single GRA-certified Moissanite — 8.0mm, round brilliant, 2ct. Color: Turquoise, Clarity FL, 58 facets. Four-prong set on a raised platform inside the double square frame, each prong hand-tensioned at our Vietnam workshop. The physical GRA certificate ships with your order — unique report ID, traceable to your specific batch.

What exactly is 'Turquoise' as a Moissanite color?

GRA documents this stone's color as Turquoise — a saturated blue-green. Not a pale tint. A full color that sits between blue and green and shifts depending on the light source. In natural daylight it reads as a cool teal-green. Under warm indoor light it shifts toward deeper green. In directional light it fires — Moissanite's high refractive index means color dispersion is visible in the stone, which on a colored Moissanite means you see the color moving, not just sitting there. The color is intrinsic to the crystal structure. It does not fade or change over time.

Why are there two square frames instead of one halo?

The outer frame carries the CZ — one row of round brilliant Swiss CZ running four straight sides around the center mount. The inner frame is polished metal, no stones — a clean rhodium-plated silver channel sitting between the outer CZ row and the raised center platform. That gap between the two frames gives the turquoise Moissanite visual separation from the white CZ row. The green stone reads as its own elevated element inside a clean border, with the CZ outer ring around that. Without the inner metal frame, the stone and the halo CZ sit in the same visual plane. With it, they occupy distinct spaces. That is why the inner frame has no stones.

Is this the same as a natural emerald or turquoise gemstone?

No. GRA Turquoise Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a natural emerald, not a turquoise gemstone, not a sapphire. It is its own material — the Turquoise color is part of the crystal structure, not a coating or treatment applied to a colorless stone. Moissanite has a higher refractive index than natural emerald, which means more fire in directional light. The two stones look different. If you want a natural gemstone, buy one. If you want a lab-created stone with GRA documentation, strong color, and optical performance at this size, this is a different choice worth knowing about on its own terms.

How many rows are on the shoulder and what are they?

Five rows per shoulder. From the top: round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé, round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé, baguette-cut Swiss CZ in a flush channel, round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé, round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé. The baguette channel sits at the center of the five-row stack. Four round CZ rows flank it, two above and two below. From the side, all five rows are readable and distinct.

What does the ring look like in person?

The green reads first. At 8.0mm and 2ct, the turquoise Moissanite is the dominant visual on the ring — and in any directional light, the color fires. The double square frame gives the center stone a defined architectural surround: the polished inner border, then the CZ outer row. The five-row shoulder reads clearly from the side. The shank is wide and polished with no stone coverage. From the top, the color is the story. From the side, the structure is the story. This ring does not read quietly.

How long does the rhodium plating last?

Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any change is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to replate after five years. Some have reported eight years before the first replate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect the timeline. The polished inner halo frame is one of the areas where we pay closest attention during hand-plating — it has to stay bright and even. Replating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.

What does the warranty cover?

If the Moissanite center stone comes loose under normal daily wear — no impact — replacement is charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only, never retail, and re-setting labor is free. If any Swiss CZ stone comes loose — outer halo row, baguette channel, or any of the four shoulder pavé rows — the reset is completely free. No charge, no conditions. Rhodium replating is free for life. What is not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact, visible band deformation from a drop or hard blow. We inspect every case and communicate clearly. If a repair falls outside warranty, we still fix it at cost with a clear quote first.

How does sizing work?

This ring is made to order, sized to your exact measurement. We use our own José Lux size chart, provided at checkout. No off-the-shelf standard sizes. You measure using our chart, submit your size when ordering, and we build the ring to that measurement at our Vietnam workshop.

How does shipping work?

Free USPS shipping to the United States and Europe. Tracking is sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — we state that honestly rather than promising a window we cannot control. Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, a full refund is issued. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.

Where is this ring made?

Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. The artisans setting your Turquoise Green Moissanite solitaire, building the CZ outer square frame and the polished metal inner frame, pressing the baguette channel across each shoulder, setting all four round pavé rows, and hand-plating the finish have been on the bench for years. Some have over 30 years of experience. The workshop is ours — not a third-party factory. That is how we control the halo geometry, frame alignment, channel flush, and finish quality on every piece that ships.
