There are two things happening at the center of this ring before the shoulder even starts. First, the stone: a 7.0mm round brilliant Green Moissanite at 1.2ct — a deep, saturated green that does not read the same twice in different light. Second, the halo — not one frame, but two running parallel to each other around the center mount. The outer frame is baguette-cut Swiss CZ: rectangular step-cut stones, channel-set, running all four sides of a square. The inner frame runs directly inside that, tight to the center platform: round brilliant Swiss CZ, one row, four sides. Two different cuts, two different light returns, one square double frame. That structure is visible in every photo of this ring.

The shoulder runs five rows from the double halo frame to the polished shank. Two rows of round brilliant Swiss CZ above the center channel, one row of baguette-cut CZ in the middle, two rows of round brilliant CZ below. The baguette center row runs wall to wall across the full shoulder width. From the side, the five rows are distinct — round rail, round, baguette, round, round rail. The shank below is wide and polished with no stone coverage.
We've set a lot of double-frame halos at our Vietnam workshop. The challenge is not the stone count — it's keeping both rows level relative to each other and to the center mount on all four sides simultaneously. If either row reads off at any corner, you see it. That is the bench work that earns the most time on this build.
The Center Stone — GRA Green Moissanite
The center stone is a 7.0mm round brilliant Moissanite, 1.2ct, GRA certified. Clarity FL. 58 facets. Four-prong set, each prong hand-tensioned at our Vietnam workshop.
The color is green — a dark, saturated green. Not a pale tint, not colorless with a green hint. Under natural daylight it reads as a deep forest green. Under warm indoor light it picks up more depth. In directional light — a lamp, sunlight through a window, overhead fixtures — Moissanite fires. Higher refractive index than diamond means more color dispersion per facet. On a green stone at 1.2ct, that fire has color behind it. The stone moves when you move.

Moissanite is not a diamond, not a natural emerald. It is lab-created silicon carbide. The green color is intrinsic to the crystal structure — not a coating, not a treatment. It does not fade, chip, or peel. The GRA certificate documents the stone's color grade, clarity (FL), cut (Round Brilliant), and carat weight. Physical certificate ships with your order — unique report ID, traceable to your specific batch.
The Dual Square Halo — Baguette Outer Frame, Round Brilliant Inner Frame
Two square frames run parallel around the center Moissanite platform. They sit side by side, each running all four sides, both visible from the front.
The outer frame is baguette-cut Swiss CZ — rectangular stones, step-cut, channel-set flush along each side of the square. Four sides of baguette, corners that close cleanly. Baguette cuts are step-cut: parallel rectangular facets that produce broad, clean reflections rather than sparkle. The outer baguette frame reads as a defined rectangular border of structured light around the center.
The inner frame runs directly inside the baguette row, tight to the center platform: one row of round brilliant Swiss CZ, micro-pavé set, running all four sides of the square. Round brilliant CZ produces sparkle — point-source light return. The inner round row adds a ring of sparkle between the green center stone and the structured baguette outer frame.
From the front, the center green Moissanite sits inside a round sparkle frame, which sits inside a baguette rectangular frame. Three distinct zones of visual material, reading outward from the stone. The dual frame is the architectural detail that gives this ring its character.
Setting both frames correctly on all four sides is demanding. The baguette outer row has to be flush — every stone at the same height, every corner closed tight. The round inner row has to be level and consistent against the center mount on all four sides. Both rows have to read clean relative to each other. Our artisans set each side independently and verify the full frame before the ring moves to shoulder assembly.
The Shoulder — Five Rows, Baguette Channel Center
Each shoulder extends five rows from the halo frame edge to the polished shank. The layout from top rail to bottom: round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé, round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé, baguette-cut Swiss CZ in a flush channel, round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé, round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé. Four round rows, one baguette channel in the center.

The baguette center row runs the full width of the shoulder — wall to wall, rectangular stones seated flush between two metal rails. It carries the same step-cut geometry as the outer halo frame, giving the shoulder a horizontal stripe of structured light through the middle of the four round CZ rows. From the side, all five rows are visible and distinct: round rail, round, baguette, round, round rail.
All shoulder stones — round and baguette — are premium-grade Swiss-certified CZ imported in documented lots from the Swiss source to our Vietnam bench. Not standard CZ. Every baguette seat depth is verified before the channel rail closes. Every round brilliant is individually prong-set by hand and checked under direct light before the ring moves to finishing.
The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver
925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural strength. The blank on this build is gauged for the load of a raised solitaire platform, a dual-frame square halo, and five-row shoulders on both sides. The inner band carries a floral circle openwork pattern — visible in the underside photo — which reduces weight while maintaining wall strength throughout the shank. The shank face itself is polished and clean — no stone coverage below the shoulder.

The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold
Every ring leaves our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish applied by hand. Not machine-dipped. Hand-plated and checked by the same artisans who set the stones. Even coverage across the center prong tips, both halo frames — baguette outer and round inner — all five shoulder rows, and the polished shank surface. Machine-dipping leaves thin spots at the frame edges and channel rails. We hand-plate to control that.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath. Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to replate after five years. Some have reported eight years of daily wear before the first replate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all factor in.
Rhodium replating at the José Lux workshop is always free. No time limit. No conditions. Send the ring in, we repolish and recoat, we return it at no charge.
Certification
The Moissanite center stone ships with the full GRA gemological certificate — green color grade, Clarity FL (Internally Flawless), Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets. Unique report number traceable to your specific batch. Physical certificate. Same documentation format used in the professional gemological trade.

The Swiss-certified CZ — both halo frames and all five shoulder rows — is sourced under a verified supplier contract with lot documentation from import to bench. That documentation stays at the José Lux workshop.
Warranty and Repairs
Every prong on a José Lux ring is tensioned by hand before it ships. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. If it happens — no evidence of impact — here is how it works:
Moissanite center stone re-setting or replacement: charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only. Never at retail. Re-setting labor is always free.
Swiss CZ stone re-setting — baguette outer halo frame, round inner halo frame, or any of the five shoulder rows: always free at the José Lux workshop. No charge, no conditions. We import these in volume. Reset labor is free. Stone cost is free.
Rhodium re-plating: always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.
What is not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible band deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we fix it at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.
Shipping
Free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — José Lux states that honestly rather than promise a window we cannot control.
Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged, or an incorrect address at checkout — you are covered in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.
Your ring ships in two layers: the inner ring box holds the ring securely with a shock-absorbing layer underneath. The outer box protects everything in transit. Nothing shifts. Nothing impacts.

Our Workshop
Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who set your GRA Green Moissanite solitaire, build the baguette outer square frame around it corner to corner, set the round brilliant inner square frame tight to the center mount, press the baguette channel across each shoulder, run all four round pavé rows, and hand-plate the rhodium finish have been doing this work for years. Some have over 30 years of bench experience. Every center prong is hand-tensioned. Every halo stone on both frames is individually verified. Every baguette seat depth is checked before the channel closes. Every pavé row passes visual inspection under direct light before the ring ships.
The dual square halo is where this build takes the most bench time. Two different setting types — baguette channel and round micro-pavé — running all four sides of two parallel square frames. The baguette outer frame has to be flush across all four sides, corners closed. The round inner frame has to be level on all four sides, consistent against the center mount. Both frames have to read clean relative to each other. If either one is off at any corner, it reads under direct light. We've done enough of these to know where the tolerance is. The rings that leave our workshop are within it.

Your Ring Arrives Protected — Two-Layer Box Packaging, USPS Insured
Your ring ships in two layers of packaging. The inner ring box holds the ring securely in place. The outer box protects everything during transit. On top of that, the ring itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — so there's no movement, no impact damage, nothing shifts in transit.
Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. Even if an address was entered incorrectly at checkout, José Lux refunds you in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That's the José Lux standard.
FAQ
What is the center stone on this ring?
A single GRA-certified Green Moissanite — 7.0mm, round brilliant, 1.2ct. Clarity FL, 58 facets. Four-prong set on a raised platform inside the dual square halo, each prong hand-tensioned at our Vietnam workshop. The physical GRA certificate ships with your order — unique report ID, traceable to your specific batch.
How exactly is the dual square halo built?
Two square frames running parallel, side by side, around the center mount. The outer frame is baguette-cut Swiss CZ — rectangular step-cut stones, channel-set, running all four sides of the square. The inner frame runs directly inside that, tight to the center platform: round brilliant Swiss CZ, micro-pavé set, also running all four sides. From the front, you see the green Moissanite inside a round sparkle frame, inside a baguette rectangular frame. Two different stone cuts, two different light returns, both reading as part of the same square surround.
What is the visual difference between the baguette outer frame and the round inner frame?
The baguette outer frame is step-cut — parallel rectangular facets that produce clean, broad reflections. Structured, geometric light return, not sparkle. The round brilliant inner frame produces sparkle — point-source light return from 57–58 facets per stone. The two reads are distinct. Baguette reads as a defined hard-edge frame. Round reads as a ring of sparkle. Together they create two visible layers of stone around the green center before the shoulder begins.
What is the green Moissanite and where does the color come from?
GRA-certified Moissanite — lab-created silicon carbide. The green color is intrinsic to the crystal structure, not a surface coating or treatment. It does not fade, peel, or change over time. In different light it reads differently: deep forest green in natural daylight, richer under warm indoor light, active with color dispersion in directional light. Moissanite has a higher refractive index than diamond — more fire per facet. On a green stone, that fire has color in it. The GRA certificate documents the color grade, clarity, cut, and carat weight. Physical certificate included.
How many rows are on the shoulder?
Five rows per shoulder. Reading from the top rail down: round brilliant CZ in micro-pavé, round brilliant CZ in micro-pavé, baguette-cut CZ in a flush channel, round brilliant CZ in micro-pavé, round brilliant CZ in micro-pavé. The baguette center row runs the full shoulder width, wall to wall. Four round CZ rows flank it, two above and two below. From the side, all five rows are visible and distinct.
Is there stone coverage on the shank?
No. The stone coverage ends at the shoulder. The shank is wide, polished silver — no stones below the five-row shoulder on either side. That clean polished shank gives the shoulder visual elevation on the finger and keeps the band from feeling overloaded across the full circumference.
What does the ring look like in person?
The green reads first. At 7.0mm and 1.2ct, the center stone is the dominant visual — and in any directional light, the color fires and the stone moves. The dual halo sits close around it: round sparkle inner frame, baguette structural outer frame, both reading as distinct layers from the front. The five-row shoulder extends out to both sides, baguette channel visible in the center between the round CZ rows. From the side, the structure is clear. The shank below is wide and clean. This ring reads from a distance. It does not sit quietly.
How long does the rhodium plating last?
Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any change is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to replate after five years. Some have reported eight years before the first replate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect the timeline. Replating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.
What does the warranty cover?
If the Moissanite center stone comes loose under normal daily wear — no impact — replacement is charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only, never retail, and re-setting labor is free. If any Swiss CZ stone comes loose — baguette outer halo, round inner halo, or any of the five shoulder rows — the reset is completely free. No charge, no conditions. Rhodium replating is free for life. What is not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact, visible band deformation from a drop or hard blow. We inspect every case and communicate clearly. If a repair falls outside warranty, we still fix it at cost with a clear quote first.
How does sizing work?
This ring is made to order, sized to your exact measurement. We use our own José Lux size chart, provided at checkout. No off-the-shelf standard sizes. You measure using our chart, submit your size when ordering, and we build the ring to that measurement at our Vietnam workshop.
How does shipping work?
Free USPS shipping to the United States and Europe. Tracking is sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — we state that honestly rather than promising a window we cannot control. Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, a full refund is issued. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. The artisans setting your Green Moissanite solitaire, building both layers of the dual square halo, pressing the baguette shoulder channel, setting all four round pavé rows, and hand-plating the finish have been on the bench for years. Some have over 30 years of experience. The workshop is ours — not a third-party factory. That is how we control the halo geometry, dual frame alignment, channel flush, and finish quality on every piece that ships.
