This is not a ring with blank silver anywhere on the face. The center is a 7.0mm round brilliant GRA Moissanite at 1.2ct — four-prong set, raised above a halo platform that is built in two separate layers. The inner layer is a square ring of round brilliant Swiss CZ running tight to the center mount — one row, four sides, each stone individually set by hand. The outer layer is two rows of baguette-cut Swiss CZ forming a wider rectangular frame around the entire platform. Two rows of step-cut rectangles on the outside. One row of round brilliants on the inside. The Moissanite sits at the center of all of it.

From the halo, the shoulder extends in five rows. The center row is baguette-cut Swiss CZ in a flush channel — rectangles running the full shoulder length, wall to wall. Flanking that baguette row on both sides: two rows of round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé above, two rows below. Four rows of round brilliants. One row of baguettes in the center. That five-row stack runs from the edge of the halo platform all the way down the shank, covering the band completely. There is no polished plain shank visible on this ring. The stone coverage runs from halo to finger on both sides.
We've built a lot of fully-set men's rings. The challenge on this one is not stone count — it is maintaining consistent depth and alignment across three different setting zones: the baguette outer halo, the round inner halo, and the five-row shoulder. Every zone has to read level in direct light. Our Vietnam workshop artisans work through each zone in sequence and verify before moving to the next. The rings that ship are the ones that pass.
The Center Stone — GRA Moissanite
The center stone is a 7.0mm round brilliant Moissanite, 1.2ct, GRA certified. Color D. Colorless. Clarity FL. 58 facets. Four-prong set, each prong hand-tensioned at our Vietnam workshop before the ring ships.

Moissanite is not a diamond. We say that directly. It is lab-created silicon carbide with a higher refractive index than diamond — which means more fire, more color dispersion per facet in directional light. At 7.0mm and 1.2ct, elevated above a double-layer baguette cluster halo on a fully-set five-row band, the center stone reads from every angle in any lit environment. In sunlight it throws rainbow dispersion. Under overhead lighting it flashes. This is not a ring for someone who wants subtle.
The GRA certificate documents: Color D (Colorless), Clarity FL (Internally Flawless), Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets. Physical certificate ships with your order — unique report ID, traceable to your specific batch. Not a card. Not a QR code.
The Cluster Halo — Two Baguette Outer Rows, One Round Inner Row
The halo on this ring is built in two distinct layers around the center Moissanite platform.
The inner layer — running tight to the center mount — is a square ring of round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé. One row. Four straight sides. Each stone individually prong-set by hand, running the full perimeter of the center platform. This row is what sits immediately adjacent to the Moissanite. It reads as a close frame of round-cut light around the stone.

The outer layer — forming the larger rectangular frame visible in the front-view photos — is two rows of baguette-cut Swiss CZ running along the outer perimeter of the halo. Two rows of rectangular step-cut stones, stacked side by side, running the four sides of the outer frame. The baguettes are step-cut: parallel rectangular facets that produce clean, broad light reflections distinct from the sparkle of the round inner row.
From the front: center Moissanite, round brilliant inner square, double baguette outer rectangle. Three concentric frames of stone before the shoulder begins. That layering is what makes this ring read as a cluster build rather than a standard halo.
Setting both halo layers correctly is demanding bench work. The round inner row has to be level on all four sides and flush against the center mount. The two baguette outer rows have to be flush across their full length and consistent at every corner. All three layers have to sit at the correct relative heights. Our artisans set each layer independently and verify before the ring moves to shoulder assembly.
The Shoulder — Five Rows, Full-Coverage from Halo to Finger
Each shoulder runs five rows from the halo platform edge all the way down the shank. The stone coverage is continuous — there is no polished silver band visible below the shoulder on this ring. Both sides of the shank are covered in stone from top to bottom.

The center row is baguette-cut Swiss CZ in a flush channel — rectangular step-cut stones running the full shoulder and shank length on both sides. One baguette row, running wall to wall. Flanking that row: two rows of round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé above, two rows of round brilliant Swiss CZ below. Four round brilliant rows total, one baguette channel in the center. Five rows per side.
The baguette center row carries the same step-cut geometry as the outer halo layer — broad, clean light return that reads differently from the round brilliants flanking it. The four round pavé rows produce sparkle. The baguette channel produces structured reflection. On a ring where every surface is stone, the contrast between the two light types is the detail that gives the band visual depth from the side.
All stones are premium-grade Swiss-certified CZ imported in documented lots from the Swiss source to our Vietnam bench. Not standard CZ. Each baguette seat depth is verified before the channel rail closes. Each round brilliant is individually prong-set and checked under direct light before the ring moves to finishing.
The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver
925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural strength. This is a fully-set ring — stone coverage runs from the center halo platform down both sides of the shank without a break. The blank has to carry a raised center platform, a double-layer halo frame, and five rows of stones on a shank that covers completely. We use a gauged blank heavier than what you find in catalog versions of this build. The inner band carries a floral openwork cutout pattern — visible in the underside photo — which reduces total weight while keeping the wall strong enough to hold all the prong and channel settings above it.

The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold
Every ring leaves our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish applied by hand. Not machine-dipped. Hand-plated and checked by the same artisans who set the stones. Even coverage across the center prong tips, both halo layers, all five shoulder rows, and the full shank coverage — the points where machine-dipping consistently leaves thin spots or skips.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath. It sits as a barrier coat between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to replate after five years. Some have reported eight years of daily wear before the first replate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all factor in.
Rhodium replating at the José Lux workshop is always free. No time limit. No conditions. Send the ring in, we repolish and recoat, we return it at no charge.
Certification
The Moissanite center stone ships with the full GRA gemological certificate — Color D (Colorless), Clarity FL (Internally Flawless), Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets. Unique report number traceable to your specific batch. Physical certificate. Same documentation format used in the professional gemological trade.

The Swiss-certified CZ — inner halo row, both outer baguette halo rows, and all five shoulder rows — is sourced under a verified supplier contract with lot documentation from import to bench. That documentation stays at the José Lux workshop.
Warranty and Repairs
Every prong on a José Lux ring is tensioned by hand before it ships. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. If it happens — no evidence of impact — here is how it works:
Moissanite center stone re-setting or replacement: charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only. Never at retail. Re-setting labor is always free.
Swiss CZ stone re-setting — inner halo row, either baguette outer halo row, or any of the five shoulder rows: always free at the José Lux workshop. No charge, no conditions. We import these in volume. Reset labor is free. Stone cost is free.
Rhodium re-plating: always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.
What is not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible band deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we fix it at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.
Shipping
Free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — José Lux states that honestly rather than promise a window we cannot control.
Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged, or an incorrect address at checkout — you are covered in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.
Your ring ships in two layers: the inner ring box holds the ring securely with a shock-absorbing layer underneath. The outer box protects everything in transit. Nothing shifts. Nothing impacts.

Our Workshop
Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who set your 7.0mm GRA Moissanite solitaire, build the round CZ inner halo row around it on all four sides, press both baguette rows into the outer halo frame, run the baguette channel down both shoulder and shank sides, set all four round pavé rows, and hand-plate the rhodium finish have been doing this work for years. Some have over 30 years of bench experience. Every center prong is hand-tensioned. Every halo stone across all three rows is individually verified. Every baguette seat depth is checked before the channel closes. Every pavé row passes visual inspection under direct light before the ring ships.
This build has more setting zones than any other ring in the José Lux men's range: the round inner halo, the double baguette outer halo, the baguette shoulder channel, and four round pavé rail rows — all on a band where the stone coverage runs continuously from halo platform to finger. Three setting types. Five zones. No blank silver. Each zone is set and verified in sequence. The ring does not move to the next stage until the current stage reads clean under direct light. The rings that leave our workshop are the ones that pass that check.

Your Ring Arrives Protected — Two-Layer Box Packaging, USPS Insured
Your ring ships in two layers of packaging. The inner ring box holds the ring securely in place. The outer box protects everything during transit. Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. Even if an address was entered incorrectly at checkout, José Lux refunds you in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That's the José Lux standard.
FAQ
What is the center stone on this ring?
A single GRA-certified Moissanite — 7.0mm, round brilliant, 1.2ct. Color D, Clarity FL, 58 facets. Four-prong set on a raised platform inside the cluster halo, each prong hand-tensioned at our Vietnam workshop. The physical GRA certificate ships with your order — unique report ID, traceable to your specific batch.
How is the halo built — what are the two layers?
Two distinct layers around the center Moissanite platform. The inner layer is a square ring of round brilliant Swiss CZ running tight to the center mount — one row, four sides, individually set by hand. The outer layer is two rows of baguette-cut Swiss CZ forming a larger rectangular frame around the outside of that inner ring. Two baguette rows, step-cut, flush-channel, running the full outer perimeter. From the front: center stone, round inner square, double baguette outer rectangle. Three concentric frames of stone. That layering is what makes this a cluster build.
Does the stone coverage continue down the shank?
Yes. The five-row shoulder does not stop at the shank. Stone coverage runs continuously from the halo platform edge down both sides of the band to the finger. There is no polished plain silver visible below the shoulder on the outer face of this ring. The baguette center row and all four round pavé rows run the full length of the band on both sides.
How many rows are on the shoulder and what are they?
Five rows per side. The center row is baguette-cut Swiss CZ in a flush channel — one row of rectangles running the full band length. Above and below that center row: two rows of round brilliant Swiss CZ in micro-pavé on each side. Four round rows total, one baguette center row. That stack is visible in the side-view photos — the baguette channel reads as a structured band in the middle of four round CZ rows.
What is the visual difference between the baguette and round CZ on this ring?
Both are Swiss-certified CZ from the same documented import lot. The difference is the cut. Baguette CZ is step-cut — parallel rectangular facets that produce clean, broad light reflections. Round brilliant CZ has 57–58 facets designed to maximize sparkle. On this ring, the baguette stones appear in the two outer halo rows and the shoulder center channel. The round brilliants appear in the inner halo row and the four shoulder rail rows. The two light types layer over each other across the full face of the ring.
What does this ring look like in person?
Fully covered in stone. From the front: the Moissanite elevated above three concentric frames — round inner, double baguette outer. From the side: five rows running the full band, baguette center flanked by two round rows on each side, stone coverage continuing all the way down the shank. In any directional light, every surface of this ring is active. There is no blank silver anywhere on the outer face. On the finger, this ring fills the space. It reads from across a room.
What does Moissanite look like compared to diamond?
Moissanite is not a diamond and we will not describe it as one. It is lab-created silicon carbide with a higher refractive index — more fire, more color dispersion in directional light than diamond at the same size. At 7.0mm and 1.2ct, inside a cluster halo on a fully-covered band, the center stone is active in any lighting condition. If you want diamond, buy diamond. If you want GRA-certified lab-created stone with strong optical performance at this build level, Moissanite is worth knowing about on its own terms.
How long does the rhodium plating last?
Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any change is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to replate after five years. Some have reported eight years before the first replate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect the timeline. Replating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.
What does the warranty cover?
If the Moissanite center stone comes loose under normal daily wear — no impact — replacement is charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only, never retail, and re-setting labor is free. If any Swiss CZ stone comes loose — inner halo row, either outer baguette halo row, or any of the five shoulder rows — the reset is completely free. No charge, no conditions. Rhodium replating is free for life. What is not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact, visible band deformation from a drop or hard blow. We inspect every case and communicate clearly. If a repair falls outside warranty, we fix it at cost with a clear quote first.
How does sizing work?
This ring is made to order, sized to your exact measurement. We use our own José Lux size chart, provided at checkout. No off-the-shelf standard sizes. You measure using our chart, submit your size when ordering, and we build the ring to that measurement at our Vietnam workshop.
How does shipping work?
Free USPS shipping to the United States and Europe. Tracking is sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days. European orders can see customs delays — we state that honestly rather than promising a window we cannot control. Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, a full refund is issued. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. The artisans setting your Moissanite solitaire, building the round inner halo row, pressing both baguette outer halo rows, running the baguette channel and four round pavé rows across both shoulders and shanks, and hand-plating the finish have been on the bench for years. Some have over 30 years of experience. The workshop is ours — not a third-party factory. That is how we control the halo geometry, channel flush, row alignment, and finish quality on every piece that ships.
