We've been setting stones at our Vietnam workshop for over a decade, and this Round Center Ring is built around a 10mm round brilliant Moissanite — a genuine centerpiece stone, not an accent. It sits on four prongs inside a small pavé frame, raised above a band that's cut, not flat: both shoulders are faceted into a geometric pattern of angled planes, with a channel of baguette CZ set into that faceted surface and a fine pavé line bordering the top edge.

This is a mixed-stone build, and we say that plainly. The center stone is Moissanite, graded and GRA-documented in its own right. The pavé frame around it, the channel-set baguettes, and the pavé border along the edge are all Swiss-certified CZ. We don't blend two stone types to cut cost — a baguette channel set into a faceted band needs stones cut to an exact, consistent size to sit flush against every angled plane, and Swiss CZ gives us that. The center is where we put the size and the GRA documentation.

Turn the ring over and the gallery underneath is cut open in an ornamental lattice, not left as a solid plate. On a band this substantial, that open structure does real work: it pulls metal mass out from directly under your finger, which means less flat surface pressing into the skin and less of the pinching, fatigued feeling a solid-backed wide ring can cause over a long day of wear. It's what makes a heavily built band like this one comfortable enough to wear daily, not just for photos.

The Center Stone — 10mm Moissanite, Color D

The center stone is a 10mm round brilliant Moissanite. Color D, Colorless. Internally Flawless. 58 facets. This is the same colorless D-FL grade we use across our all-Moissanite pieces. Framed by its own small pavé border and raised above the faceted band beneath it, the center stone sits as the clear focal point on a build that's otherwise all sharp, geometric metal and channel-set stone.

Moissanite is not a diamond. We say that plainly: it's its own material, lab-created silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale, with a higher refractive index and more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light — than diamond has. At 10mm, that fire is substantial. In direct sun or under any overhead source, the center stone is the first thing anyone notices.

Every center stone ships with its own GRA certificate: physical document, unique report ID, traceable to your batch at our Hong Kong supplier. Not a card. Not a QR code.

The Faceted Band & Baguette — Swiss CZ

The pavé frame around the center stone, the channel-set baguettes running down each shoulder, and the pavé line bordering the top edge are all Swiss-certified CZ — premium grade, imported in certified batches from Switzerland, not standard commodity CZ. Setting a baguette channel into a faceted band is unforgiving in its own way: each angled plane of metal has to meet the next at a clean line, and every baguette inside the channel has to sit flush and level despite the surface around it changing angle. Swiss CZ's tighter cut tolerances are what make that possible.

We use CZ for the frame and baguettes for a practical reason, not a cost one: a channel this precise needs stones cut to a tight, consistent tolerance, and Swiss CZ gives us that at the volume this build requires. The center stone is where the size and the GRA documentation go. The frame and baguettes are there to carry the geometry of the band.

The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver

The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity. A faceted geometric surface holds its sharpness only if the metal underneath is substantial enough — thin metal rounds off at the edges within a year of daily wear, and the pattern goes soft. We use a heavier blank on this build for exactly that reason, cut deep enough that the facets stay crisp.

The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold

Every ring comes out of our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish applied by hand. Not machine-dipped. Hand-plated, controlled at the workshop level, checked by the same artisans who set the stones. On a faceted build like this one, that means even coverage across every angled plane and into the channel itself — the points where machine-dipping pools in the corners or skips the recessed lines entirely.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath. It sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline for this finish: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have gone eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect how long it holds.

Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit. No conditions. Send the ring in, we repolish and recoat, we return it at no charge.

Size Chart

Certification

The center stone ships with its own GRA gemological certificate: Color D (Colorless), Clarity FL (Internally Flawless), Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets, with a unique report number traceable to your specific batch. Physical certificate — the same documentation format used in the professional gemological trade. The Swiss CZ frame and baguettes ship with a material authenticity card confirming Swiss origin and lab-created status.

Warranty and Repairs

Every prong on this ring — the four holding the center stone and every stone across the pavé frame and baguette channel — is hand-set at our Vietnam workshop and push-tested at 5 to 8 pounds before it ships. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare — that's a result of how the stones are set, not luck.

This is a lifetime warranty. Not a one-year policy. Not two years. For as long as you own the ring.

If a stone comes loose or falls out under everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux handles it:

CZ frame or baguette stone reset: Always free. No charge, no conditions — we import these stones in volume.

Moissanite center stone re-setting or replacement: Resetting labor is always free. If the stone is physically lost, replacement is charged at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier only — never at retail.

Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.

What's not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we fix it at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.

Shipping

Free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days to the US, 10–18 business days to Europe — customs adds time on that side, and we say so rather than promise a window we can't control.

Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged, or an incorrect address at checkout — you're covered in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.

Your ring ships in two layers: the inner ring box holds the ring securely with a shock-absorbing layer underneath. The outer box protects everything in transit. Nothing shifts. Nothing impacts.

Our Workshop

Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who set your center stone, cut the faceted band, channel-set the baguettes, and hand-plate the finish have been doing this work for years. Some have over 30 years of bench experience. Every prong is adjusted by hand. Every facet is cut and polished individually before the baguette channel goes in. Every band is plated by hand, checked by the person who plated it.

A faceted geometric band changes what the bench has to get right — every angled plane has to meet the next cleanly, and the baguette channel running through that faceted surface has to stay level despite the angle changing underneath it. We push-test every center stone at 5 to 8 pounds before it leaves the bench, the same standard we hold for every José Lux piece, faceted or flat.

FAQ

What stone is the center stone?

A 10mm round brilliant Moissanite, Color D, Colorless, Internally Flawless, 58 facets. It's lab-created silicon carbide, GRA certified, 9.25 on the Mohs scale, the same colorless grade we use across our all-Moissanite pieces.

What stones are in the frame and baguette channel?

Swiss-certified CZ, set as a small pavé frame around the center and channel-set baguettes running down both shoulders, bordered by a fine pavé line along the edge. This is a mixed-stone ring: Moissanite center, CZ everywhere else. We're upfront about that split — a baguette channel cut into a faceted band needs stones held to a tight, consistent tolerance, and Swiss CZ's cut precision is what makes that possible.

What is Moissanite and how does it differ from diamond?

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale. It is not a diamond and we won't describe it as one. It has a higher refractive index than diamond, which means more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light. At 10mm, that fire is substantial in any direct light source. If you want diamond, buy diamond. If you want a lab-created stone with strong fire and GRA documentation, this is a solid choice.

What's the open gallery underneath, and does it actually help with comfort?

Yes. The gallery under the center stone is cut open rather than left as a solid plate. On a band this substantial, that open structure pulls metal mass out from directly under your finger — less flat surface in constant contact with the skin, which means less of the pinching or fatigued feeling a solid-backed wide ring can cause over a full day of wear. It's a functional detail as much as a decorative one.

What does "faceted geometric band" mean — is that just the setting, or the metal itself?

Both. The channel holding the baguette CZ is cut into a band whose shoulders are faceted into angled planes, not left flat. It's a structural and visual choice — the facets catch light independently of the stones, so the band itself has movement even before you account for the CZ and the center stone.

How does the ring look in person and on the hand?

Bold and architectural. The 10mm center stone sits inside its pavé frame, with the faceted shoulders throwing sharp, angular highlights and the channel-set baguettes running a clean line beneath them. In direct light, the Moissanite throws strong rainbow flashes at the center while the CZ and the faceted metal both catch light independently. This is not a subtle ring.

How long does the rhodium plating last?

Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have reported eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and exposure to chemicals all affect the timeline. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.

What does the warranty cover?

This is a lifetime warranty, not a one- or two-year policy. Settings are built to hold, and stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. CZ frame and baguette stone resets are always free. If the Moissanite center stone is lost outright, replacement is charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only, never at retail — resetting labor stays free either way. Rhodium re-plating is always free. What's not covered: impact damage — visible deformation of the band or a prong seat from a drop or hard blow. José Lux inspects every case individually and communicates honestly.

How does sizing work?

This ring is made to order and sized specifically to your measurement. We use our own José Lux size chart, provided at checkout. There are no standard off-the-shelf sizes. You measure using our chart, submit your size when ordering, and we build the ring to that measurement at our Vietnam workshop.

How does shipping work?

Free USPS shipping to the United States and Europe. Tracking is sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days to the US, 10–18 business days to Europe — customs adds time on that side, and we're upfront about that rather than promise a window we can't control. Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, including an incorrect delivery address, a full refund is issued.

Where is this ring made?

Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. The artisans setting your center stone, cutting the faceted band, and channel-setting the baguettes have been doing bench work for years — some for decades. The workshop is ours, not a third-party factory. That's how we control the setting quality and the finish on every piece that ships.

José Lux Buying Guide 5 FAQs

1. Is it safe to order online at José Lux?

Yes. Our store runs on Shopify, one of the world's most trusted ecommerce platforms. Shopify protects your personal information and your payment with SSL encryption and a secure checkout, so your details stay private and your payment is safe.

2. Do Moissanite and Cubic Zirconia Jewelry Come with GRA Certification?

The main Moissanite stone in each José Lux piece ships with its own GRA (Gemological Research Association) certificate. The report records the stone's color, clarity, cut, and size, and carries a unique report number traceable to that specific stone. Smaller Moissanite accent stones are the same material, hand-matched to the main stone, but they are not certified individually.

Swiss CZ pieces don't come with a GRA certificate. Instead, our CZ is imported with Swiss lot records, so every batch is documented.

3. Is José Lux Jewelry Quality and Accurately Described?

Every José Lux piece is handcrafted to order at our own workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, in 925 sterling silver or solid 10K and 14K gold. Before it ships, we check every prong and stone setting by hand, and each gold piece is tested for karat and stamped with its hallmark. Each listing states the metal, karat, and stones, and your piece is made to match. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen. If what arrives isn't what you ordered, we'll give you a full refund.

4. Is José Lux Jewelry Shipping Safe?

Yes. Your piece is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer, set inside a jewelry box, and packed in an outer protective box, so it doesn't shift or get scratched in transit. Every shipment is covered by 100% USPS jewelry insurance. If your order is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit, we cover it. We email your tracking number the day your order ships, so you can follow it all the way to your door.

5. How long does it take to receive my order?

Every piece is made to order, so your total time is production plus shipping, counted in business days.

Silver jewelry: Production takes 3–4 business days. Shipping via USPS takes 7–14 business days to the US, 10–15 to Europe, 7–12 to Asia, and 10–20 to other countries. From order to your door, that's about 10–18 business days to the US, 13–19 to Europe, 10–16 to Asia, and 13–24 to other countries.

Gold jewelry (10K and 14K): Gold ships to the United States only. Production takes 6–8 business days and shipping takes 5–7, so about 11–15 business days from order to your door.

We email your tracking number the day your order ships. Customs processing can add time on international orders.
