We've been setting stones at our Vietnam workshop for over a decade, and this Round Center Ring is built around an 8mm round brilliant Moissanite — a genuine centerpiece stone, not an accent. It sits on four prongs inside a round pavé halo. From there, the pavé doesn't stop at the halo — it runs wall to wall across the rest of the face in a geometric fret pattern, and continues down both shoulders to the shank. No blank silver, no gaps between the halo and the band.

This is a mixed-stone build, and we say that plainly. The center stone is Moissanite, graded and documented in its own right. The halo and every pavé stone across the geometric face and shoulders are Swiss-certified CZ. We don't blend two stone types to cut cost — a full pavé field this dense needs hundreds of identically cut stones to read as one clean, level surface, and Swiss CZ gives us that. The center is where we put the size and the GRA documentation.

Turn the ring over and the gallery underneath is cut open in an ornamental lattice, not left as a solid plate. On a ring this heavily set with pavé, that open structure does real work: it pulls metal mass out from directly under your finger, which means less flat surface pressing into the skin and less of the pinching, fatigued feeling a solid-backed wide ring can cause over a long day of wear. It's what makes a full-pavé build like this one comfortable enough to wear daily, not just for photos.
The Center Stone — 8mm Moissanite, Color D-FL
The center stone is an 8mm round brilliant Moissanite. Color D, Colorless. Internally Flawless. 58 facets. This is the same colorless D-FL grade we use across our all-Moissanite pieces. Set inside its own pavé halo and raised above the surrounding field, the center stone is the clear focal point on this build — everything around it is built to carry the field outward from that point.

Moissanite is not a diamond. We say that plainly: it's its own material, lab-created silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale, with a higher refractive index and more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light — than diamond has. In direct sun or under any overhead source, the center stone is the first thing anyone notices.

Every center stone ships with its own GRA certificate: physical document, unique report ID laser-inscribed on the stone, carat weight and dimensions to 0.01mm, traceable to your batch at our Hong Kong supplier. Not a card. Not a QR code.
The Halo & Full Pavé — Swiss CZ
The pavé halo framing the center stone and every stone across the geometric field covering the rest of the face and shoulders are Swiss-certified CZ — premium grade, imported in certified batches from Switzerland, not standard commodity CZ. A full pavé field cut into a geometric pattern is unforgiving in its own way: every stone in that pattern has to sit at the same height and the same spacing, row after row, or the pattern reads uneven the moment light crosses it. Swiss CZ's tighter cut tolerances are what keep that field looking level from the halo out to the shank.

We use CZ for the halo and the full pavé field for a practical reason, not a cost one: a pattern this dense needs a very large number of identically cut small stones, and Swiss CZ gives us that consistency at the volume this build requires. The center stone is where the size and the GRA documentation go. The halo and pavé are there to frame it and carry the pattern.
The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver
The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity. An 8mm center stone sits on four prongs, and the geometric pavé field covering the rest of the face has to hold its pattern — every raised edge, every recessed line — under daily wear. We use a heavier blank on this build for exactly that reason — the geometry only holds if the metal underneath it does.
The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold
Every ring comes out of our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish applied by hand. Not machine-dipped. Hand-plated, controlled at the workshop level, checked by the same artisans who set the stones. On a build with this much surface detail, that means even coverage across the halo, every raised edge of the geometric pattern, and through the open gallery underneath — all surfaces a machine dip tends to skip or pool on.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath. It sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline for this finish: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have gone eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect how long it holds.
Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit. No conditions. Send the ring in, we repolish and recoat, we return it at no charge.

Certification

The center stone ships with its own GRA gemological certificate: Color D (Colorless), Clarity FL (Internally Flawless), Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets, carat weight and dimensions to 0.01mm, with a unique report number traceable to your specific batch. Physical certificate — the same documentation format used in the professional gemological trade. The Swiss CZ halo and full pavé field ship with a material authenticity card confirming Swiss origin and lab-created status.
Warranty and Repairs
Every prong on this ring — the four holding the center stone and every stone across the halo and the full pavé field — is hand-set at our Vietnam workshop and push-tested at 5 to 8 pounds before it ships. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare — that's a result of how the stones are set, not luck.
This is a lifetime warranty. Not a one-year policy. Not two years. For as long as you own the ring.
If a stone comes loose or falls out under everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux handles it:
CZ halo or pavé stone reset: Always free. No charge, no conditions — we import these stones in volume.
Moissanite center stone re-setting or replacement: Resetting labor is always free. If the stone is physically lost, replacement is charged at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier only — never at retail.
Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.
What's not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we fix it at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.
Shipping

Free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days to the US, 10–18 business days to Europe — customs adds time on that side, and we say so rather than promise a window we can't control.
Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged, or an incorrect address at checkout — you're covered in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.
Your ring ships in two layers: the inner ring box holds the ring securely with a shock-absorbing layer underneath. The outer box protects everything in transit. Nothing shifts. Nothing impacts.
Our Workshop

Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who set your center stone, build the halo, lay the geometric pavé pattern, and hand-plate the finish have been doing this work for years. Some have over 30 years of bench experience. Every prong is adjusted by hand. Every row of the pattern is checked level against the row beside it before plating. Every band is plated by hand, checked by the person who plated it.
A full pavé field cut into a geometric pattern changes what the setting has to do — there's no busy texture to hide an uneven row behind, and every line in the pattern has to stay straight and level across a curved band. We push-test every center stone at 5 to 8 pounds before it leaves the bench, the same standard we hold for every José Lux piece, large stone or small.

FAQ
What stone is the center stone?
An 8mm round brilliant Moissanite, Color D, Colorless, Internally Flawless, 58 facets. It's lab-created silicon carbide, GRA certified, 9.25 on the Mohs scale, the same colorless grade we use across our all-Moissanite pieces.
What stones are in the halo and pavé field?
Swiss-certified CZ, set as a round pavé halo around the center and a dense geometric pavé pattern covering the rest of the face and shoulders. This is a mixed-stone ring: Moissanite center, CZ everywhere else. We're upfront about that split — a full pavé field this dense needs hundreds of identically cut stones, and Swiss CZ's tight cut tolerances are what keep that field reading level.
What is Moissanite and how does it differ from diamond?
Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale. It is not a diamond and we won't describe it as one. It has a higher refractive index than diamond, which means more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light. If you want diamond, buy diamond. If you want a lab-created stone with strong fire and GRA documentation, this is a solid choice.
What's the open gallery underneath, and does it actually help with comfort?
Yes. The gallery under the center stone is cut open rather than left as a solid plate. On a ring this heavily set with pavé, that open structure pulls metal mass out from directly under your finger — less flat surface in constant contact with the skin, which means less of the pinching or fatigued feeling a solid-backed wide ring can cause over a full day of wear. It's a functional detail as much as a decorative one.
How does the ring look in person and on the hand?
Bold and stone-forward. The center stone sits inside its own pavé halo, with a dense geometric pattern of CZ covering the rest of the face and running down both shoulders. In direct light, the Moissanite throws strong rainbow flashes at the center while the CZ halo and pavé field throw a flatter, brighter white sparkle around it — two distinct kinds of light on one ring. This is not a subtle ring.
How long does the rhodium plating last?
Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have reported eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and exposure to chemicals all affect the timeline. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.
What does the warranty cover?
This is a lifetime warranty, not a one- or two-year policy. Settings are built to hold, and stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. CZ halo and pavé stone resets are always free. If the Moissanite center stone is lost outright, replacement is charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only, never at retail — resetting labor stays free either way. Rhodium re-plating is always free. What's not covered: impact damage — visible deformation of the band, the halo, or a prong seat from a drop or hard blow. José Lux inspects every case individually and communicates honestly.
How does sizing work?
This ring is made to order and sized specifically to your measurement. We use our own José Lux size chart, provided at checkout. There are no standard off-the-shelf sizes. You measure using our chart, submit your size when ordering, and we build the ring to that measurement at our Vietnam workshop.
How does shipping work?
Free USPS shipping to the United States and Europe. Tracking is sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days to the US, 10–18 business days to Europe — customs adds time on that side, and we're upfront about that rather than promise a window we can't control. Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, including an incorrect delivery address, a full refund is issued.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. The artisans setting your center stone, building the halo, and laying the geometric pavé field have been doing bench work for years — some for decades. The workshop is ours, not a third-party factory. That's how we control the setting quality and the finish on every piece that ships.

José Lux Buying Guide 5 FAQs
1. Is it safe to order online at José Lux?
Yes. Our store runs on Shopify, one of the world's most trusted ecommerce platforms. Shopify protects your personal information and your payment with SSL encryption and a secure checkout, so your details stay private and your payment is safe.
2. Do Moissanite and Cubic Zirconia Jewelry Come with GRA Certification?
The main Moissanite stone in each José Lux piece ships with its own GRA (Gemological Research Association) certificate. The report records the stone's color, clarity, cut, and size, and carries a unique report number traceable to that specific stone. Smaller Moissanite accent stones are the same material, hand-matched to the main stone, but they are not certified individually.
Swiss CZ pieces don't come with a GRA certificate. Instead, our CZ is imported with Swiss lot records, so every batch is documented.
3. Is José Lux Jewelry Quality and Accurately Described?
Every José Lux piece is handcrafted to order at our own workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, in 925 sterling silver or solid 10K and 14K gold. Before it ships, we check every prong and stone setting by hand, and each gold piece is tested for karat and stamped with its hallmark. Each listing states the metal, karat, and stones, and your piece is made to match. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen. If what arrives isn't what you ordered, we'll give you a full refund.
4. Is José Lux Jewelry Shipping Safe?
Yes. Your piece is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer, set inside a jewelry box, and packed in an outer protective box, so it doesn't shift or get scratched in transit. Every shipment is covered by 100% USPS jewelry insurance. If your order is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit, we cover it. We email your tracking number the day your order ships, so you can follow it all the way to your door.
5. How long does it take to receive my order?
Every piece is made to order, so your total time is production plus shipping, counted in business days.
Silver jewelry: Production takes 3–4 business days. Shipping via USPS takes 7–14 business days to the US, 10–15 to Europe, 7–12 to Asia, and 10–20 to other countries. From order to your door, that's about 10–18 business days to the US, 13–19 to Europe, 10–16 to Asia, and 13–24 to other countries.
Gold jewelry (10K and 14K): Gold ships to the United States only. Production takes 6–8 business days and shipping takes 5–7, so about 11–15 business days from order to your door.
We email your tracking number the day your order ships. Customs processing can add time on international orders.
