Handmade Men’s Square Cluster Earrings – 10K & 14K Gold Moissanite (Single or Pair)

These men’s square cluster earrings are solid gold in two karats: 10K gold — 41.7% pure gold — and 14K gold — 58.3% pure gold. Every earring holds nine Moissanite stones set in a tight 3×3 square, with no Swiss CZ (Cubic Zirconia) anywhere in the cluster. Pick Yellow Gold, White Gold or Rose Gold.

Four round Moissanite stones sit at the corners. Five princess-cut Moissanite stones fill the rest. A solid gold post with a screw back holds the earring in place, and the back comes off completely when you want to clean it.

The Moissanite Square Cluster — Center to Edge

The cluster is a 3×3 grid. Round stones take the four corners. Princess-cut stones take the center and the four edges.

Sixteen small ball prongs sit at the grid intersections, and each stone is held by four of them. Neighboring stones share prongs, so the stones sit shoulder to shoulder with no wide metal borders between them. That’s what makes it a cluster instead of nine separate settings.

The back of the head is open. A gold cross-bar spans the back and carries the post, so light reaches the stones from behind as well as from above. At work, at the gym, on a night out, the earring sits flat on the lobe, and the solid gold post and screw back hold it in place.

The Gold and Karat Options

The head, the post and the screw back are all solid gold — never gold-filled, never gold-plated. José Lux offers them in 10K gold (41.7% pure gold) and 14K gold (58.3% pure gold).

10K carries less pure gold and more of the harder alloy metals, so it resists everyday scratching a little better. That matters on an earring you wear at work and at the gym. 14K carries more pure gold, which gives Yellow Gold a deeper, warmer tone, with slightly softer metal.

Neither is the “better” metal. They’re two different trade-offs, and José Lux sells both.

Metal weight is 0.88 g [per earring] in 10K gold and 0.99 g [per earring] in 14K gold. The 14K version weighs a little more because 14K gold is denser.

Every karat comes in Yellow Gold, White Gold or Rose Gold. The color isn’t a coating. It comes from the alloy formula — the ratio of copper, silver, zinc or palladium mixed into the gold during alloying.

José Lux’s White Gold alloy uses copper, silver, zinc or palladium — not nickel. Rose Gold gets its warmer tone from copper in the mix.

Pick Yellow Gold to match the chain you already wear. Pick White Gold to match a steel or silver ring. Pick Rose Gold to match a watch or ring with the same warm tone.

How We Make Them

Every José Lux gold earring goes through four stages before it ships: alloying, casting, hand finishing and quality control. We alloy 24K gold down to 10K or 14K by hand, in the exact ratio for the karat and color ordered. The earring is cast from a 3D CAD design using lost-wax casting.

Then the stone-setting starts, and a 3×3 grid leaves no room for error. The seats for the round corner stones and the princess-cut stones are cut to different shapes, and the rows still have to line up. We set every Moissanite stone by hand with its prongs, then polish the earring to a mirror finish.

Before it leaves Hồ Chí Minh City, we test the karat with an XRF machine, check the nickel content and stamp the legal karat hallmark. The same workshop team packs your order.

Certification

All nine stones are Moissanite — GRA Certified, Color D-FL (colorless, internally flawless), Mohs 9.25.

Moissanite isn’t a diamond, and José Lux won’t tell you it is. It’s lab-created silicon carbide with its own optical signature. The GRA report is a Moissanite report, not a diamond-grading report.

The nine stones are hand-selected at the bench so the cluster reads consistent, not patchy. No stone plays the accent role here. Every one is Moissanite.

Care

The screw back comes off completely, so you can take the earring apart and clean it whenever you need to. Wipe the stones and the open back with the jewelry cleaning cloth that ships with every order.

Open backs let light in. They also let skin oils and lotion reach the stones, so clean behind them now and then.

Warranty and Repairs

Every José Lux gold earring carries a lifetime warranty. Repairs are free — for life, no expiration date. Each prong is checked and adjusted by hand before an earring ships, which is why a stone coming loose under normal daily wear is rare.

If a Moissanite stone does come loose under everyday use, José Lux resets it for free. That covers all nine stones in the cluster.

Is every stone Moissanite, or is some of it CZ?

Every stone in the cluster is Moissanite — nine per earring. That’s different from José Lux earrings that pair a Moissanite center with Swiss CZ accents. Here, there’s no CZ anywhere.

All nine are GRA Certified Moissanite, hand-selected at the bench in round and princess cuts.

Is this one earring or a pair?

Both are available. Choose Single for one earring or Pair for two earrings in the Quantity option before you add to cart.
