We've been setting stones at our Vietnam workshop for over a decade, and the Square Cluster Ring is one of the more geometry-heavy builds we run. The face is a cushion-cornered square, bezel-framed, set edge to edge with round brilliant Moissanite in a tight pavé grid. No open metal inside the frame. Every position in that grid holds a stone.

Below the face, the pavé continues down both shoulders in graduated rows, following the dome of the band before pinching in at the sides — a waisted profile that opens back up as it wraps around the finger.

Turn the ring over and you'll see the part most rings hide. We cut the gallery under the face open in a crosshatch lattice instead of leaving a solid metal plate. On a wide square ring like this one, that open structure does real work: it pulls metal mass out from directly under your finger, so less flat surface presses into the skin. That means fewer of the indent marks a solid-backed wide ring leaves on your finger, and less of the pinched, tired feeling by the end of a long day. It's what makes a wide cluster ring comfortable enough to wear every day, not just for photos. The lattice also lets light reach the stones from underneath. That's a harder mold to cast clean, and it's why we check it on every piece before it ships.

The bezel edge framing the face is beaded, cut in the same operation as the rest of the setting — not a separate applied trim. It's the detail that keeps the square face looking finished from every angle, not just from the top.

The Stones — Full Moissanite Cluster Pavé

Every stone on this ring is GRA-certified Moissanite. Not a mix, not CZ shoulders under a Moissanite face — the cluster face and both shoulders are set with the same round brilliant Moissanite, wall to wall. Each stone is lab-created silicon carbide: Color D, Colorless. Internally Flawless. 58 facets per stone. Moissanite runs 9.25 on the Mohs scale — harder than the CZ we use elsewhere in our range, which lets our artisans set the prongs tighter without cracking a stone underneath them.

Moissanite is not a diamond. We say that plainly: it's a different material with its own optical behavior. It produces more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light — than diamond does. On a cluster this dense, that fire doesn't scatter across a wide surface the way it would on a band; it concentrates into one square block of light on the hand. In sunlight or under any overhead source, you see it immediately.

Each ring ships with its own GRA certificate: a physical document, unique report ID, laser-inscribed on the stone and traceable to your batch at our Hong Kong supplier. Not a card. Not a QR code. The same format used in professional gemological trade documentation.

The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver

The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity. On a cluster build, the metal underneath the stones is doing more work than it looks like. The open lattice gallery under the face still has to hold its shape and keep every prong at the right tension, and the pinched waist at each shoulder has to stay rigid instead of flexing when the ring goes on and off. We cast the blank heavier than a standard catalog cluster ring specifically for that reason — mass is what keeps the geometry from moving.

The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold

Every ring comes out of our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish applied by hand. Not machine-dipped. Hand-plated, controlled at the workshop level, checked by the same artisans who set the stones. On a cluster ring, even coverage matters more than usual — there's a lattice gallery, a beaded bezel edge, and two pinched shoulders, all surfaces a machine dip tends to leave thin.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath. It sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline for this finish: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have gone eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect how long it holds.

Warranty and Repairs

Every prong on this ring — cluster face or shoulder pavé — is hand-tensioned at our Vietnam workshop and push-tested at 5 to 8 pounds before it ships. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare — that's a result of how the prongs are set, not luck.

This is a lifetime warranty. Not a one-year policy. Not two years. For as long as you own the ring.

What's not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation consistent with a fall. Our Workshop

Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who hand-set your Moissanite stones, cast the lattice gallery, and hand-plate your band finish have been doing this work for years. Some have over 30 years of bench experience. Every prong is adjusted by hand. Every gallery is checked by hand before plating. Every band is plated by hand, checked by the person who plated it.

A bezel-framed cluster build is a different kind of demanding than a full pavé band. The challenge isn't covering the widest possible surface — it's holding a precise square shape, an even bezel edge, and an open lattice underneath, all in the same casting. We've done enough of these to know where the shortcuts cause problems. We don't take them.

What is Moissanite and how does it differ from diamond?

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale. It is not a diamond and we won't describe it as one. It has a higher refractive index than diamond, which means more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light. On a cluster this size, that fire reads as one concentrated block of light rather than spreading thin across a wide band. If you want diamond, buy diamond. If you want a lab-created stone with strong fire and GRA documentation, this is a solid choice.

What's the open lattice underneath, and does it help with finger marks and fatigue?

Yes. We cut the gallery under the cluster face open in a crosshatch lattice instead of leaving a solid metal plate. It's cut, not stamped.
