We've been setting stones at our Vietnam workshop for over a decade, and this Square Halo Ring pairs a wide, flat pavé face with a single focal point at the center. A 7.5mm round Moissanite sits inside a square halo with a fine beaded edge, set flush into a field of pavé that runs wall to wall across the face and down both shoulders — no raised platform, no stepped tiers, just one continuous surface of stone with the halo marking the center of it.

Every stone on this ring is GRA-certified Moissanite. Not a mix. Not CZ anywhere — center, halo, or field. We say that clearly because a build with this much stone, at this many distinct positions, is exactly where a brand can quietly swap in a cheaper stone and hope no one checks. We don't.

Turn the ring over and you'll see the part most rings hide. We cut the gallery underneath open in an ornamental pattern — overlapping circles and lens shapes, not a plain lattice — instead of leaving a solid plate. On a wide pavé ring like this one, that open structure does real work: it pulls metal mass out from directly under your finger, so less flat surface presses into the skin. That means fewer indent marks on your finger, and less of the pinched, tired feeling a solid-backed wide ring causes by the end of a long day. It's what makes a wide square halo ring comfortable enough to wear every day, not just for photos. We cut it clean at our workshop before anything else happens to the piece.

The Stones — Full Moissanite, Center to Edge

Every stone on this ring — the 7.5mm center, the beaded-edge square halo framing it, and every stone across the wide pavé face and shoulders — is GRA-certified Moissanite. Round brilliant. Color D, Colorless. Internally Flawless. 58 facets per stone. Each stone is lab-created silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale. The center stone sits inside its own square frame, set flush with the pavé field around it rather than raised above it — the halo's fine beaded edge is what separates it visually, not height.

Moissanite is not a diamond. We'll say that clearly: it's its own material with its own optical properties. It produces more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light — than diamond. Across a wide pavé face this dense, that fire doesn't stay at the center — it runs the full width of the ring, from the halo out through every row of pavé to the rails.

Each ring ships with its own GRA certificate. Physical certificate, unique report ID, traceable to your specific batch. Not a card. Not a QR code. A gemological report in the same format used in professional trade documentation.

The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver

The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity. A wide pavé face packed this densely needs a properly gauged blank underneath it — the metal is holding the square halo frame, the center stone's four prongs, and every pavé prong across the field level and true at the same time. We use a heavier blank on this build than a standard catalog halo ring for exactly that reason.

The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold

Every ring comes out of our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish applied by hand. Not machine-dipped. Hand-plated, controlled at the workshop level, checked by the same artisans who set the stones. On a build this dense, even coverage matters — there's a beaded halo edge, a wide field of pavé prongs, and an open cutout gallery underneath, all surfaces a machine dip tends to leave thin.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath. It sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline for this finish: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have gone eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect how long it holds.

Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit. No conditions. Send the ring in, we repolish and recoat, we return it at no charge.

Certification

Every ring ships with the full GRA gemological certificate for the Moissanite stones. Color D (Colorless), Clarity FL (Internally Flawless), Round Brilliant cut, 58 facets — with a unique report number traceable to your specific batch. Physical certificate. This is the same documentation format used in the professional gemological trade. One certificate covers the batch — center stone included, not sold or documented separately.

Warranty and Repairs

Every prong on this ring — the center halo and every stone across the pavé face and shoulders — is hand-tensioned at our Vietnam workshop and push-tested at 5 to 8 pounds before it ships. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare — that's a result of how the prongs are set, not luck.

This is a lifetime warranty. Not a one-year policy. Not two years. For as long as you own the ring.

If a stone does come loose or fall out under everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux handles it:

Moissanite stone re-setting or replacement: Charged at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier only. Never at retail. Re-setting labor is always free.

Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.

What's not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we fix it at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.

Shipping

Free via USPS to the United States and Europe. Tracking sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days to the US, 10–18 business days to Europe — customs adds time on that side, and we say so rather than promise a window we can't control.

Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged, or an incorrect address at checkout — you're covered in full. You either receive your ring in perfect condition or you get your money back.

Your ring ships in two layers: the inner ring box holds the ring securely with a shock-absorbing layer underneath. The outer box protects everything in transit. Nothing shifts. Nothing impacts.

Our Workshop

Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who set your Moissanite stones — center to edge — build the beaded halo, cut the ornamental gallery, and hand-plate the finish have been doing this work for years. Some have over 30 years of bench experience. Every prong is adjusted by hand. Every beaded edge is finished by hand. Every band is plated by hand, checked by the person who plated it.

A wide pavé face with a set-in halo is demanding for a different reason than a raised center: the halo has to read as its own frame while sitting perfectly flush with the field around it — no seam, no step, no gap where the two meet. We've done enough of these to know where the shortcuts cause problems. We don't take them.

FAQ

What are all the stones on this ring?

All Moissanite. The 7.5mm center stone, the beaded-edge square halo around it, and every stone across the wide pavé face and shoulders are GRA-certified round brilliant Moissanite, Color D, Clarity FL, 58 facets. This is not a mixed-stone build. No CZ. No hybrid. José Lux states this clearly because it matters when you're deciding what you're buying.

What is Moissanite and how does it differ from diamond?

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide, 9.25 on the Mohs scale. It is not a diamond and we won't describe it as one. It has a higher refractive index than diamond, which means more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light. Across a wide pavé face like this one, that fire runs the full width of the ring, not just at the center. If you want diamond, buy diamond. If you want a lab-created stone with strong fire and GRA documentation, this is a solid choice.

What makes the square halo different from the pavé around it?

The center stone sits inside its own square frame with a fine beaded edge — a thin raised line of tiny beads tracing the halo's border. It's set flush with the pavé field around it, not raised on a platform, so the halo reads as a distinct frame around the center stone rather than a separate tier. You can see the beaded edge clearly in the close-up photos.

What's the cutout underneath the ring, and does it help with finger marks and fatigue?

Yes. We cut the gallery underneath open in an ornamental pattern — overlapping circles and lens shapes — instead of leaving a solid plate. It's cut at the workshop, not stamped. On a wide pavé ring, that open structure pulls metal mass out from directly under your finger, so less flat surface stays in constant contact with the skin. The result is fewer indent marks on the finger after a few hours of wear, and less of the pinched, tired feeling a solid-backed wide ring causes over a full day. It's a functional detail as much as a decorative one, and you can see it clearly in the underside photo.

How does the ring look in person and on the hand?

Wide, flat, and covered in stone. The center Moissanite sits inside its beaded square halo, framed by a dense field of pavé that runs the full width of the face and down both shoulders. In direct sunlight or overhead lighting, the Moissanite throws strong rainbow flashes across the entire surface, not just at the center. The rhodium plated white gold finish sits bright white and mirror-polished. There is no plain metal, no empty ground — just stone, edge to edge. If you want subtle, this is not the right ring.

How long does the rhodium plating last?

Conservative baseline: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have reported eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and exposure to chemicals all affect the timeline. Re-plating is always free at the José Lux workshop — no time limit, no conditions.

What does the warranty cover?

This is a lifetime warranty, not a one- or two-year policy. Prong settings are built to hold, and stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare. If it does happen — no evidence of impact — Moissanite stone replacement is charged at our Hong Kong supplier's import cost only, never at retail, and re-setting labor is free. Rhodium re-plating is always free. What's not covered: impact damage — visible deformation of the band, the halo, or a prong seat from a drop or hard blow. José Lux inspects every case individually and communicates honestly.

How does sizing work?

This ring is made to order and sized specifically to your measurement. We use our own José Lux size chart, provided at checkout. There are no standard off-the-shelf sizes. You measure using our chart, submit your size when ordering, and we build the ring to that measurement at our Vietnam workshop.

How does shipping work?

Free USPS shipping to the United States and Europe. Tracking is sent the day your order ships. Estimated delivery: 7–14 business days to the US, 10–18 business days to Europe — customs adds time on that side, and we're upfront about that rather than promise a window we can't control. Every shipment is 100% insured at full order value. If something goes wrong in transit for any reason, including an incorrect delivery address, a full refund is issued.

Where is this ring made?

Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. The artisans setting your Moissanite stones, building the beaded halo, and cutting the ornamental gallery have been doing bench work for years — some for decades. The workshop is ours, not a third-party factory. That's how we control the setting quality and the finish on every piece that ships.

José Lux Buying Guide 5 FAQs

1. Is it safe to order online at José Lux?

Yes. Our store runs on Shopify, one of the world's most trusted ecommerce platforms. Shopify protects your personal information and your payment with SSL encryption and a secure checkout, so your details stay private and your payment is safe.

2. Do Moissanite and Cubic Zirconia Jewelry Come with GRA Certification?

The main Moissanite stone in each José Lux piece ships with its own GRA (Gemological Research Association) certificate. The report records the stone's color, clarity, cut, and size, and carries a unique report number traceable to that specific stone. Smaller Moissanite accent stones are the same material, hand-matched to the main stone, but they are not certified individually.

Swiss CZ pieces don't come with a GRA certificate. Instead, our CZ is imported with Swiss lot records, so every batch is documented.

3. Is José Lux Jewelry Quality and Accurately Described?

Every José Lux piece is handcrafted to order at our own workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, in 925 sterling silver or solid 10K and 14K gold. Before it ships, we check every prong and stone setting by hand, and each gold piece is tested for karat and stamped with its hallmark. Each listing states the metal, karat, and stones, and your piece is made to match. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen. If what arrives isn't what you ordered, we'll give you a full refund.

4. Is José Lux Jewelry Shipping Safe?

Yes. Your piece is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer, set inside a jewelry box, and packed in an outer protective box, so it doesn't shift or get scratched in transit. Every shipment is covered by 100% USPS jewelry insurance. If your order is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit, we cover it. We email your tracking number the day your order ships, so you can follow it all the way to your door.

5. How long does it take to receive my order?

Every piece is made to order, so your total time is production plus shipping, counted in business days.

Silver jewelry: Production takes 3–4 business days. Shipping via USPS takes 7–14 business days to the US, 10–15 to Europe, 7–12 to Asia, and 10–20 to other countries. From order to your door, that's about 10–18 business days to the US, 13–19 to Europe, 10–16 to Asia, and 13–24 to other countries.

Gold jewelry (10K and 14K): Gold ships to the United States only. Production takes 6–8 business days and shipping takes 5–7, so about 11–15 business days from order to your door.

We email your tracking number the day your order ships. Customs processing can add time on international orders.
