The structure is straightforward: a full-face band, face-set wall to wall with round brilliant Moissanite in a micro-pavé arrangement, running the entire width of the face. No blank silver. No gaps. Every millimeter of the face is stone.

What makes this build demanding isn't the stone count — it's the geometry. A wide pavé face has to be level. Every stone has to sit at the same depth. If one prong is short or one seat is cut too deep, the face reads uneven in direct light and you see it immediately. Our artisans have set hundreds of these. The ones that leave our workshop are flat, aligned, and consistent from edge to edge.

The edge detail — the hand-engraved leaf pattern running both rails — is cut by hand. That's visible in the photos. It adds structure to the profile view and gives the band a finish quality you don't see on pressed-out versions of this setting.

The Stones — Full Moissanite Pavé Face

Every stone on this ring is GRA-certified Moissanite. Not a mix. Not CZ center with Moissanite shoulders, or the reverse. The entire face — wall to wall, edge to edge — is set with round brilliant Moissanite. Each stone is lab-created silicon carbide: Color D, Colorless. Internally Flawless. 58 facets per stone.

Moissanite is not a diamond. We'll say that clearly: it's its own material with its own optical properties. It produces more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light — than diamond. In sunlight, overhead lighting, or any directional source, a full Moissanite pavé face does not sit quietly. It throws color from every angle. On a band this wide, that's the visual effect. If you want something that reads understated, this is not it.

Each ring ships with its own GRA certificate. Physical certificate, unique report ID, traceable to your specific batch. Not a card. Not a QR code. A gemological report in the same format used in professional trade documentation.

The Metal — 925 Sterling Silver

The band is 925 sterling silver — 92.5% pure silver, 7.5% copper for structural rigidity. Sterling silver is not a soft metal at this alloy ratio. It holds shape under daily wear. It holds the pavé prongs in position across the full face width. We use a properly gauged blank on this build — heavier than what you'll find in catalog versions of the same setting. That mass is what keeps a wide pavé face intact over years of real use.

The Finish — Rhodium Plated White Gold

Every ring comes out of our Vietnam workshop with a Rhodium Plated White Gold Finish applied by hand. Not machine-dipped. Hand-plated, controlled at the workshop level, checked by the same artisans who set the stones. The result is even coverage across the prong tips, the rail edges, and the face — the points where machine-dipping leaves thin spots.

Rhodium is harder than the silver underneath. It sits as a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline for this finish: three years of daily wear before any fading is noticeable. In practice, a number of our customers come back to re-plate after five years. Some have gone eight years of daily wear before the first re-plate. Skin chemistry, wear frequency, and chemical exposure all affect how long it holds.

Warranty and Repairs

Every prong on a José Lux ring is adjusted by hand at our Vietnam workshop. Stone loss from normal daily wear is extremely rare — that's a result of how the prongs are set, not luck.

If a stone does come loose or fall out under everyday use — no drops, no hard impacts, just daily wear — José Lux handles it:

Moissanite stone re-setting or replacement: Charged at our import cost from our Hong Kong supplier only. Never at retail. Re-setting labor is always free.

Rhodium re-plating: Always free at the José Lux workshop. No time limit, no conditions.

What's not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — a ring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible deformation consistent with a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually. If a repair falls outside the warranty, we fix it at cost, with a clear quote before anything is done.

A full-face pavé band is one of the more demanding builds in our range — not because of the stone count, but because the geometry has to be right across the entire face. The entire pavé face is Moissanite. José Lux states this clearly because it matters when you're deciding what you're buying.

What is Moissanite and how does it differ from diamond?

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a diamond and we won't describe it as one. It has higher refractive index than diamond, which means more fire — more rainbow dispersion in directional light. On a wide pavé band like this one, that fire is front and center in any direct light source. It's a different stone with different optical behavior. If you want diamond, buy diamond. If you want a lab-created stone with strong fire and GRA documentation, this is a solid choice.

What is the hand-engraved edge detail I see in the photos?

The rail edges — the two metal strips running along the top and bottom of the band face — are engraved by hand with a leaf pattern at our Vietnam workshop. You can see it in the profile-view photos. It's not stamped or machine-cut. Each line is done on the bench. It adds visual structure from the side angle and gives the band more finish detail than a plain-rail pavé design.

How does the ring look in person and on the hand?

Wide, flat, and covered in stone. The full Moissanite pavé face reads as a wall of light from the front. In direct sunlight or overhead lighting, the Moissanite throws strong rainbow flashes across the face. The rhodium plated white gold finish sits bright white and mirror-polished. The hand-engraved rail gives the profile a structured look. From the top, the ring reads bold and solid. There is no solitaire, no empty metal — just stone, edge to edge. If you want subtle, this is not the right ring.

How long does the rhodium plating last?
