Ask José Lux which Miami Cuban Link width sells the most and the answer is 7mm. It sits in the middle of our line for a reason: enough presence to read as a real piece of jewelry on its own, not so much weight that it feels like the only thing you can wear that day. Same build as the rest of the line — kite-shaped interlocking links, Swiss CZ hand-set across every face, rhodium plated white gold finish hand-applied at our Vietnam workshop — at the width most men land on once they’ve tried the others.

Every link face on this bracelet carries Swiss CZ, set by hand, with no plain sections anywhere along the chain. 925 sterling silver underneath, rhodium plated white gold finish on top. Three sizes — 7.0 inch (18cm), 7.5 inch (19cm), and 8.0 inch (20cm) — are available, and the sizing section below walks you through picking the right one.

The Miami Cuban Link — What It Is and How It Wears

Cuban Link is built from kite-shaped links that interlock at a tight angle and lie flat against the skin once worn. Miami Cuban Link takes that structure and pavé-sets every link face with stones instead of leaving the metal bare. At 7mm, the link size is large enough that each individual stone cluster is still distinguishable up close, while the chain as a whole reads as one continuous bright surface from normal viewing distance.

That balance is the point of this width. A narrower piece blurs into a single line of light and loses the individual link detail; a much wider piece can start to feel heavy on a daily-wear bracelet. 7mm holds the middle ground — you get the texture of the Cuban Link pattern and the brightness of full pavé coverage without either one canceling the other out.

It’s also the width that works whether you wear one bracelet or three. Solo, it has enough weight to feel intentional rather than thin. Stacked, it doesn’t overpower a slimmer piece next to it the way a 9mm chain can.

Swiss CZ — Pavé Set, Stone by Stone

Every stone on this bracelet is Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia, lab-grown and cut specifically for brilliance. José Lux doesn’t call it a diamond and doesn’t market it as a substitute for one. It’s its own material, chosen because it holds up to daily wear and throws serious light at a price that makes a fully paved bracelet realistic.

At 7mm, each link face has enough room for a proper cluster of stones rather than a single small accent, which is part of why the sparkle reads so evenly across the whole bracelet. José Lux artisans hand-set every stone into position — checking depth and angle individually — rather than running a uniform setting pass across the chain.

Because José Lux imports Swiss CZ in volume, re-setting a stone that works loose under normal wear doesn’t cost you anything, for as long as you own the bracelet. Full terms are in the warranty section below.

The Metal and Plating

925 sterling silver — 92.5% silver, 7.5% copper for structural strength. At 7mm there’s more metal per link than on a narrower bracelet, which gives the chain a slightly firmer hand-feel without adding noticeable weight to the wrist.

The rhodium plated white gold finish is hand-applied at our Vietnam workshop, not machine-dipped. With every link face carrying its own cluster of stones, an artisan has to work the plating solution into each recessed setting individually — a dip tank can’t reach those spots evenly the way a hand-applied pass can.

Rhodium is harder than gold and forms a barrier between the silver and the air. Conservative baseline: three years of regular daily wear before fading becomes noticeable. Many José Lux customers report five years or more before they need a refresh. Re-plating is always free at the workshop, with no time limit.

The Clasp — Hand-Finished Box Clasp with Safety Lock

The clasp is a box closure with a hinged safety latch, hand-built and hand-finished at the José Lux workshop to match this bracelet's width. The box engages the terminal link, and the latch folds down over the box afterward — two points of closure working together instead of relying on one.

A bracelet clasp does more work than a necklace clasp. It knocks against desks, doorframes, and steering wheels all day, every day. A single-point closure tends to loosen under that kind of repeated contact; the box-and-latch design holds its tension instead. Taking the bracelet off is still a one-hand motion — lift the latch, press the box release, it comes free.

Every clasp is bench-tested before the bracelet ships. If the tension isn’t right, José Lux adjusts it. If it can’t be adjusted to our standard, it’s replaced before the order goes out.

Sizing

Three sizes: 7.0 inch (18cm), 7.5 inch (19cm), and 8.0 inch (20cm). Size 7.0 suits smaller wrists, 7.5 is the size most men at José Lux order, and 8.0 covers larger wrists comfortably. If you’re between two sizes, size up — a 7mm Cuban Link should have a little give, not sit pulled tight against the wrist bone.

Not sure which size is yours? José Lux has a short wrist-measuring video on the product page — wrap a soft tape, or a strip of paper and a ruler, around your wrist just below the bone, then match that number to the size chart above. Takes under a minute.

Care

The rhodium plated white gold finish protects the silver, but a fully paved bracelet still picks up dust and skin oil between the stones over the course of a day. Keep it away from chlorine, bleach, and strong household cleaners, and avoid spraying perfume directly onto it — all three speed up finish wear.

Daily maintenance is simple: wipe it down with the polishing cloth José Lux includes with every order. Under a minute, handles ordinary surface residue.

For a deeper clean: warm water, a drop of mild dish soap, a soft brush worked gently across the link faces and between the stones, rinse thoroughly, pat dry, and let it air dry completely before putting it away.

Warranty

José Lux's goal is straightforward: this bracelet should still be on your wrist years from now, not retired to a drawer after a few months.

Re-plating is always free, with no time limit. The rhodium finish fades eventually with daily wear — that's expected, not a defect — and when it does, José Lux re-plates it at no charge.

Stone re-setting is free as well. Every stone on this bracelet is Swiss CZ, and José Lux imports it in volume specifically so re-setting a loose stone never costs the customer anything.

Clasp issues from normal daily wear — no impact, no force applied — are repaired or replaced at no charge. Describe what happened and José Lux takes it from there.

What isn't covered: visible damage from a hard pull, a drop, or an impact. Each case gets inspected individually, and if a repair falls outside the warranty, José Lux quotes the cost clearly before doing any work.

Shipping

Free via USPS to the United States and Europe, with tracking sent the day the order ships. Estimated delivery is 7–14 business days. European orders can occasionally run into customs delays — José Lux says so upfront rather than promise a timeline we can't guarantee.

Every shipment is insured at 100% of order value. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — or if an incorrect address was entered at checkout, a full refund is issued.

The bracelet ships inside an anti-shock inner box, packed inside an outer gift box, along with a silver polishing cloth and a José Lux workshop warranty card.

Our Workshop

José Lux is based in Vietnam. The artisans who hand-set your Swiss CZ stones and hand-plate your bracelet have been doing this for years — the 7mm passes through their hands more often than any other width we make.

A fully paved Miami Cuban Link looks simple in a photo. Getting even plating across dozens of recessed stone settings, hand-setting each stone at the right depth, and tuning the clasp tension on a bracelet that moves constantly — none of that is simple, regardless of width. José Lux has been doing this long enough to know where cheaper versions of this bracelet fail: stones that loosen within months, plating that wears unevenly around the settings, clasps that pop open under ordinary wrist movement. This one doesn't have those problems, because the work is done right from the first link.

Your bracelet arrives protected — Two-layer box packaging, USPS insured

Your bracelet ships in two layers of packaging. The inner jewelry box holds the bracelet securely in place. The outer box protects everything during transit. On top of that, the bracelet itself is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer before it goes into the box — so there’s no movement, no impact damage, nothing shifts in transit.

Shipping is via USPS with 100% jewelry insurance on every order. If something goes wrong in transit — lost, delayed, damaged — we cover it. Even if an address was entered incorrectly at checkout, José Lux refunds you in full. You either receive your bracelet in perfect condition, or you get your money back. That’s the José Lux standard.

FAQ

What is a Miami Cuban Link bracelet?

It's a Cuban Link pattern — interlocking kite-shaped links — set with stones across every link face rather than left plain. At 7mm, José Lux's most-ordered width, the link is large enough for visible stone clusters while still reading as one bright, continuous chain on the wrist.

How does the 7mm compare to José Lux's 6mm and 9mm Cuban Link bracelets?

It's the middle option, both in width and in how it wears. The 6mm sits lower-profile and is built for layering next to a watch or another piece. The 9mm is the standalone statement width — noticeably heavier presence. The 7mm sits between the two: visible enough to wear alone, not so wide that it can't be paired with something else. All three share the same Swiss CZ pavé, 925 silver, and rhodium plated white gold finish.

Are the stones diamonds?

No. Every stone is Swiss CZ — cubic zirconia. José Lux is upfront about this and won't describe it any other way, even though a fully paved 7mm bracelet throws a lot of light. If a center-stone Moissanite piece is what you're after, José Lux carries that line separately.

What sizes does this bracelet come in?

Three sizes: 7.0 inch (18cm), 7.5 inch (19cm), and 8.0 inch (20cm). Size 7.5 is the most common order. If you're between sizes, size up — the bracelet should move slightly on the wrist, not sit pulled tight. José Lux has a short wrist-measuring video on the product page if you'd like to confirm before ordering.

How does the clasp work?

A box closure with a hinged safety latch, hand-built and tension-tested at the José Lux workshop. The box locks over the terminal link, the latch folds down for a second point of security, and the whole thing opens with one hand — lift the latch, press the box, done.

How does the rhodium plating work and how long does it last?

Hand-applied at the Vietnam workshop, not machine-dipped, so the plating reaches every recessed stone setting evenly. Conservative baseline is three years of daily wear before fading. Many customers report five years or more. Re-plating is always free, with no time limit.

How does shipping work?

Free USPS to the US and Europe, tracking sent the day the order ships, estimated delivery 7–14 business days. European customs can occasionally add time. Every shipment is 100% insured, including coverage for an incorrect delivery address.

Where is this bracelet made?

Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Vietnam. The same artisans who set the stones and apply the plating on every width in the Cuban Link line build the 7mm — it's the size most of them set first, given how often it ships.
