Handmade Moissanite Daisy Cluster Ring — 10K & 14K Gold, GRA Certified Moissanite

José Lux builds the Moissanite Daisy Cluster Ring in 10K gold (41.7% pure gold) and 14K gold (58.3% pure gold), in Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. The gold weight is 1.06 g in 10K gold and 1.19 g in 14K gold. Every stone on this ring is Moissanite, GRA Certified at the center — there’s no Swiss CZ anywhere on the ring. A small cluster of round Moissanite stones sits at the top of the band, built around one center stone with six petal stones set close around it, forming the daisy shape you see in the photos. On either side of the cluster, two sculpted gold leaves frame the flower, and a curling gold vine sweeps off to one side like a stem caught mid-turn. Unlike our Flower Cluster and Split Shank rings, where the sparkle spreads across a wider setting, the Daisy Cluster keeps it concentrated in one small cluster, framed by plain polished gold.

The leaves and the curling vine carry no stones at all — they’re sculpted, polished gold, shaped and finished by hand at the bench. Getting that curl to sit even and catch light the same way on both sides of a mirrored pair takes more filing and polishing than a straight leaf would. The band itself stays a plain, rounded profile the rest of the way around, so the cluster and its gold leaves are the only detail on the ring. We’ve been alloying gold and setting Moissanite at the same bench in Hồ Chí Minh City for years. The Daisy Cluster is a small setting, but a plain band leaves nowhere to hide an uneven prong or an off-center leaf.

The Moissanite Cluster — One Flower, Framed in Gold

The center stone is GRA Certified Moissanite — Color D-FL, colorless and internally flawless, Mohs 9.25. It ships with its own GRA report, carrying a unique laser-inscribed ID traceable to that specific stone. Moissanite isn’t a diamond, and José Lux won’t tell you it is. It’s lab-created silicon carbide with its own optical signature — more fire than diamond, which means more rainbow flash under direct light.

The six petal stones set around the center are the same material, cut and matched to the center stone for color and brilliance. José Lux hand-selects each one at the bench so the cluster reads as one flower, not seven separate stones. What they don’t carry is an individual GRA report — grading each melee-sized petal stone on a cluster this small isn’t practical at this price point, and we’d rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise. The center stone is the one with the paperwork. The petal stones are the same certified-grade Moissanite, hand-set, without individual certificates.

The gold leaves and the curling vine beside the cluster are metal only — no stones, no pavé. That’s a deliberate choice on this design: the sparkle stays concentrated in the daisy, and the leaves read as a quiet, polished contrast next to it.

The Gold and Karat Options

The band is solid gold — never gold-filled, never gold-plated. José Lux offers the Daisy Cluster Ring in 10K gold (41.7% pure gold) and 14K gold (58.3% pure gold). 10K carries less pure gold and more of the harder alloy metals, so it resists everyday scratching a little better — worth knowing on a plain rounded band like this one, built for daily wear rather than occasional. 14K carries more pure gold, which reads deeper and warmer, especially in Yellow Gold. Neither is the “better” metal — they’re two different tradeoffs, and José Lux sells both instead of steering you toward one.

Every karat comes in Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. The color isn’t a coating — it comes from the alloy formula, the ratio of copper, silver, zinc, or palladium mixed into the gold during alloying. José Lux’s White Gold is nickel-free; the white tone comes from silver, zinc, or palladium in the mix, not nickel, which matters if you’re sensitive to it.

Every ring goes through four stages at the José Lux workshop before it ships. We alloy 24K gold down to 10K or 14K by hand, in the exact ratio for the karat and color ordered. The band, leaves, and vine are cast from a 3D CAD design using lost-wax casting, then hand-set with the Moissanite cluster stone by stone, and polished to finish. Before it leaves Hồ Chí Minh City, we test the karat with an XRF machine, check for nickel, and stamp the legal karat hallmark.

The center stone ships with a full GRA gemological report — Color D-FL, Mohs 9.25, and a unique report number traceable to that stone. It’s a Moissanite report, not a diamond grading report, and José Lux states that plainly rather than let the paperwork imply something it isn’t.

Warranty and Repairs

Every José Lux gold ring carries a lifetime warranty. Repairs are free — for life, no expiration date. Every prong on the daisy cluster is checked and adjusted by hand before the ring ships, which is why a stone coming loose from normal daily wear is rare.

If a Moissanite stone does come loose under everyday use — no drops, no impact — José Lux resets it for free, center stone or petal stone. What’s not covered: stone loss from a hard impact, a drop, or a strike against a hard surface. That’s not treated as a manufacturing defect. The gold leaves and vine are solid cast metal, not set stones, so they hold up the same way the rest of the band does — but a sharp knock can still bend a raised leaf tip, and that kind of impact damage is reviewed the same way stone damage is. José Lux reviews every case individually before deciding next steps, and if a repair falls outside the warranty, we’ll still fix it at cost, with a quote before anything is done.

Our Workshop

The same team that alloys the gold sets the daisy cluster and polishes each leaf and vine by hand — nothing about this ring passes through a third-party factory. A plain band gives a small cluster setting nowhere to hide: the prongs have to sit even, the leaves have to mirror each other, and the vine has to curl the same way on every ring that leaves the bench. We’ve done it enough times to know where it goes wrong, and where it holds.

Is every stone on this ring Moissanite, or is some of it CZ?

Every stone on the Moissanite Daisy Cluster Ring is Moissanite — center and petal stones. That’s different from José Lux’s channel and pavé settings on other lines, which pair a Moissanite center with Swiss CZ (Cubic Zirconia) accents. Here, there’s no CZ anywhere on the ring — and the gold leaves and curling vine beside the cluster carry no stones at all, CZ or Moissanite. The center stone carries its own GRA certificate; the petal stones are the same material, hand-matched, without individual reports.
