José Lux builds the Moissanite Daisy Flower Ring in 10K gold (41.7% pure gold) and 14K gold (58.3% pure gold), in Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. The gold weight is 1.20 g in 10K gold and 1.35 g in 14K gold. Every stone on this ring is Moissanite, GRA Certified at the center — there’s no Swiss CZ anywhere on the ring. A round center stone sits bezel-set at the middle of an eight-petal daisy, with four plain polished petals and four Moissanite-set petals alternating around it. Each stone-set petal carries two round stones stacked toward the tip. It’s a different structure from our other Daisy ring, which builds a small cluster framed by separate leaves and a vine — here, the flower itself is the whole design, full-size petals radiating out from a bezel-set center.

Alternating plain and stone-set petals around a center takes more layout precision than a symmetric cluster — every other petal has to match its neighbor exactly, in both the smooth petals and the stone-set ones, or the daisy reads uneven. The bezel around the center stone is cut and polished by hand so the metal rim sits flush against the stone’s edge all the way around, with no gap for dust or catching on fabric. We’ve been alloying gold and setting Moissanite at the same bench in Hồ Chí Minh City for years. The Daisy Flower is a wide, flat setting, and flat settings show every uneven edge — there’s nowhere for an off-center petal to hide.

The Moissanite Setting — Bezel Center, Petal Stones

The center stone is GRA Certified Moissanite — Color D-FL, colorless and internally flawless, Mohs 9.25. It ships with its own GRA report, carrying a unique laser-inscribed ID traceable to that specific stone. Moissanite isn’t a diamond, and José Lux won’t tell you it is. It’s lab-created silicon carbide with its own optical signature — more fire than diamond, which means more rainbow flash under direct light.

The center stone sits in a bezel setting — a rim of metal that wraps fully around the stone’s edge, rather than prongs holding it at a few points. That’s a more protective setting for a stone at the middle of a wide, flat flower: less of the stone’s girdle is exposed to a direct knock.

The eight stones set into the petals are the same material, cut and matched to the center stone for color and brilliance. José Lux hand-selects every stone at the bench so the set petals read as consistent, not patchy — two stones per petal, four petals, matched in pairs. What they don’t carry is an individual GRA report — grading each melee-sized petal stone on a ring this detailed isn’t practical at this price point, and we’d rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise. The center stone is the one with the paperwork. The petal stones are the same certified-grade Moissanite, hand-set, without individual certificates.

The four plain petals carry no stones at all — they’re sculpted, polished gold, alternating with the stone-set petals around the flower. That contrast, smooth petal next to sparkling petal, is what gives the daisy its shape.

The Gold and Karat Options

The band is solid gold — never gold-filled, never gold-plated. José Lux offers the Daisy Flower Ring in 10K gold (41.7% pure gold) and 14K gold (58.3% pure gold). 10K carries less pure gold and more of the harder alloy metals, so it resists everyday scratching a little better. 14K carries more pure gold, which reads deeper and warmer, especially in Yellow Gold. Neither is the “better” metal — they’re two different tradeoffs, and José Lux sells both instead of steering you toward one.

Every karat comes in Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. The color isn’t a coating — it comes from the alloy formula, the ratio of copper, silver, zinc, or palladium mixed into the gold during alloying. José Lux’s White Gold is nickel-free; the white tone comes from silver, zinc, or palladium in the mix, not nickel, which matters if you’re sensitive to it.

Every ring goes through four stages at the José Lux workshop before it ships. We alloy 24K gold down to 10K or 14K by hand, in the exact ratio for the karat and color ordered. The band and the eight petals are cast from a 3D CAD design using lost-wax casting, then hand-set with the Moissanite stones petal by petal, and polished to finish. Before it leaves Hồ Chí Minh City, we test the karat with an XRF machine, check for nickel, and stamp the legal karat hallmark.

Certification

The center stone ships with a full GRA gemological report — Color D-FL, Mohs 9.25, and a unique report number traceable to that stone. It’s a Moissanite report, not a diamond grading report, and José Lux states that plainly rather than let the paperwork imply something it isn’t.

Warranty and Repairs

Every José Lux gold ring carries a lifetime warranty. Repairs are free — for life, no expiration date. Every prong on the petal stones and the bezel around the center stone are checked and adjusted by hand before the ring ships, which is why a stone coming loose from normal daily wear is rare.

If a Moissanite stone does come loose under everyday use — no drops, no impact — José Lux resets it for free, center stone or petal stone. What’s not covered: stone loss from a hard impact, a drop, or a strike against a hard surface. That’s not treated as a manufacturing defect. The petals sit flat and wide across the finger, so they catch more surface contact during daily wear than a narrow setting would — worth knowing if you wear rings while doing hands-on work. José Lux reviews every case individually before deciding next steps, and if a repair falls outside the warranty, we’ll still fix it at cost, with a quote before anything is done.

Shipping

Ships free via USPS to the United States. Delivery takes 5–7 business days. Every order is 100% insured on its declared value — including cases where an incorrect address was provided at checkout. If something goes wrong in transit, you’re covered in full.

Your ring travels inside a shock-absorbing layer, packed in its own jewelry box, then inside a protective outer box. Every order includes a cleaning cloth and a José Lux warranty card. The same team that set your daisy petals is the one that packs and ships your order.

Our Workshop

José Lux works out of Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam. The same team that alloys the gold sets the bezel, pairs the petal stones, and polishes every plain petal by hand — nothing about this ring passes through a third-party factory. A wide, flat daisy is unforgiving: eight petals have to sit even, the plain ones have to mirror each other, and the bezel has to sit flush around the center stone with no gap. We’ve done it enough times to know where it goes wrong, and where it holds.

FAQ

Is every stone on this ring Moissanite, or is some of it CZ?

Every stone on the Moissanite Daisy Flower Ring is Moissanite — the center stone and every petal stone. That’s different from José Lux’s channel and pavé settings on other lines, which pair a Moissanite center with Swiss CZ (Cubic Zirconia) accents. Here, there’s no CZ anywhere on the ring — and the four plain petals carry no stones at all, CZ or Moissanite. The center stone carries its own GRA certificate; the petal stones are the same material, hand-matched, without individual reports.

How is this different from José Lux's Moissanite Daisy Cluster Ring?

The Daisy Cluster Ring builds a small, dense cluster of stones framed by separate sculpted leaves and a curling vine. The Daisy Flower Ring is a different design entirely — a full eight-petal flower, with the petals themselves alternating between plain polished gold and paired Moissanite stones, around a bezel-set center stone. The flower is the whole setting here, not a cluster with a frame around it.

What's the difference between 10K and 14K gold?

10K gold is 41.7% pure gold; 14K gold is 58.3% pure gold. 10K carries more of the harder alloy metals, so it resists everyday scratching a little better. 14K carries more pure gold, which reads richer and warmer, especially in Yellow Gold. Both are solid gold — José Lux never sells gold-filled or gold-plated pieces.

Is this ring solid gold, or is it plated?

Solid gold, in both karats. José Lux doesn’t sell gold-filled, gold vermeil, or gold-plated pieces on this line. The color — Yellow, White, or Rose — comes from what’s alloyed into the gold, not a surface coating.

How is the Daisy Flower set?

A round center stone sits bezel-set at the middle, where eight petals meet. Four petals are plain, polished gold with no stones. The other four alternate in with a pair of round Moissanite stones set into each one, prong-set toward the tip. The result is a full daisy shape, not a small cluster.

What does the warranty cover?

A lifetime warranty with free repairs. If a Moissanite stone — center or petal — comes loose from normal daily wear, José Lux resets it at no charge. Damage from a drop or a hard impact isn’t covered as a manufacturing defect, and the wide, flat petals catch more daily surface contact than a narrow band would, so it’s worth being mindful during hands-on work. José Lux reviews those cases individually and quotes any repair before starting it.

How does shipping work?

Free USPS to the United States, 5–7 business days. Every order is 100% insured on its declared value, including cases where the shipping address was entered incorrectly at checkout.

Where is this ring made?

Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam — alloying, casting, stone-setting, and polishing all happen at the same bench.

José Lux Buying Guide 5 FAQs

1. Is it safe to order online at José Lux?

Yes. Our store runs on Shopify, one of the world's most trusted ecommerce platforms. Shopify protects your personal information and your payment with SSL encryption and a secure checkout, so your details stay private and your payment is safe.

2. Do Moissanite and Cubic Zirconia Jewelry Come with GRA Certification?

The main Moissanite stone in each José Lux piece ships with its own GRA (Gemological Research Association) certificate. The report records the stone's color, clarity, cut, and size, and carries a unique report number traceable to that specific stone. Smaller Moissanite accent stones are the same material, hand-matched to the main stone, but they are not certified individually.

Swiss CZ pieces don't come with a GRA certificate. Instead, our CZ is imported with Swiss lot records, so every batch is documented.

3. Is José Lux Jewelry Quality and Accurately Described?

Every José Lux piece is handcrafted to order at our own workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, in 925 sterling silver or solid 10K and 14K gold. Before it ships, we check every prong and stone setting by hand, and each gold piece is tested for karat and stamped with its hallmark. Each listing states the metal, karat, and stones, and your piece is made to match. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen. If what arrives isn't what you ordered, we'll give you a full refund.

4. Is José Lux Jewelry Shipping Safe?

Yes. Your piece is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer, set inside a jewelry box, and packed in an outer protective box, so it doesn't shift or get scratched in transit. Every shipment is covered by 100% USPS jewelry insurance. If your order is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit, we cover it. We email your tracking number the day your order ships, so you can follow it all the way to your door.

5. How long does it take to receive my order?

Every piece is made to order, so your total time is production plus shipping, counted in business days.

Silver jewelry: Production takes 3–4 business days. Shipping via USPS takes 7–14 business days to the US, 10–15 to Europe, 7–12 to Asia, and 10–20 to other countries. From order to your door, that's about 10–18 business days to the US, 13–19 to Europe, 10–16 to Asia, and 13–24 to other countries.

Gold jewelry (10K and 14K): Gold ships to the United States only. Production takes 6–8 business days and shipping takes 5–7, so about 11–15 business days from order to your door.

We email your tracking number the day your order ships. Customs processing can add time on international orders.
