José Lux builds these Moissanite flower cluster stud earrings in solid 10K gold — 41.7% pure gold — in Yellow Gold. Every stone on these earrings is Moissanite, and there’s no Swiss CZ anywhere on the pair. A small gold flower sits at the middle of each earring. A ring of small round Moissanite stones circles it, and larger round Moissanite stones sit in gold petal outlines around the edge. You get a pair — two earrings, one for each ear — and each one closes with a screw-back post in 10K gold.

A flower cluster is a different build from a single prong-set stone. Each petal is its own small setting, and the stones inside it have to sit level with the ones beside it for the cluster to read as one flower. The inner ring has to close around the gold center without a gap. We set every stone by hand, prong by prong. It takes more bench time than a solitaire, because one stone out of line shows across the whole face. We alloy the gold and set the stones at the same bench in Hồ Chí Minh City, and the flower cluster is one of the more detailed studs we make.

Full Moissanite — Center to Edge

Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide, rated Mohs 9.25 on the hardness scale. It isn’t a diamond, and José Lux won’t tell you it is. It has its own optical signature: strong fire, which shows as rainbow flash under direct light. On these earrings that flash comes from every stone, not from one point in the middle.

That’s a different structure from our halo and cluster studs that pair a Moissanite center stone with Swiss CZ (Cubic Zirconia) accents. Here, the sparkle runs stone to stone, all the way out to the edge of the petals. We hand-select every stone at the bench so the petals match in color and cut and read as consistent instead of patchy.

Because the light is spread across the whole flower, the earring catches light across its full width as you move your head, not only in the middle.

The 10K Yellow Gold and the Screw-Back Post

These earrings are solid gold — never gold-filled, never gold-plated. 10K gold is 41.7% pure gold. The post and the screw-back are 10K gold too, so the metal inside your ear is the same karat as the front of the earring. The color is Yellow Gold. It comes from the alloy formula — the ratio of copper, silver, zinc, or palladium mixed into the gold — not from a coating.

The back turns onto the post and locks the earring in place. Unscrew it and the earring comes apart, so you can take it off and clean the post and the back whenever they need it. Two trade-offs to know about. 10K gold carries less pure gold than 14K gold — 58.3% pure gold — so the yellow reads a little lighter; in exchange, 10K holds up better against everyday scratching because it carries more of the harder alloy metals. And a screw-back takes a few seconds longer to fasten than a push-back.

How We Make Them

Every pair goes through four stages at the José Lux workshop before it ships. We alloy 24K gold down to 10K by hand, in the exact ratio for the karat and the Yellow Gold color. Each earring is cast from a 3D CAD design using lost-wax casting. Then we cut, file, and solder the pieces, set every Moissanite stone by hand, and polish the pair to a mirror finish. Before it leaves Hồ Chí Minh City, we test the karat with an XRF machine, check for nickel, and stamp the legal karat hallmark. Prices are factory-direct — no wholesale middleman sits between our bench and you.

Fit and Wear

The price is for a pair: two earrings. The pair carries 1.66 grams of 10K gold, not counting the stones. Each earring is a stud, so the flower sits flat against the lobe and close to the face. Wear them alone as the one bright point in each ear, or add a small huggie in a second piercing for the evening.

Care

Wipe the pair with the jewelry cleaning cloth in the box. To clean the post and the back, unscrew each back, clean both parts, then screw it on again.

Warranty and Repairs

Every José Lux gold earring carries a lifetime warranty. Repairs are free — for life, no expiration date. We check and adjust every prong on the flower by hand before the pair ships, which is why a stone coming loose under normal daily wear is rare. If one does, resetting a Moissanite stone is always free.
