José Lux builds the Moissanite Four Leaf Clover Ring in 10K gold (41.7% pure gold) and 14K gold (58.3% pure gold), in Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. The gold weight is 1.07 g in 10K gold and 1.20 g in 14K gold. Every stone on this ring is Moissanite, GRA Certified at the center — there’s no Swiss CZ anywhere on the ring. A round center stone sits where four open, heart-shaped gold loops meet, arranged like a four-leaf clover reaching up, down, and out to each side. Each of the four leaves holds its own round Moissanite stone near the tip, so the clover shape carries sparkle all the way to the edges instead of stopping at the center. It’s a different structure from our other cluster rings, where surrounding stones sit packed close together — here, the four stones sit apart, each one framed by its own leaf.

Setting a stone into the tip of an open leaf loop takes more precision than setting into a solid pocket — the prongs have to hold the stone at the exact spot where the leaf narrows, without the loop losing its shape. All four leaves have to match in size and curve for the clover to read as symmetric, and the center stone has to sit level where all four leaves cross. We’ve been alloying gold and setting Moissanite at the same bench in Hồ Chí Minh City for years. The Four Leaf Clover is a small setting with five stones spread across it instead of clustered — every leaf has to carry its own weight.

The Moissanite Setting — Five Stones, Four Leaves

The center stone is GRA Certified Moissanite — Color D-FL, colorless and internally flawless, Mohs 9.25. It ships with its own GRA report, carrying a unique laser-inscribed ID traceable to that specific stone. Moissanite isn’t a diamond, and José Lux won’t tell you it is. It’s lab-created silicon carbide with its own optical signature — more fire than diamond, which means more rainbow flash under direct light.

The four stones set into the clover leaves are the same material, cut and matched to the center stone for color and brilliance. José Lux hand-selects each one at the bench so all five stones read as one family, not four smaller stones added around a bigger one. What they don’t carry is an individual GRA report — grading four separate leaf-tip stones on a ring this size isn’t practical at this price point, and we’d rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise. The center stone is the one with the paperwork. The four leaf stones are the same certified-grade Moissanite, hand-set, without individual certificates.

Because the stones sit spread across four points instead of packed into one cluster, the clover catches light from more angles as your hand moves, rather than flashing from one fixed spot.

The Gold and Karat Options

The band is solid gold — never gold-filled, never gold-plated. José Lux offers the Four Leaf Clover Ring in 10K gold (41.7% pure gold) and 14K gold (58.3% pure gold). 10K carries less pure gold and more of the harder alloy metals, so it resists everyday scratching a little better. 14K carries more pure gold, which reads deeper and warmer, especially in Yellow Gold. Neither is the “better” metal — they’re two different tradeoffs, and José Lux sells both instead of steering you toward one.

Every karat comes in Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. The color isn’t a coating — it comes from the alloy formula, the ratio of copper, silver, zinc, or palladium mixed into the gold during alloying. José Lux’s White Gold is nickel-free; the white tone comes from silver, zinc, or palladium in the mix, not nickel, which matters if you’re sensitive to it.

Every ring goes through four stages at the José Lux workshop before it ships. We alloy 24K gold down to 10K or 14K by hand, in the exact ratio for the karat and color ordered. The band and the four leaves are cast from a 3D CAD design using lost-wax casting, then hand-set with the Moissanite stones one leaf at a time, and polished to finish. Before it leaves Hồ Chí Minh City, we test the karat with an XRF machine, check for nickel, and stamp the legal karat hallmark.

The center stone ships with a full GRA gemological report — Color D-FL, Mohs 9.25, and a unique report number traceable to that stone. It’s a Moissanite report, not a diamond grading report, and José Lux states that plainly rather than let the paperwork imply something it isn’t.

Warranty and Repairs

Every José Lux gold ring carries a lifetime warranty. Repairs are free — for life, no expiration date. Every prong across all five stones is checked and adjusted by hand before the ring ships, which is why a stone coming loose from normal daily wear is rare.

If a Moissanite stone does come loose under everyday use — no drops, no impact — José Lux resets it for free, center stone or leaf stone. What’s not covered: stone loss from a hard impact, a drop, or a strike against a hard surface. That’s not treated as a manufacturing defect. Each leaf stone sits at the tip of an open loop rather than inside a solid setting, so it carries less metal around it than the center stone does — worth knowing if you catch rings on things often. José Lux reviews every case individually before deciding next steps, and if a repair falls outside the warranty, we’ll still fix it at cost, with a quote before anything is done.

José Lux works out of Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam. The same team that alloys the gold sets the center stone and each leaf tip by hand — nothing about this ring passes through a third-party factory. Five stones spread across four open leaves is a different challenge than one dense cluster: every leaf has to match its neighbors, and every prong has to hold its stone at the exact point where the metal is thinnest. We’ve done it enough times to know where it goes wrong, and where it holds.

Every stone on the Moissanite Four Leaf Clover Ring is Moissanite — the center stone and all four leaf stones. That’s different from José Lux’s channel and pavé settings on other lines, which pair a Moissanite center with Swiss CZ (Cubic Zirconia) accents. Here, there’s no CZ anywhere on the ring. The center stone carries its own GRA certificate; the four leaf stones are the same material, hand-matched, without individual reports.
