Moissanite is lab-created silicon carbide. It is not a diamond and José Lux won't tell you it is. It has its own optical character — more fire than diamond, which means stronger rainbow dispersion in directional light. In a halo design like this one, the Moissanite center stone sits elevated above the CZ frame. The fire reads in every direction.

In direct sunlight, the center stone throws strong color flashes. In indoor lighting, it stays bright and white. The twist halo frame doesn't compete with that — the Swiss CZ accent stones catch light at a different register than the center stone. The two work together. That's the point of the design.

The Twist Halo Frame and Swiss CZ Accent Stones

Screw-back closures are more secure than push-back closures for daily wear. The nut threads onto the post rather than relying on friction. Once tightened, it doesn't loosen during normal movement. What's not covered: stones lost due to hard physical impact — an earring dropped from height, struck against a hard surface, or showing visible prong deformation from a fall. José Lux inspects each case individually and communicates honestly about what's observed. If a repair falls outside warranty, we still fix it — at cost, with a clear quote before any work is done.

Our workshop is in Vietnam. The artisans who hand-set Moissanite stones, place Swiss CZ accents, and plate silver posts have been doing this work for years — longer than most jewelry brands have been selling online.
