The Post and Screw-Back — Sterling Silver

The post, screw-back nut, and backplate disc are all 925 sterling silver. Solid silver throughout. No brass. No base metal at any point of contact with the ear.

The screw-back threads onto the post and locks mechanically. Wind the nut clockwise until it sits securely against the back of the lobe. That mechanical lock holds throughout daily movement, exercise, and sleep. A push-back closure uses spring friction — friction that weakens with every daily removal. A screw-back doesn't degrade that way. It stays locked until you actively unscrew it.

The full screw-back assembly detaches completely from the post. With the back removed, the full earring face — center stone, halo ring, all the gaps between them — is open for cleaning.
