José Lux builds the Templar Cross Signet Ring in 10K gold (41.7% pure gold) and 14K gold (58.3% pure gold), in Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. Gold weight is 8.83 g in 10K gold and 9.93 g in 14K gold. At the center, a Templar cross sits raised on a shield-shaped face, with a sword laid diagonally across it — there's no gemstone at the center. Each of the cross's four flared arms holds a small cluster of round Moissanite stones, and the sword's hilt carries two more. Down each shoulder, a diagonal ray pattern of pavé-set Moissanite fans out from the base of the shield. Every stone on this ring is Moissanite — there's no Swiss CZ anywhere on the band.

Carving a cross and sword in relief, then setting stone clusters into four narrow, flared arms, is a different kind of work than a plain stone setting. Each arm has to stay wide enough at the setting point to hold three stones securely without weakening the flare at the tip, and the sword's hilt is modeled with its own detail before it's set across the cross. Below the shield, a fan of small triangular facets marks the transition into the shoulders, where the diagonal ray pattern of pavé Moissanite has to fan out evenly and match on both sides. José Lux hand-carves the medallion first, then sets each cluster and ray stone at the bench. We've been alloying gold and carving signet work at the same bench in Hồ Chí Minh City for years, and a motif with this much detail is where that craft shows.
The Templar Cross and Moissanite Accents
The cross-and-sword medallion isn't a gemstone — it's cast in solid gold from a hand-carved design, then finished by hand. Because there's no single center stone on this ring, José Lux doesn't issue a GRA report for it; certification applies to a graded gemstone, not to metalwork.

The stones set into the cross arms and the shoulder rays are Moissanite — lab-created silicon carbide with its own optical signature, more fire than diamond, which means more rainbow flash under direct light. José Lux hand-matches every accent stone at the bench for color and brilliance, so the four cross-arm clusters and both shoulder rays read as consistent. These are melee-sized stones, and grading each one individually isn't practical at this size — the same is true of the smaller accent stones on any of our halo or pavé rings. What's certain is the material: every stone here is Moissanite, hand-set, with no Swiss CZ mixed in.

Because the sparkle here sits inside the cross and along the shoulders rather than at one dominant point, this ring reads differently than our stone-focused settings — the carved emblem carries the design, and the Moissanite clusters and rays catch light as a supporting detail.
The Gold and Karat Options
The band is solid gold — never gold-filled, never gold-plated. José Lux offers it in 10K gold (41.7% pure gold) and 14K gold (58.3% pure gold). 10K carries less pure gold and more of the harder alloy metals, so it resists everyday scratching a little better — a real factor on a ring built for daily wear. 14K carries more pure gold, which reads deeper and warmer, especially in Yellow Gold. Neither is the "better" metal — they're two different tradeoffs, and José Lux sells both instead of steering you toward one.

Every karat comes in Yellow, White, or Rose Gold. The color isn't a coating — it comes from the alloy formula, the ratio of copper, silver, zinc, or palladium mixed into the gold during alloying. José Lux's White Gold is nickel-free; the white tone comes from silver, zinc, or palladium in the mix, not nickel, which matters if you're sensitive to it.

Every ring goes through four stages at the José Lux workshop before it ships. We alloy 24K gold down to 10K or 14K by hand, in the exact ratio for the karat and color ordered. The band is cast from a 3D CAD design using lost-wax casting, then hand-carved and hand-set — the cross-and-sword medallion first, then the Moissanite clusters and shoulder rays — and polished to finish. Before it leaves Hồ Chí Minh City, we test the karat with an XRF machine, check for nickel, and stamp the legal karat hallmark.

Certification
This ring doesn't ship with a GRA certificate. Unlike our halo and solitaire rings, the Templar Cross Signet doesn't carry a single dominant center stone — every stone on it is a smaller Moissanite accent, set in clusters across the cross arms and in a ray pattern down the shoulders. Grading each one individually isn't practical at that size, so José Lux doesn't issue a gemological report for this piece. Every stone is still Moissanite, hand-matched at the bench for color and brilliance, with no Swiss CZ anywhere on the ring.
Warranty and Repairs
Every José Lux gold ring carries a lifetime warranty. Repairs are free — for life, no expiration date. Every prong and every pavé stone in the cross clusters and shoulder rays is checked by hand before it ships, which is why a stone coming loose from normal daily wear is rare.
If a Moissanite stone does come loose under everyday use — no drops, no impact — José Lux resets it for free. What's not covered: stone loss from a hard impact, a drop, or a strike against a hard surface. That's not treated as a manufacturing defect. José Lux reviews every case individually before deciding next steps, and if a repair falls outside the warranty, we'll still fix it at cost, with a quote before anything is done. The cross-and-sword medallion itself is solid cast gold, so it doesn't come loose the way a stone can — normal wear can dull the polish over time, and José Lux can re-finish it on request.
Shipping
Ships free via USPS to the United States. Delivery takes 5–7 business days. Every order is 100% insured on its declared value — including cases where an incorrect address was provided at checkout. If something goes wrong in transit, you're covered in full.
Your ring travels inside a shock-absorbing layer, packed in its own jewelry box, then inside a protective outer box. Every order includes a cleaning cloth and a José Lux warranty card. The same team that carved your medallion and set your Moissanite accents is the one that packs and ships your order.
Our Workshop
José Lux works out of Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam. The same team that alloys the gold hand-carves the cross-and-sword medallion, sets the Moissanite clusters, and polishes the band — nothing about this ring passes through a third-party factory. Four cross arms, each holding its own stone cluster, and two shoulder rays that have to mirror each other exactly, is a lot of symmetry to hold across one small design. We've done it enough times to know where it goes wrong, and where it holds.

FAQ
Is every stone on this ring Moissanite, or is some of it CZ?
Every stone on the Templar Cross Signet Ring is Moissanite — there's no Swiss CZ anywhere on it. The cross-and-sword medallion itself isn't a gemstone; it's hand-carved and cast in solid gold. Moissanite is set only in the cross-arm clusters and the shoulder ray pattern.
Does this ring come with a GRA certificate?
No. José Lux issues a GRA report when a ring has a single center stone large enough to grade individually — this design doesn't have one. The Templar Cross Signet's stones are smaller Moissanite accents set into the cross arms and shoulders, hand-matched at the bench rather than individually certified.
What's the difference between 10K and 14K gold?
10K gold is 41.7% pure gold; 14K gold is 58.3% pure gold. 10K carries more of the harder alloy metals, so it resists everyday scratching a little better. 14K carries more pure gold, which reads richer and warmer, especially in Yellow Gold. Both are solid gold — José Lux never sells gold-filled or gold-plated pieces.
Is this ring solid gold, or is it plated?
Solid gold, in both karats. José Lux doesn't sell gold-filled, gold vermeil, or gold-plated pieces on this line. The color — Yellow, White, or Rose — comes from what's alloyed into the gold, not a surface coating.
How is the Templar Cross Signet made?
A Templar cross and sword are hand-carved in relief and cast in solid gold on a shield-shaped face. Each of the cross's four arms holds a small cluster of Moissanite stones, and the sword's hilt carries two more. Below the shield, a fan of small triangular facets transitions into a diagonal ray pattern of pavé Moissanite that runs down each shoulder, mirrored on both sides. It's carving work as much as stone-setting, which is different from most of our other rings.
What does the warranty cover?
A lifetime warranty with free repairs. If a Moissanite accent stone comes loose from normal daily wear, José Lux resets it at no charge. Damage from a drop or a hard impact isn't covered as a manufacturing defect; José Lux reviews those cases individually and quotes any repair before starting it.
How does shipping work?
Free USPS to the United States, 5–7 business days. Every order is 100% insured on its declared value, including cases where the shipping address was entered incorrectly at checkout.
Where is this ring made?
Handmade at the José Lux workshop in Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam — alloying, casting, hand-carving, stone-setting, and polishing all happen at the same bench.

José Lux Buying Guide 5 FAQs
1. Is it safe to order online at José Lux?
Yes. Our store runs on Shopify, one of the world's most trusted ecommerce platforms. Shopify protects your personal information and your payment with SSL encryption and a secure checkout, so your details stay private and your payment is safe.
2. Do Moissanite and Cubic Zirconia Jewelry Come with GRA Certification?
The main Moissanite stone in each José Lux piece ships with its own GRA (Gemological Research Association) certificate. The report records the stone's color, clarity, cut, and size, and carries a unique report number traceable to that specific stone. Smaller Moissanite accent stones are the same material, hand-matched to the main stone, but they are not certified individually.
Swiss CZ pieces don't come with a GRA certificate. Instead, our CZ is imported with Swiss lot records, so every batch is documented.
3. Is José Lux Jewelry Quality and Accurately Described?
Every José Lux piece is handcrafted to order at our own workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, in 925 sterling silver or solid 10K and 14K gold. Before it ships, we check every prong and stone setting by hand, and each gold piece is tested for karat and stamped with its hallmark. Each listing states the metal, karat, and stones, and your piece is made to match. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen. If what arrives isn't what you ordered, we'll give you a full refund.
4. Is José Lux Jewelry Shipping Safe?
Yes. Your piece is wrapped in a shock-absorbing layer, set inside a jewelry box, and packed in an outer protective box, so it doesn't shift or get scratched in transit. Every shipment is covered by 100% USPS jewelry insurance. If your order is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit, we cover it. We email your tracking number the day your order ships, so you can follow it all the way to your door.
5. How long does it take to receive my order?
Every piece is made to order, so your total time is production plus shipping, counted in business days.
Silver jewelry: Production takes 3–4 business days. Shipping via USPS takes 7–14 business days to the US, 10–15 to Europe, 7–12 to Asia, and 10–20 to other countries. From order to your door, that's about 10–18 business days to the US, 13–19 to Europe, 10–16 to Asia, and 13–24 to other countries.
Gold jewelry (10K and 14K): Gold ships to the United States only. Production takes 6–8 business days and shipping takes 5–7, so about 11–15 business days from order to your door.
We email your tracking number the day your order ships. Customs processing can add time on international orders.
